Just watched 3x03! Oh my god. FINALLY, a good episode! Well, I wouldn't say the first two episodes were "bad," but this is definitely the best of the season so far, in my opinion. Also, I think this is the first time I've actually liked the "Klaus" and "Originals" storyline. Things just got pretty interesting there, and I loved the new information we've learned about Stefan's past! Also, KATHERINE! It was so good to see her again. Plus, yes, she is in Chicago! I am in Chicago, this is a whole new level of AWESOME! XD I'm so glad Caroline got away from her father. I was REALLY worried about her! I didn't hate Tyler in this episode either, though he only had like one and half scenes. Oh, I've got a new ship -- Since I've pretty much given up on Stefan/Elena, even though I can't stand the idea of Damon/Elena... I'm totally looking forward to Stefan/Rebecca. I like her already If the show keeps it up, this season could be EPIC!

Wow. I absolutely loved this episode. I still don't like Klaus... but Rebecca, oh, she's definitely something. And, like Chris said, KATHERINE! Hell to the yeah!! I'm also continuously digging how the show is becoming broader and broader. Now they're hitting the big city! I'm impressed.

NEW OTP on The Vampire Diaries! Watch an AWESOME Stefan/Rebecca video below! Though, the writers will probably have her back under the knife in the next week or so

The only thing I've decided to ship on TVD is me and Katherine. lol, jks. It would be character + Happiness. Because I mean, I love the chemistry between Elena/Damon, but I can't see it leading anywhere romantically, realistically. And all the characters are getting killed off every second week, or terribly injured in some way, or they are emotionally scarred from something... its just hard to find a OTP. At the moment, I'm enjoying Jeremy/Bonnie, but I'm not sure how long that will last ...
With Elena, I don't think she should date either Salvatore. But where's the show in that, right? Personally, unless they turn Elena into a vampire, I don't want her dating a vampire. It sort of limits her future, in a way. I think Elena should grow up, live old, and have kids. I don't see Stefan/Elena ever being together after what's going on now, and I just can't wrap my head around Elena going from one brother to another.
This show is hard to ship for. Maybe I'll just join Chris in shipping Stefan/Rebecca. But even that relationship is doomed to end, and probably extremely violently.

I really don't care much who is doing who. What I'm far more intriuged in is:
- Katherine. What she is doing exactly, why she is doing it and just about everything about her
- Sebastian Roché and who he is exactly. Is he just some hunter? I severely doubt that. My guess is that he is The one that Klaus was on the run from. Quite possibly his father.
- Evil Stephan. GIVE ME MORE OF THIS! Give me more flashbacks. Give me more bodies. Give me more Stephan/Klaus wingmen.
I'm an Elena/Stephan shipper, I admit but those three things above are what is truly holding my interest.

I just finished watching "The end of the Affair" and just wanted to comment on the season as a whole. First I think it's interesting that David Anders joins the cast as Elana's dad in season one and than in than this year Jack Coleman returns as basically the same character as Noah Bennett only where Noah made it his life to protect Claire, Bill makes Caroline no exception though I did find it comforting that he wanted to save her before he had tried to kill at least. But Coleman is a warm welcome to the cast none the less.
- DELANA and STEPHAN AND ELANA: I don't care much about Stefan and Elana, but hate the idea that there are so many Delana fans out there. But everyone is entitled to their opinion I guess.
- VICKY: I love having her back on the show, I can't wait to see how things go down with her character.
- MATT and JEREMY: I'm kinda digging their new found bromance, it still somehow weirds me out whenever Matt talks about the supernatural though and I don't know why...
- ALARIC: I love Rick, but lets be honest here. Now that he's stepped into a paternal role for Jeremy and Elena he's as good as dead. Look at their history.
Mom's status = Dead Dad's status = Dead John's status = Dead Aunt Jenna = Dead
see the patern?
- CHICAGO: This is the reason Klaus has kept Stefan around? Beacuse they were friends in the 20s? It seems sorta pathetic. Don't get me wrong I love Klause as a character but he never struck me as much of a "I'm lonely and need a friend" kind of guy. Maybe if he stopped killing everyone in his life he wouldnt be. I'm willing to pretend the scene between Klaus and Gloria didn't happen cause than it would make much sence that he kept Stefan around as a peace offering to Rebecca who is another fantastic character I can't wait to see more of.
I know "History repeats itself" is a reccuring theme in the show but it just feels like we keep watching the same stories evolve with different characters. Hopefully season three will give us new storylines.

Watched the Vampire Diaries last night. Here are a few of my thoughts. "Smells Like Teen Spirit," definitely wasn't the BEST episode (in my opinion), but that doesn't mean it was bad. Good or bad, the episode did entertain. A few ups I have to mention are; 1. Numero Uno is Stefan Salvatore. Stefan was the BEST thing on the show last night. This new attitude is just brilliant, and I'm loving it and I want more, even though I know I shouldn't. I kind of wish he could stay this way but -- it aint' happening. 2. Caroline Versus Rebekah. I think the dynamic we saw between these two bad ass, blonde, vampire ladies in this episode is something to look out for. Rebekah is an interesting, villainous character that I'm looking forward to learning more about. The thing about her is, she'll probably get killed sooner, rather than later, and that's such a shame. Not that I particularly 'like' her as a character, but I like the idea of her, which makes me even more interested. 3. Damon's "Buffy" reference. I know, this isn't a very important detail about the episode, but I'm a gigantic BtVS fan, and any reference to the series is ace in my book. Also, he managed to reference Buffy and Xena in the same sentence, which makes it even more awesome. Thank you, Vampire Diaries writers xD 4. Elena, growing some what of a pair (you know what I mean). I liked that Elena is fighting. She's not brooding (much) or swooning, or just being her normal dull self. I hope this attitude sticks, because she's one of the worst characters on the show (Matt, you're number one on my list) because she's just so damn dull. I can't care about her for some reason. Bleh, I'm in a bad mood so that might be affecting my review quite a bit. And now, we get to the negative points. (Sighs) 1. Bonnie and her "relationship/feelings" (air quoting for a reason, people) with/about Jeremy. Bonnie is becoming quite -- bleh! I mean, in season one and two (somewhat) I looked at her as one of my favorite characters. But she's constantly becoming more and more cheap(?) as the show goes on. I'm just not into her anymore and actually -- I can't see why I ever was. It's not her fault, but the writers are really screwing her character up. One of the problems I'm having, is the whole Bonnie/Jeremy fiasco. I'm not feeling it. I'm not believing it, and it seems as though the characters themselves don't BELIEVE the "feelings" they're meant to have for one another. Bonnie's jealousy over Jeremy's interactions with Vicki and Anna, was just laughable. I couldn't believe it, and more importantly, I could care less. FORWOOD makes more sense then them, and that is saying something. There were LOADS of other things that didn't sit well with me, including the entire "ghost" storyline (Vicki being a pain in the ass, even from the grave. I knew there was a reason I never liked her). But, I don't even feel like going into that right now. About the ending -- I was not impressed. Mason Lockwood is back as a spirit... uhm, okay.

I agree with basically everything you said. Except that I used to hate Bonnie, but now I don't even care. She could be missing for episodes at a time and I doubt I'd even notice. Also, no mention of Katherine? And her possible fate...

^^ I refuse to believe that Katherine is dead. The writers can't be THAT stupid... can they?

No...no... Michael is just getting a bit of blood so he can get his strength back up. She's alive...yeah....of course... She's alive. I refuse to believe anything else.
Goddamn it, I hate the show for this.

Can you even kill a vampire by draining their blood? I mean -- if she gets some more in her system, she'll be alright -- RIGHT?? lol, let's hope so. Because if she's dead, I'm going to send a very rude letter to Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec.

Maybe she'll end up like those vampires in that Tomb all the way back in season 1. Completely immobile but still alive.

^Wihoo! Even better. We get weak Kat.. again. Ugh. If she's going to be *pardon* someone's bitch again, I'd rather she dies.

The more I think about it, the more I want her dead. She has no real point on the show anymore. She has very little to do. I can handle her death.

I really enjoyed the mid-season premiere episode! It could have used Caroline, but no points subtracted due to the lack of her. I can't believe I'm saying this but I started to like Jeremy as a character, for the first time in... well, ever... in this episode. Hopefully he doesn't actually leave the show, because that would be a bummer. Just when he got interesting again... *sighs* Klaus was cool. I don't hate him anymore, which is a bit whacked out. I'm looking forward to the rest of the season, and I'm not even gonna make a comment about the final scene.

The Vampire Diaries' most recent episode was pretty good. I thought it was insanely weird that Elena brought Caroline to a cemetery for her birthday *cough* sorry, Funeral! If my friend took me to a cemetery for my birthday I'd slap them right in the face. But, it sort of made sense, in a twisted, weird way. It would have been less tragic if it wasn't on her birthday, but whatever.
Stefan is officially my favourite character. Well, it changes almost each week, but he's such a great character! I loved that scene between him and Elena where he talks about how he had nothing left, and Elena's all "You had me!"
That Klaus/Caroline scene at the end of the episode was pretty good too. I also like how they seemingly had Tyler stand up against Klaus, but in the end, he couldn't disobey his orders/control himself. I really hope they kill Tyler off at the end of the season. Every time they attempt to redeem him, he comes off an even worse character.
Lastly, I honestly believe the writers will string all the Damon/Elena fans along until the very end of the series, and still not have them in an actual relationship. I'd be very happy with that, though. I mean, that triangle will always be there between Stefan/Elena/Damon, but I think the real "love story" of the show is between Stefan and Elena.
Anyway, this episode was pretty good. XD I loved that Bonnie was all: "Helll Naaawwww" to Elena about the situation with Jeremy. But, of course, the character gets backlash from, well, speaking. A lot of fans piss me off. lol.

^ I absolutely agree with everything you've just said! Especially about Stefan being your favorite character! Stefan is awesome, and he's been one of my favorites since season one, and I think he pretty much drives most of the show for me, interest wise. I hate how they're making Bonnie out to be sort of the "bitchy" character, though I agree with Bonnie. Elena shouldn't be taking away Jeremy's freedom like that. The bitch. lmfao!
