Glad to see further content in the form of interviews. Breaking the fourth wall, I think the interview segments are just as creative as the actual episodes. Great job as always.

New Blood: Who is 'Rose Belle?' Last season, the penultimate episode of Trinity season one "Possessed" introduced the character "Rose Belle," to the Trinity Universe. Rose is the head dean a community college where Lana (Kristin Kreuk) is now a guidance counselor. But if you're an avid viewer of the show, you know that nothing is what it appears to be. With Lana's past history with her career, should we be worried about her new boss? Let's find out, in this all new exclusive on the character "Rose Belle," portrayed by the lovely Lucy Lawless. VPtoday caught up with Lawless on the set today and she graced us with her time. When the question of, " Who is Rose Belle... really?" came up, this is what she had to say, " Rose is a very sophisticated woman. Very strong willed, well oriented. She has great control in her life, from what the audience has seen so far. But, it doesn't stop there. I can't reveal too much but, Rose will definitely been seen in a whole new light as the season progresses." " Will that light be negative, or positive?", VPtoday asked. " All I can say is, she will open up many doors, expanding many of the arcs already set inside the show. It should be interesting to see what the fans think about what we have in store." " Based on your work in Xena, I must ask -- will we be able to see any action from your character in terms of fighting?" Lawless had one word as an answer, " Definitely." There you have it! Rose Belle is quite the mystery, and executive producer, Jack Malone told one reporter, " We've got a lot in store for her character. She plays a major role in the shaping of this season, as well as future seasons." Want to know more about Rose? Feel free to ask questions, or wait until "Trinity" returns, in September!

That sounds awesome. I can't wait to see Rose Belle kick some serious ass. I think Lucy Lawless being on Trinity is just EPIC, and I can't wait to see how her character develops over the course of the rest of the season. I wonder what kind of major role she plays in shaping the season?
Gah. I need new episodes like YESTERDAY!

Catching Up: Cynthia's Recap! Character Recap: Cynthia "Cindy" Reynolds (portrayed by Anna Paquin) is a character on "Trinity" who was brought into the story as a double agent, working for Checkmate and against Lana Lang (Kristin Kreuk). In the meantime, she takes a liking to Quentin O'Neal (Jamie Bamber), best friend to Lana. They have a connection at the get go, but we never find out if said connection was romantic in nature, or simply protective, as Quentin always felt the need to "save" her. As the story continues, Cynthia soon discovers that she might be playing for the wrong team and that everything she thought she knew about the people she trusted, was horribly incorrect. But, she was too late and decided to cast herself away from Lana and the others, in hopes to one day regain their trust. Since then, she befriended a metahuman male named Henry Heywood III (Benjamin McKenzie). Through him, she is introduced and initiated into a group of freedom fighters that all want one thing; justice. As time went on, she began to forgive herself which lead to her reconnecting with Lana and her team. This reconnection was cut short when her powers put her in a comatose state, where she is trapped inside a vision of the future, unable to get back to the world she knows.
Cynthia Reynolds' character has been absent for four episodes of season two, but makes her reappearance in episode five which has been titled "Restless." The episode in question follows the story of Cynthia as she finally awakens from her coma. Having almost no memory of what she saw in her visit to the future, she loses sight of her life and that of her friends. All this confusion leads her to the belief that she is, in fact, Valentina Vostok (Ali Larter), whom she must have connected with in the future, which sets her on a journey to finding the truth, no matter who gets hurt in the process. ___________________________ Cynthia returns to "Trinity" when the show comes backs in September! Have any questions about the character and where we want to take her this season? Fell free to ask below!

Awesome recap. Cynthia was one of those characters that took a long time to warm up to, and I can't wait for her return episode - in fact, I can't wait for the whole show to come back. Can we expect recaps on all the characters?

Catching Up: Jake's Recap! Character Recap: Jake Gold, an 'original' character on "Trinity," was introduced as an agent of Checkmate and a new member of Amanda Waller's Suicide Squad. A great amount of mystery was put into this character, as he was portrayed as a man without a conscience, who follows any and every order that his superiors give him. Although his exterior is solid as steel, we begin to notice his softer side when he meets a young woman by the name of 'Jade.' Both Jake and Jade feel a connection the second they laid eyes on each other, but we soon discover that Jade isn't all that she seems. After a bar fight involving Jake and a drunken thug, who gains the advantage by fighting dirty, she miraculously saves him from death, using a strange 'power ring,' which is used only by members of the Green Lantern Corp. Jade takes Jake back to where she comes from, in order to treat his injuries but discovers an electronic chip, hidden inside Jake's brain stem. After its deactivation, Jake finds himself at a loss when it comes to his memory, not even being able to remember his own name.
As time goes past, he gets back bits and pieces of his lost life; enough of it to decide the answer to his problems, is getting payback on the woman that took his free will away: Amanda Waller. After he escapes the Green Lantern facility, he gets himself ready for the face off between himself and Waller. Meanwhile, Lana's friends are about to invade the Checkmate facility, in the hopes of saving a captured Lana. As Jake descends into Checkmate, he discovers he and Lana have a common enemy and decides to help them in their mission, but his goal is still clear. Unfortunately, he is injured by Cheshire, an agent of the Suicide Squad and ally of Waller. Amanda is able to escape, leaving Jake for dead. Luckily, Lana takes him in, hoping she can make reverse the paralysis -- which she did.
After his recovery, he is welcomed into Lana's inner circle of friends and proves himself a valued member of Team Trinity. Now, being the only one with metahuman powers, he is the strongest (physically) of the team. Jake, still struggling with regaining all his memories, finds a friend in Pete Ross (Sam Jones III). Pete seems to be the only one to truly understand him, which is the basis of their growing friendship.
In the season one finale, he, as well as the rest of the team, infiltrates Checkmate in hopes of recovering a young metahuman that Waller has captured. They fight well against their enemies, but Amanda's strategic nature and devious ways comes into play when she traps Jake within Checkmate. Amanda promises him that she'll leave his friends alone, if he agrees to return to her and Checkmate. He ultimately is forced to accept. As Jake and the others return to their center with the metahuman they saved, Jake tells Pete of his agreement with Amanda, making him swear that he won't say anything about it to Lana and the others. Saddened by this, Pete tries to talk him out it, but he doesn't go back on his word. That night, he leaves his friends and returns to the dark shadow of Amanda and her empire, Checkmate.
Weeks have past and we discover Jake is being held prisoner by Waller. After keeping his cool while being questioned by Amanda, he soon meets the true head of Checkmate: Lex Luthor, who forces him back into Checkmate the same way Amanda did, reactivating his mind chip. Now, as he is again an agent of Checkmate, he prepares for the upcoming battle between Checkmate and the friends he doesn't realize he had.
_____________________________ Jake plays a crucial role in season two, and his storyline will be one of the BIGGEST of the series so far. Witness his comeback as he reintegrates himself into team Trinity as a double agent. Coming this September!

Catching Up: Amanda's Recap! Character Recap: Amanda Waller (Pam Grier) was introduced in Trinity's mother show, "Smallville," in which she portrayed the ruthless White Queen of Checkmate, also having connections with The Suicide Squad. Three years after that appearance, after the destruction of Checkmate's central head quarters, "The Castle," she has since moved to the city of Odyssey, New York where through her connections with the Government, she has become the department head of the Central Bureau of Intelligence, often known as the CBI (The DC Universe equivalent to the FBI.) She works in an office by day, but there is someone not many people working under her know. Checkmate's new head quarters is hidden underneath the building, where she operates under the title, White Queen.
Amanda, in search of an assistant to handle her busy upstairs at the CBI, she goes on a spree of interviews which leads to Lana Lang (Kristin Kreuk) being hired. Soon after Lana's arrival, Amanda has her eyes set on a metahuman named Cynthia Reynolds (Anna Paquin) who she wishes to add to her Suicide Squad. When Lana discovers the girl is being hunted by a secret branch of the Government, she investigates the situation. Unfortunately, Checkmate got to Cynthia before she was able to save her. Not knowing Amanda is head of the organization, she continues to work for her.
Soon after Lana is put to work, Amanda realizes that she is in fact the metahuman heroine looking over the city of Odyssey. Now, as Cynthia is put under Amanda's control, she manipulates her into thinking she's one of the good ones, after which, she joins Waller and Checkmate as a double agent. With Cynthia infiltrating Lana and her friends, then reporting back to her -- she has a secret advantage over Lana. In an effort to break Lana Lang, Amanda enlists Stuart Campbell, a knight of Checkmate to steal her computer hard drive, which results in failure. As time goes, and countless efforts to take down Lana and her team, she finally comes up with a new strategy, that ends with the Kryptonite in Lana's body being transferred from her, to hundreds of citizens of Odyssey.
As Amanda escapes the city, she is greeted by someone in her helicopter, speculated to be her boss, Lex Luthor. Disapproving of the job she was doing in Odyssey, Checkmate's board members call Amanda to Metropolis to debate on whether she should be able to keep her title as White Queen. The verdict was solid, she would remain linked to Checkmate, but would have to agree to have the supervision of Checkmate's head, "The Board."
Returning to Odyssey, Waller soon gets back to business when she captures a metahuman male named Hank Heywood III (Benjamin McKenzie). Not knowing that he was a friend of Cynthia's, she soon discovers Lana and her team breaking into Checkmate for the second time, to retrieve him. The infiltration was successful, but Amanda refused to accept a full defeat. She forced Jake (Paul Wesley), a member of Lana's team to return to work for her at Checkmate. After the storm is over, a new one begins as Amanda faces off with the Head of CHECKMATE; the one man she fears the most -- Lex Luthor.
In the season 2 premiere, Amanda is seen as she is quickly losing control of her stance at Checkmate, under to supervision of Lex Luthor, who demeans her every chance he gets. As the situation escalates, Amanda receives a message from Valentina Vostok, who see's Lex as a common enemy. The two are seen together, plotting against Luthor and the way he runs the organization. With that, a new alliance is formed. ______________________________ See Amanda Waller in action when Trinity returns this September!
