While procrastinating on uni assignments I thought I'd read and review the latest episode of Trinity, 'Cryo'. Unfortunately I haven't been keeping up to date with Trinity so I would be able to review it in relation to the rest of the series but I can review it from the point of view of someone who just happened pick up the show at this episode. Haha! Trust me, I know how that goes. So, no problem. Also, so sorry for this late reply. I'm not a HUGE fan of filler episodes, though they are necessary sometimes. So, I decided to combine a one shot episode with an episode that moves forward in the plot, for this one. Glad you liked the way it was constructed Yay! I was hoping that Rachel would be a fan favorite this season. She's definitely my favorite character to write for as well, her witty dialogue and spunky personality is something I would like to continue for as long as possible, before her character ultimately takes a turn around in the other direction. hahaha! There's something about these two that I just can't get enough of, but I know what you mean. I shouldn't go overboard, making their scenes together all "lovey dovey." I can see how it comes across as a bit cheesy, but I promise to bring the fluff done a few notches Oh, I cannot express how sorry I am about those typos. Major facepalm, on my part. I'll be making sure to proofread and just improve in that area, overall. I know what you mean, Jennifer's character could have had a more realistic transition. I think I kind of rushed her character throughout the episode and it didn't turn out as well as I had hoped. But, hopefully that aspect of the show, in future episodes, will improve. Thanks for reading, and reviewing, MJ! Means a lot, BTW, I cannot wait to start reading/reviewing Edge of Vision! XD

Am reading "Boom." This line just needed to be posted, it was so awesome. Quentin is probably my favourite character on this show! QUENTIN Different sides -- I wouldn’t call working for an evil branch of the government, under the leadership of a crazed woman “different sides of the fence.” That’s more like foreign continents!

Review: "Boom" ~ Trinity
"Boom" is another great installment from the second season of Trinity that develops the character of Rachel Roth (Lyndsey Fonseca), unwravels a big mystery involving Quentin's (Jamie Bamber) past, and marks the return of the bad ass Amanda Waller (Pam Grier) who had turned a bit soft in recent episodes.
THE RETURN | Valentina Vostok - the ex-fiance of Quentin "Jack" O'Neal, has returned and is plotting against ... Lex Luthor. Working alongside Amanda Waller, they definitely seem to be planning something big to take down Luthor once and for all - evil vs evil seems to be an overlapping arc that's been threaded through the season so far, ever since Lex has returned. It was nice to see Amanda be reminded of the bad-ass-ness that is herself because I seriously believe that if Waller tries hard enough she can take Lex down.
THE START OF A BEAUTIFUL FRIENDSHIP | Stuart Campbell made a return himself in this week's episode with vital information for Quentin. As he stalled fessing up for as long as he could, Stuart finally told Quentin what he was hiding: "Valentina is alive." This episode proved to me that Stuart would be a perfect character to keep on the recurring guest cast because his interactions with Quentin worked so well - their history that you've created on the show adds a layer to their friendship that I probably wouldn't find that interesting had it not been established. They work well together, and although the whole arc in this episode between them was about stalling something for as long as possible, it remained entertaining.
THE PERFECT SIDEKICK | Although some may argue it was Lana (Kristin Kreuk) who played the role of 'sidekick' in this episode, either way, Lana and Rachel Roth worked well together, and Rachel is instantly becoming a fan favourite. They managed to get through the drastic situation they were stuck in the middle of, and Lana proved herself to be one BAMF with the way she fought that guard. At the end of the day, they are both shaping up to be great heroes, and I'm glad that Rachel is revealing her secrets to Lana because Lana can definitely help -- her reaction to Clark Kent being an alien proving just that. I hope to see more of these two.
QUANA: UP IN FLAMES? | Its no lie that Lana and Quentin are a huge highlight of the series for me. Their relationship as a couple is slowly developing, and how they talk so fondly of the other always makes me smile. But with Quentin learning that Valentina is alive, and the fact that Lex Luthor is back, I'm sensing a lot of build up to a confrontation that could ruin everything for Lana and Quentin. I'm both excited and scared for what's in store for these two and their relationship with one another.
Ultimately this was another great episode, with an unbalanced pace that sort of damaged the flow of events. The episode started sort of slow, building up towards what we were teased in the cold opening, but then as things began to pick up, it seemed that everything was moving along way too fast to take everything in.
8/10 ~ Solid plot, good development, with an unbalanced pace that damaged the flow of the episode.

Well Chris. Im sorry i took so long to review for the first three episodes of the new season of Trinity. I know you must be RAVING mad.hahaha. So to make it up to you. Im going to write you A MEGA ULTRA SUPER REVIEW Characters: Lana:In 2.01 MENTOR: Basically started this episode with a kickass start. Her job as a guidance counselor was a funny scene that i enjoyed alot.lol. It reminded me of Buffy's scenes in Season 7 when she was a guidance counselor dealing with students. Her scenes with Rachel were nice. I loved that she was confused about everything and was also confused about how Rachel knew she was Trinity. Her scenes with Quentin were epic. They reminded me of what Clark and her could of had if Lex didnt intervene. In 2,02 CRYO: Her relationship with Quentin seemed a little bit too lovey dovey. I didnt think it would evolve so quickly between her and Quentin but it did. Her trying to figure Rachel out was pretty entertaining. I also enjoyed how she invited Quentin to the dance as her date but of course they didnt get a dance until later. I found that scene pretty entertaining. And in 2.03 BOOM: Her scenes with Rachel were the BEST . And i agree with what Jack said about how Lana played "sidekick" to her. I really enjoyed there scenes together QUENTIN: In 2.01 MENTOR: His scenes with Lana were perfect. I loved how in the car he tried going for a kiss while she was going for a hug.haha. I thought that was adorable. I was really glad that he and Lana are together now. I cant wait to see what happens next. Although I do miss him being the tech head. I havent seen him in front of a set of computers in SO long and just be the eyes and ears for Lana. In 2.02 CRYO: Like i said in Lana's i felt that the two of them got too love-dovey.haha. Meanwhile....I like how he seems to notice that Lana wasnt worried about Lex. I cant wait for him and Lex to actually meet and for them to get into a fistfight over Lana. I loved there slow dance at towards the end of this episode. And finally in 2.03 BOOM: I liked his and Stuart's scenes together. And I once again agree with Jack about how Stuart should stay a recurring character. He and Quentin have a good friendship that should be explored more. And plus since he and Quentin are both Tech heads they can both work at Command Central together. I cant wait to see what happens next since his wife has come back into his life Cynthia: In 2.01 MENTOR: She's still in her coma. I also enjoyed how she projected from the future. I found that that is a good power for her to have. I cant wait to see what the future looked like for her. She was absent in these twoo current episodes. Pete: In 2.01 MENTOR: I liked how he went to go see Cynthia and was questioning his role on the team. And how he also knows Jake's secret and he doesnt know if he could tell the others what it is. And in 2.02: CRYO: I liked how he and Hank traveled to Metropolis to figure out the reappaerance of Lex. It was really nice to see Hank and Pete team up and try to figure out Lex's secrets. They had really good chemistry together. Oh and another thing I enjoyed was how you made that side joke about with the Clerk about how he thought Pete and Hank were gay.haha. I was laughing. And i cant wait for Jake to come back and try to ruin that. He was absent in episode 3 Jake: In 2.01 MENTOR: He of course is still the defiant guy that we all know and love. His scenes with Amanda and Lerx made me worried. I felt bad for the guy when Lex ended up turning him once again to a mindless drone . I hope the gang end up looking for him. He was absent for two episodes Rachel: In 2.01 MENTOR: I like how she figured out Lana's secret so quickly. It was really great to show just how aloof and mysterious as her character in the comics is . I also enjoyed toward the end of the episode where she was levitating everything and herself and her room. She seemed so at peace and in control here. In 2.02 CRYO: She and Gar were a match made in heaven. I loved how the two of them interacted with eachother. It made me smile and something I'm looking forward to when the two of them actually become a couple. And also i loved how it was her saving the day. She is a really good character. Another thing i enjoyed was how she kept smacking people in the head while they were trapped in the auditorium. And another thing thats good is that you didnt make her closed off from people. And finally in 2.03 BOOM: Her scenes with Lana were funny. She basically saved the day ONCE again. Im waiting for when she tazkes up her codename. Another thing i enjoyed was how her and Lana were discussing her powers. And now it seems Checkmate is into getting her. I cant wait to see what happens next. Lex: In 2.01 MENTOR: I enjoyed his scenes. He is a boss. I loved how he just shot Waller point blank without even batting an eye. What i also enjoyed was that he said the namme Superman. His scenes with Jake made me smile aswell. He was totally manipulative and on top of things which made me happy. I love how he is the head of checkmate and is still a boss. Him turning Jake back into his old self. I know that is going to have problems in the future. And in 2.02 CRYO: His scenes with Cat Grant were epic. I kind of figured his influence was going to be involved in this episode. He was absent in Episode 3. Amanda: In 2.01 MENTOR: She seemed alot more subdued. I was kind of upset Lex shot her. But then i remembered...she is the bad guy. Her scenes with Lex were horrible. I felt really bad for her. She is so Whelmed. Meanwhile....Her questioning Lex's Motives was an excellent way to bring her back to form. She is absent from Episode 2. In 2.03 BOOM: She is working with Valentina (good casting btw) and i found that amazing that the two of them are tryinng to take down Lex. Meanwhile I like how Valentina showed her that she put herself in this position by showing weakness. And i like that she sent Gibson to Blackgate. I cant wait for that place to be looked into more Well now time for the final scores 2.01 MENTOR: 10/10 A+ 2.02 CRYO: 9.5/10 A Reason: Just a few minor spelling errors and messed up words 2.03 BOOM: 10/10 A+ Hope you like the review

Review: "Boom" ~ Trinity THE RETURN | Valentina Vostok - the ex-fiance of Quentin "Jack" O'Neal, has returned and is plotting against ... This season is all about choosing sides. Our characters will be faced with difficult decisions and once they made a choice, they can't go back. The idea of Amanda and Valentina working together came to me because Lex Luthor, in Trinity, is portrayed as a "soulless monster." And though Amanda and Val aren't angels themselves, they're the lesser of two evils. More on that will definitely be shown later in the season. -- Amanda got her bad ass card back this episode! Yay, I missed writing it as much as you missed reading it. Stuart is always fun to write and I'm glad the scenes between him and Quentin were entertaining for you. Don't worry, Stuart will be back this season, and I'll try to keep him around for as long as possible. Lana and Rachel, working side by side was a bit difficult for me to write a first, since I'm soo used to writing Quentin in the position Rachel will be filling. But, Rachel is one of those characters that's always shocking the reader, and that's why I think her and Lana are perfect for each other, out in the field. An dont worry, they will be long term partners this season, well... mostly Oh be scared... be VERY scared! HAHAHA XD Thanks Jack, I always appreciate your feedback! xD I'll try to work on my pacing and episode structure, because I agree with you 100%

Well Chris. Im sorry i took so long to review for the first three episodes of the new season of Trinity. I know you must be RAVING mad.hahaha. So to make it up to you. Im going to write you A MEGA ULTRA SUPER REVIEW Haha! Karl, I couldn't be mad at you And thanks fort he MEGA ULTRA SUPER REVIEW! XD Yeah. Her job as a counselor really made me remember that year of Buffy. Hopefully, It would be too similar to that storyline, later in the series. And I think you're on to something there, when you say "what Clark and her could of had if Lex didn't intervene." -- We'll definitely bring up Clark, in a huge way in an upcoming episode xD I understand. After reading the script again, I that I went a bit overboard when it came to Quana. hahaha I was just soo in that mood when I wrote it. But don't worry, it gets more mature and believable as time goes on. Thanks, I love writing those two together. Glad you liked them. He'll be back in that role of "tech head" pretty soon xD Just needed to make room for the lovey dovey stuff, which I know, got really overdone. hahaha OoooOOhhh boy, I can't wait for them to meet either xD I'll try to make it great for you xD I've always liked what we got to see of Stuart in Smallville. I had wished his character was explored more, which is why I set him and Quentin up like this. Their past together provides a pretty interesting base for the two's friendship, so I'll definitely keep him around for as long as I possibly can Besides, Quentin needs a male friend. HAHA I'm currently episode 5 "Restless," which is the episode Cynthia wakes up from her vision. I'm almost done, seeing as it has been one of the hardest episodes to write, I hope it answers most of your questions about the future she saw. He's is a very conflicted character, though he doesn't let it show to the people around him. I'm looking forward to expanding his story in the series. Hank and Pete were two fresh faces (together anyway) and I found it surprising how well the two work together on a page. They'll remain friends this season, hopefully even after Jake reappears. and HAHAHA! Yeah, whenever I get the chance to write some comedy, especially in an action based show, I take it Glad it made you laugh. He'll find his way back into the team within the first half of the season, but will his loyalties be with Trinity, or Checkmate?? Only time will tell The mystery revolving around her character will only grow, then grow some more! XD haha Gahh! I'm in love with that relationship, so much xD There's definitely going to be some stuff to look forward involving Rachel/Gar. -- Rachel is such a complex character, its going to take a while to fully establish herself onto the show, which is why the first few episodes, and some after that will revolve around her. Since no one is complaining yet, I guess they're digging her character Stay tuned for the next episode She's gonna be bad ass in that one. HAHA And about her becoming "Raven," It'll definitely happen sooner, rather than later. Lex is a beast! haha That is all. -- nah, Jack has told me that me writing for evil character is the best, I think its because I'm so nice in real life, I loooove resorting to screenwriting to release that mean strike, So, i'm glad you liked how he is being portrayed here Lex/Cat forever. I was actually pondering the idea of "maybe they get a little frisky after that hand shake..." but decided to cut it out from the scene. haha! Amanda vs. Lex is one of my personal favorites this season. I'm looking forward to the day when Amanda actually wins over Lex, if that day will ever come... Thanks, and about the casting...omg, I loove Ali Larter for the role, but I felt so bad after seeing a picture of Piper Perabo yesterday and thinking, shxt...she could have made a great Valentina. HAHA But, I'll stick by my choice, hell, maybe Piper will find herself on the show at some point in time Now, back to AMANDA -- She's definitely back to where she was before Lex returned. She got a bit soft and Valentina really got her to turn around and believe in herself again. About Blackgate -- it will definitely be looked into more, if not this season, than later in the series, if I'm graced with another season Thank you Karl, for the awesome ratings, as well as the EPIC review! xD I always love your feedback!
