Sounds like both Supernatural and Smallville's latest seasons were a dud. Is anyone else pissed that Castiel won't be a series regular next season! I am. He seemed to be the most interesting out of the episodes I'd watched in the later seasons. I don't think the show will be a 10-season-thing like Smallville, because SPN's ratings have dropped faster than Smallville's did. And so, with there being a seventh season, I wouldn't mind betting its the last. Dropping one of the main characters in the final run ... its a terrible idea.

Although Sam and Dean are the MAIN characters, Bobby and Castiel are still damn important and really brought the series up to a new level of awesomeness. They are pretty much essential to the series at this point, bringing a average season up a notch.
So yeah, I'm damn pissed Cas isn't a regular next season although he wasn't a regular season 4 and was in a ton of episodes.
A wild idea for next season would be a "Classic Rock Musical" episode. The writers have done crazier so I'm sure they could find a way to do it right.
What do you guys wanna see next season?

I've only seen the first two seasons, then bits and pieces of the rest -- I saw the last few episodes of Season Six, and I think it would be a good idea for them to focus a bit more on Dean and give him an interesting arc. I saw the premiere and hated the whole "he's a family man" story. And Sam, who is the main character, got that whole soul-less story arc. I think they need to solidify a more intriguing arc for Dean AND Sam that sort of blends together mid-season.
I'm not sure if they've torn the two brothers apart, so if they have, don't mind this comment (because it'll probably be like: "Gah, they always do that and its getting old!") but maybe they could split the brothers up for a couple episodes. Maybe have them at each other's throats, on different sides of the fence with this whole Castiel thing.
I also heard they were bringing in two new characters ... *secretly hopes Allison Mack joins the show...* Hahaha. Its a longshot, but maybe they could mirror the brother stuff with a set of sisters. I guess they had the mother/daughter thing with Ellen/Jo (?) but I just don't think they can keep things going with just Sam and Dean. Focus more on Bobby, bring in some fresh blood, and have Castiel in as many episodes as possible. That and a good arc between the brothers, and separate arcs for the brothers ... they'd have themselves a great season, IMO.

Alright. Season Seven. I've always said they should've ended this series with season 5. After season 6, it seemed as if I was right. This episode, however, challenged that statement.
First off, there was Castiel, the new God. This was a foe they couldn't defeat. Seeing him in a field of dozens of dead angels was definetly striking. The Winchesters went as binding Death. Death is easily the creepiest character on the series so it was obvious this wasn't going to end well. Shame this storyline ended so quickly and is probably the biggest flaw in this episode.
But that ending.... Those last few seconds is what got me really excited for the coming season. Misha Collins stole the episode in those last few seconds. These Levianthans are already a favourite of mine. Hope they can keep the interest for the rest of the season.
I just hope the rest of the season isn't basically what they did back in the season 5 finale; getting an enemy back in his Cage or Purgatory in this case.
Also, what happened with Jimmy, Castiel's host? He's been stabbed, shot, blown up twice, had millions of souls within him and now a goddamn Levianthan, maybe several, in control. Has he moved on and his meat suit is all that remains? Or is he still suffering in there, cos that's gotta be the ultimate Hell.

I can't bring myself to watch a full episode of Supernatural anymore, which really sucks. It seems as though I can only stand the scenes with Castiel. After that, the show gets so boring and Blah, makes me sick. Though, I'm probably just being a little b-tchy about everything that's going on, the episodes are probably decent.
Anyway, I'll try to watch ep. 3-4 because of Jewel Staite, Charisma Carpenter, and James Marsters. If those episodes are good, I'll be more inclined to watch the rest of the season.

I saw like the first 10-15 minutes of 7x02, and it kind of sucked. Bad.

Everyone says Supernatural is getting worse but I think it's getting better, I love Sam, Dean, Bobby and Cas. I think season seven so far is far better than last year, hell it made me sort of cry in both episodes mostly cause Castiel had two death scenes and I don't think he's done yet. In "Meet The New Boss" after Cas came around and went to the boys for to the boys for help it was good to have him back, after they sent the souls back to purgatory (or at least most of them) even though Dean was pissed off you could cleary see how desperatly he wanted to hold on Cas and too not lose him too. And than in "Hello Cruel World" when the Leviathan walked into the water and Castiel was just gone and when Dean reached into the water and pulled out Castiel's coat it was the second saddest moment of the season. I don't think this is the last we've seen of Castiel, God has all ready brought him back twice so something tells me there will be a third time as well. How else could Redemption be a core factor in his character if he only seeked it out for about five seconds at the end of the premiere. He'll probably come back with a solotion on how to stop Leviathan near the end of the season. Who else is excited for Jewel Staite, Charisma Carpenter, Alona Tal and James Marsters. I was thrilled to see Sherrif Mills she is an awesome character and I heard she may get together with Bobby.

Season 7 is absolutely better than last year so far. I do believe we've seen the last of Cas, and probably Misha Collins as well.
Yeah, all these guest stars are exciting, along with Benito Martinez (from The Shield and Sons Of Anarchy) and Mark Pellegrino. I just hope that these storylines focus on the fact that they have guest stars.
For the first time in a long time, I'm excited for the next episode.

Finished Season Six and even though as far as plots go it's not as good as previous season I think this season was off the wall hilarious along with the feel of a horror movie each week. I think it was awesome for Erik Kripke no longer writing for the show.

I enjoyed "Shut up, Dr. Phil." That might have a lot to do with Charisma Carpenter and James Marsters, but I think the episode was pretty decent. I'll tune in next week and hopefully I'll be able to watch it long enough to have an accurate opinion of it.

SPN was great this week. I only tuned in for Charisma -- definitely won't be watching the show religiously. But it was a pretty good episode. I still don't like Dean. He's a prick.

I can't believe I'm saying this -- but you're right. Dean's a prick. I enjoy watching Sam more than him, which isn't saying much, but at the same time it's saying a lot because I couldn't stand Sam from the beginning. At least Dean was awesome for the first 3 or 4 seasons. LOL The biggest problem I have with the show, are the characters, and some of the plots are just too ridiculous. I think the show has changed A LOT over the years. I don't know -- I remember it being much more serious, yet it was funnier back then. I know, confusing. But nevertheless, I'll attempt to watch next week's episode. Don't know if I'll be able to complete it though; Supernatural just isn't my kind of show anymore.

I kinda have to agree. Less with Dean being a prick, more with Dean and his goddamn guilt. It's basically one big pity party these days, except I don't pity him or sympathize with him. I haven't seen the latest episode so I can't say if that's changed.
I also wanna know if Sam is still going insane. Or have the writers conveniently forgot about it? It's really the only thing the show has left going for it.
I don't know why I still watch this show. It's a shadow of its former self. Castiel is gone. Who knows if we'll ever see Crowley again. I don't care much for Bobby anymore. And I really don't care about the Winchesters anymore either. The earlier seasons are still my favorite seasons of TV. Last season sucked and this one isn't going any better.
This turned out alot more bitchy than I thought. Well its how I feel about Supernatural now. I just want the quality of the earlier seasons back. And monsters that have more features than the occasional evil eye.

Latest episode was alright. Sam and Dean imposters going around robbing and killing. I have just one issue...
LEVIANTHANS CAN BE KILLED BY CLEANING PRODUCTS?!?!?
I'm sorry but that is just the most idiotic thing this show has ever done. The overly forced drama between Sam and Dean is better than this crap. Why doesn't somebody replace Sara Gamble?

I really hope this is the final season. I don't think I could watch a full season without Bobby... or a likeable character at all.

I just finished the first season... wow. I have very much love for this show. It has a very "X-Files" feel to it and that is just great. And Azazel... pardon, "that thing" is my favorite character after only one scene in the finale. xD
