Alright, I just finished "Cryo" and I quite enjoyed it, despite a few issues I had with it. So, let's go with it faction-wise: Lana and QuentinI was afraid when their first scene, in the bedroom, started that it was going to be too 'lovey-dovey' for my taste, but I was pleasantly surprised by that. I think their scenes worked very well and they have fantastic chemestry. They're so different from each other and yet so similar. The kind of relationships I like. Rachel Roth (and Gar)Rachel continues to grasp my interest the most on this show. She's simply put BADASS. I love her character. At such a young age, she's very confident, she's already using her powers, she knows what she wants. I love it. As long as you don't cliche her, or add too many typical "teenager elements" to her. While yes, she is a teenager, I'd hate to see that happen to her. Rachel and Gar, what can I say? They work wonderfully off one another and I would love to see more of them together. I think I'm even willing to vote them one step over Lana and Quentin as a pairing. Carry on! And Rachel's scene there at the end of the episode, where she returned Jennifer's ice to her was badass. That gave me chills. Which leads me onto -- Jennifer WalkerI'll have to agree with Jack and MJ (I think?) on this one. I felt that her transition... well, actually, there didn't seem to be one. She just sort of randomly started killing people, which I suppose could be blamed on her powers "taking over" (as Lana and Rachel mentioned at the end of the episode, Jennifer Walker was gone at that point or she was being herself for the first time). So yeah, that was an issue, but not a major one. I still very much enjoyed the episode. The scene towards the end, where Jennifer goes apeshit (iceshit?) on everyone, that's when I felt her character worked best. When she was just being a flatout crazy bitch, pardon the language. The little sequence where she was dancing with the frozen partner was a brilliant little thing. Chills again. Towards the end, I was half expecting Amanda Waller to walk in on Jennifer in that room, which brings me onto -- Amanda WallerSee? This category should contain text too. Pete and HankMy other issue with the episode. I think Pete and Hank worked well as partners and their scenes were interesting, so the issue is not up to them. I felt their parts were sort of cut short. I don't know, I feel like their search for Lex should have been given a bit more focus. The same goes for Cat Grant, although seeing Lex in person at the end there was nice. And finally (category-wise), we have -- GarYeah, he deserved his own category, just to show how much I liked his character in the episode. He not only worked off Rachel extremely well, but he was a fun character on his own. I can't wait to see him go Beast Boy. I expect to see him added to the "Recurring Characters" list sometime soon. xD Alright, with all that said, there was one scene I didn't really understand. At the end, when Lex and Cat are talking, it says Clark and Lois are somewhere behind them, right? That's how I interpreted it. If so, then... uh, isn't it a bit odd for Lex freaking Luthor to be standing right there in plain sight? xD I'm sure this is not the case, but I felt I should bring it up anyway. Now, I'll wrap this up with the following: I see what you did there, hehe. I'll have to give it a 9/10. The two not-so-major issues I mentioned, but overall a great episode. Onto number three.

Alright, I just finished "Cryo" and I quite enjoyed it, despite a few issues I had with it. So, let's go with it faction-wise: I'm glad you read the episode, and enjoyed it xD The Quana relationship is focused on heavily in this episode. I wanted to give you all at least some amount of fluff because it's about to get crazy, really soon so, expect less and less of the "lovey-dovey" and more drama, and maturity in their relationship. I tried to create a nice balance between the two characters, so I'm glad that show through their scenes together in this episode. Rachel has to be one of my favorite characters to write, and since she plays a major role this season, I'm excited to develop her character to new, greater places! XD Rachel & Gar have a nice friendship, and I'm going to make sure to highlight that in their scenes together. As the season progresses, we dig more into Rachel's past and origins, which leads me to confirm that she'll never be portrayed as a "cliche, typical, teen." At least, I'll try me best to avoid doing that Yes, I realize this was the main issue of this episode, and I'm in total agree. It could have been handled a lot better, and next time I'll work on my pacing and structure when it comes to these kinds of characters. I know, you all LOVE Amanda Waller. haha! But, she just can't be in every episode unfortunately. Hopefully, when she's absent again I'll make more mention of her character, at least. This subplot was a bit amiss in the episode, I agree. I'm so glad you enjoyed Gar so much! I didn't think people would, at all! haha XD I'll be sure to add more scenes with him and Rachel this season. Well, it was after hours and Clark and Lois were in the main area of the basement bull pin when Cat and Lex were in a private office. I guess we can assume that Lex is just really sneaky HEHEHE, thanks for the rating/review, and I hope you enjoy the rest of the season

Just finished with "Boom" and, again, I quite enjoyed the episode. I liked "Cryo" more, but that hasn't got anything to do with lack of quality, rather personal taste. Alright, let's roll -- Lana and RachelI enjoyed their interaction in the episode, although I feel it was cut a bit short. I know that would be hard to do with Rachel's powers and all, but a little more "sitting around/talking" time would have been nice. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed them a lot. I like their dynamic, with Lana getting annoyed at Rachel's interventions and all. So, I hope to see more interaction between these two... but I'm positive I don't even need to ask for that. xD Quentin and StuartAgain, it's got nothing to do with quality, rather personal taste (and perhaps the fact that this is, for me, the first time I'm seeing Stuart), but I felt Quentin and Stuart's scenes were so so. The dialog was, as always, well-written, so it's not up to that. I think it's Stuart's character probably, I'm just not that fond of him. Quentin was his usual awesome, though and I thought it was nice to see how he is without Lana/on his own (again, I haven't read the first season, so this is all fairly new to me xD). Amanda and ValentinaAnd here we have the interaction I enjoyed the most, and probably will continue to enjoy the most, in the episode and series respectively. All my love to Amanda. Now I got to see more of Valentina as well, after her cameo at the end of "Mentor" and I'm pretty certain I'll enjoy her a lot too. She's that mysterious woman with uncertain intentions for helping Amanda (unless I've missed something? >.> -facepalm- that would be a bit awkward now). I like mysterious characters like that. GarHe had like, two scenes? Yeah, he managed to totally steal those two, short scenes nonetheless, IMO. More of him within a close future, yes! xD Alright, now here's quote of the day: 10/10. This was very weird for me to grade. Quality-wise, I didn't see anything wrong with it, as opposed to last week's "Jennifer's transition-thing". However, "Cryo" was still more enjoyable to me. God... are you as confused as I am by this?

Oh. My. God. What did I just read? I am breathless. Seriously. That was bloody brilliant. I throw around the word 'brilliant' a lot, but take notice of the 'bloody' before it. Wow. Alright, let's try and put this wonder into words, via the usual way --
Lana and Rachel
I'm just liking these two more and more. The scene at the start of the episode, with Lana's yearbook was great writing on its own and I loved Rachel's attitude there. What I think is so unique here is, this feels to me like a 'Mentor - Student' kind of relationship... only, I have no idea exactly who's the Mentor and who's the Student.
Stuart and Quentin
Stuart is still a very 'Meh' character to me. Don't hate, don't like him. So I'll leave it at that with him. Quentin, on the other hand, had some great character development throughout this episode. The scene at Valentina's place was, again, great writing. You set the different shots perfectly and the flashbacks were used well.
'Mr. Gold'
I can't really say much of anything about him right now. He wasn't in it a lot and I'm not sure if this new person is the old 'Jake'. To be continued, I guess...
Amanda 'freakin' Waller
Here's where I have trouble putting it all into words. I have so much love for this woman. She's without doubt one of my favorite villains ever (and that's counting 'real television' in as well). You're doing a fantastic job with her and the way she's so incredibly cold. It gave me chills how she just spoke casually to Lana and then, not much later, just goes with that 'Kill them both' line without as much as the blink of an eye. Oh, Amanda.
Valentina Vostok
Yup, I was right in my review of last episode. I am loving Valentina's character a lot. I don't know what to say, other than that she is one heck of a BAMF. Her fight scenes with Pamela were... well, another case of being left without words. I'll leave it at that, cause I don't think any words for what I read are gonna pop up. (*Coughs* Quentin Tarantino - Kill Bill, Volume 2 - Fight scene in Bud's trailer *Coughs*) On a sidenote there, when they came crashing out of the elevator, I'm gonna have to hate a little on you. That 'little' moment made me laugh out loud... in class. While the teacher was speaking.
And we have, last but certainly not least in this rollercoaster of epicness --
Pamela Isley/Poison Ivy
Seriously? You were actually worried you didn't portray her well? You had her SPOT ON. That was Poison Ivy, from tip to toe and I was loving every moment of her. Once again, I am unable to put it all into into coherent words, so let's leave it at that again. (*Coughs* Jack, if you happen to see this... well, let's say 'Arkham' is on your show. I think you know what I'm trying to say. xD *Coughs*)
There was a lot of great quotes in this one, but here's the one I ultimately picked for Quote of The Day:
Thank you, Chris, for making my dull Monday just about a thousand times better. People on the bus back home will probably be creeped out, cause I'll be smiling uncontrollably like a fool all the way.
10/10. Surprise?

Oh. My. God. What did I just read? I am breathless. Seriously. That was bloody brilliant. I throw around the word 'brilliant' a lot, but take notice of the 'bloody' before it. Wow. Alright, let's try and put this wonder into words, via the usual way -- Oh my gosh, thanks so much Amin! I'm so glad you enjoyed "Ivy," I was really hoping you would! XD I'm glad you feel that way, because that's the kind of relationship I wanted to convey between Lana and Rachel. It's true, you can never truly tell which one is learning from who, because they both learn a lot from each other. That aspect of their relationship will be touched on even more in the coming episodes Stuart has always been a bit difficult for me write for. We only got to see a little bit of him on Smallville, and here on Trinity it seems like he's a totally different person, in a way. Hopefully, my writing for him will improve, making him a much more likeable character. And to me, this is one of Quentin's best episodes, in terms of development. Him seeing Valentina was a HUGE deal, and his character will change a lot from this point on. But, he'll still be good ole' Quentin no matter what It's crazy how short Jake's scenes have been so far, considering the GIGANTIC storyline I have for him this season. Don't worry, Jake will be featured a lot more, a starting on Ep. 7 -- I hope you'll like his character! Amanda is, of course, my favorite character to write for. She's just really bad ass, and though she is portrayed as "evil," she has many layers, which will be brought to the spotlight in "Wall," which I know you cannot wait for XD Thanks for the compliment! OMG, that's awesome! I'm so glad you love her that much, means a lot! Valentina is another cool character to write. I can't wait to write some scenes for her, involving other characters, besides Amanda xD Then you'll really get a taste of her. Valentina is VERY mysterious. Whether are not her motives are true... you'll have to wait and see Oh, and omg, I am soo not worthy of a KILL BILL comparison xD haha! I loved that fight and the fact that Valentina/Ivy's fight made you think of that, is just -- wow, amazing. Thank you so much! Oops. Sorry, I hope I didn't get you into trouble I was SOO nervous about writing for Poison Ivy, but I'm so glad you think I did that well! It's great to here it and hopefully others will share you opinion xD I've sent Poison Ivy on her path back to Gotham, it's up to Jack on whether of not he wants to have her but .... I think she'll pop up over there, sooner or later HAHA! I liked that act break. Thanks Amin, I love your Quotes of the Day xD OMG, thanks Amin for reviewing and that amazing rating! I'm so glad you enjoyed "Ivy" as much as you did, and hopefully I can keep up this same quality in upcoming episodes
