hehehe! I'm glad you're excited. I'll be posting an "Unofficial" Description for "Ivy" pretty soon. Also, I'm hoping to reach at least 75 pages for "Realm" If I can get it up to 120 pages, it would be awesome. haha Hahahaha. That would be Awesome Meanwhile.....Clark Kent coming back....Now will that be when Lana is in the different dimension, OR in real life aswell? Unfortunately, it will NOT be a real life encounter between the two. You're gonna have to wait a little while longer for that! XD But, it'll be Clark all the same. I'm still debating on whether Erica Durance should guest star. I think she would possible have a short scene in the episode -- but I'm not sure if that will be wise.

The only way Lois will ever appear on the show is to have her get shot eighteen times in the face, die, and gets possessed by some ancient demon that Clark has to slay and then she's gone forever.

If Mr. Malone doesn't like Lois Lane's Character, and doesn't want to put her in Watchtower, I can respect that. Personally I'd rather he didn't put her in it at all than do what I've seen a lot of other fanfic writers did to characters they hated. They would turn them into a Bitch or have the other characters treat them like Dirt. When I see that, I immediately hit the "Back" button. So Kudos to you if you don't want to include her. Now If Chris wish to put her in "Trinity," I'm Pretty sure Jack has no say in that. He probably doesn't realize though that the way he described Lois in the last 2 seasons, was probably closer to her Comic Book Counterpart than in earlier seasons. In the old Comics as well as animated and live action TV series, she was in peril Constantly, and always needed Superman to rescue her. It wasn't until the "Lois and Clark" era that she actually became the Tougher woman that fought back. And even then she had her fair share of Peril.

Nah, I would have to have a really good reason to put Lois in the show. I'm up to it though, if a story calls for her to be there, it would be no problem but, I'm not forcing an appearance when it comes to Lois Lane

Lois Lane was a personal favourite character of mine until she got screwed over by the comics. By that, I mean, they changed her character to better suit the comics, and the relationship that Clark and Lois share in the comics. She was no longer the character I loved to watch. The Clark and Lois relationship that I followed too had no spark in it because it became so cliche, and soppy that it was unbearable to watch, and this is just my view on it. If I wanted to include Lois on the show, like Chris said, it would have to be the right story. Truthfully, there's only ONE story that calls for it, but that's not for a very, very long time, if Watchtower has that much life here on theVPN.
By the way, everyone as readers of any show can express their opinion on such decision as bringing characters in, or taking characters out, what storylines they're looking forward to, and what they're not. If you read my post, I was talking about bringing Lois Lane on MY show ("Watchtower") and was not disaproving Chris of bringing Lois onto Trinity. That is his ultimate decision, and although as an executive producer I'd say: "If the story calls for it, sure, bring her on board, but until then, don't let others force the character on the show," it is up to Chris whether or not he would enjoy bringing her on the show, and whether its going to happen or not.
But any reader can influence this sort of thing too. So by no means should anyone not express their opinions on what they don't want to see, as ultimately it can give the writer a clearer mind on what to develop more so that they can make sure those readers WILL enjoy it, despite their disapproval, or make them realise its not that important and they can drop the storyline. In all honesty, as a reader now, I'm not sure what kind of presence Lois Lane could have on the show. Not only was Lana screwed over because of the mythology, but now Lois and Clark are together, just like the comics. Lana and Clark's journey together on Smallville was something I found much more enjoyable, and I wouldn't want to see Lois and Lana interact until, at the very least, Lana is happy, content, and able to face the demons of her past. Lois and Lana never had the kind of friendship that calls for her to be on the show. It brings up the questions: Why would Lois visit Lana? Why would Lois visit one of Clark's past lovers, of which, Clark may have still been with had she not been infected with Kryptonite? What does Lana gain out of seeing Lois?
Karl had specifically asked me on many occassions to bring Lois onboard (Watchtower), and the reason the discussion took place here instead of a WT thread was because it was brought up over here. And if I were to introduce Lois Lane, it would be closer to her characterisation in the first four seasons she was a part of (seasons 4-8), which is why I'm hesitant to introduce her on MY show because I'm not sure if fans would accept that.

The only way I can see either Trinity or Watchtower (or any show currently airing on the site) not getting picked up is if the writers (1) chooses not to continue it due to time / life and (2) either the shownrunner does not want someone to take over the show for them or no one feels they can or should continue the show without the guiding force behind it.
As I said before, as a fan of Smallville in particular, I love the time and effort that everyone puts into these spin-off series and how you all find ways to be creative while still being respectful of the established canon.
To keep things unique and interesting shows that one does not have to be completely AU in order to write a compelling story and share their personal voice with others.

I'm really excited for "Ivy." I think it would be great to see a DC Comics Villain's story being told in a different spotlight, one that isn't dependant on being in the Batman universe, at least not beginning there. I think it'll make the journey of that character from point A to point B much more interesting, especially to see Ivy interact with Lana, Quentin, Amanda, etc.

Interview Exclusive: Jamie Bamber! In the midst of Trinity's current hiatus, producers have agreed to take part in exclusive interviews with the entire cast. Our string of interviews begins with lead male on the series, Jamie Bamber, who portrays the characters, 'Quentin Jack O'Neal.' VSGuide sits down with him today to discuss his character, upcoming storylines involving his character this season, as well as his outlook on the series as a whole. VSGuide: You play Quentin O'Neal, best friend and new lover to Lana Lang -- what are your thoughts on your character? Jamie Bamber: Quentin is sometimes a kid, stuck in an adult body. He loves to be silly and he loves being "that guy," which is probably the reason he's a fan favorite on the show. Don't get me wrong, when the moment calls for it, he is as serious as they come, but in the times when he can lay back and joke around, his true character and personality really shine through. VSGuide: If you had to pick a character that reminds you the most of yourself, who would it be? Jamie Bamber: Uhm... I'm going to go with Quentin, actually. I think he's the easiest character that I've ever had to play, not because the writers haven't thrown me any curve balls in the acting department, but I think I really understand Quentin. We're sort of the same person. Aside from him being a computer whiz... I can't even do the Twitter thing - laughs - But, both myself and Quentin have been through much hardship, and still manage to go through life with a carefree attitude, which is something a lot of people in the world do everyday. VSGuide: Producers have hinted that Quentin will have an encounter with his ex-fiancee, Valentina Vostok, in an upcoming episode. Can you expand on that news? Jamie Bamber: Ali Larter is scheduled to appear in about six or more episodes this season, and I'm quite sure I'll be having a few scenes with her character. One scene I am cleared by the producers to tell you about is a scene from the upcoming episode, 'Realm,' where Lana, Cynthia, Rachel, Pete and myself are sent to another dimension. Quentin will be visited by a projection of Valentina, who will basically scare him enough to question his relationship with Lana. There will also be some sexual tension between both of us. I can't really tell you all how that will go down but, expect some heat. VSGuide: What are your thoughts on the Quentin/Lana relationship? Jamie Bamber: I'm would call myself a big fan of Quana. Not because I get to act alongside the beautiful Kristin Kreuk, but I think their relationship was something that couldn't be avoided. The two had a long time to develop and grow, as just friends and 8 times out of 10, that leaves room for strong feelings between at least one of the two. I was so excited when we finally got to that point, because it was really what the fans wanted. I remember Quana being compared to the early relationship of Chloe and Clark in 'Smallville,' so the producers wanted to take that and do more with their friendship by actually making them take the next step. VSGuide: Do you believe that Quana will be endgame for the show? How long do you think it can last? Jamie Bamber: Well, I'd like to think that the two can overcome anything that's thrown their way, but that's not reality. I'm hoping they stick by one another for a long time, but in a show like this, there are really no promises. I guess we're just gonna have to wait and see. VSGuide: We've been getting questions about your scenes with Lex Luthor. Can you tell us anything about that? Jamie Bamber: Well, I can't tell you much but I can say that Quentin stood his ground, shockingly -- because meeting Lex Luthor is something the average person wouldn't take lightly. I'm sure there's a lot more we can expect from the two characters, throughout the course of the series. VSGuide: When you first signed up for the show, what were your thoughts on the series? Jamie Bamber: I watched the show it spun off from and really enjoyed it, so my initial reaction to having the opportunity to work closely with some of the people that put their hearts into that show was just --- wow, I was pretty shocked. I really wanted to add myself and input to this universe and the brilliant characters that have been set up in it. It's just been amazing for me, working with great actors like Kristin, Sam and Pam Grier, and really everyone that's been a part of the show. It's really fulfilling coming to the set everyday. I really enjoy it. More exclusive cast interviews coming up!
