Sorry I've been M.I.A this week. My computer crashed early in the week and I'm just now getting to another one. All my work, including stuff for Trinity has been lost, as of right now. But there still may be a chance to recover it. *Crosses fingers* But, I really don't feel that bad about it, because I graduated from university yesterday, and I'm too happy to stress out about that. haha

Congratulations on graduating, Chris! That is awesome! -throws confetti- Sorry to hear about your computer, though. I know how frustrating that can be. If it wasn't your harddrive that failed -- and assuming it's a laptop -- you can get a kit to upgrade the harddrive to a bigger size (they're about $30) and use the cable it gives you to turn the harddrive into a mass storage device, hook it to the new computer via USB, and recover every single file on the old harddrive.

*Jumps up and down!* haha Thanks, Aimee. Well, I'm not sure if it was my hard drive or not. I think it had something to do with the operating system, because my computer seriously wouldn't let me log in. Well it did, but it would log out automatically, right after I logged in. It wouldn't even let me do it in safe mode, which was kinda scary. So, me being a complete idiot, decided to open up the computer and take a look at it myself... I ended up accidentally removing some card from the computer. I put it back in, but when I power the computer up, all I hear is a very bad sounding beep. And no, it's a desktop, not a laptop so --- *shutters* I think it's done for. haha. All my fault, really.

Oh, man. Lmfao. I dunno how to help you there. The only issues I know how to deal with when it comes to desktops is memory stick problems XD

The amount of computer problems I have had is pretty ridiculous. All have been with Windows/PC's. One of these days, I'm just going to completely switch over to Mac.

I've had problems with anything with the "DELL" logo on it. I got an ACER for Christmas, and it's been AMAZING.

I recently tortured my scrubbing brush into cleaning my carpet in exchange for the whereabouts of the purple banana that ate the eye of 18-year-old wife Bon Qui Qui.

Aimee does have this awful war with Dell...I don't seem to have any issues with them though.

Okay, I just have to say that I'm REALLY irritated right now with this bullshit that's been going on with Marvel and DC and the whole topic of "gay" stuff. And it's not just because I don't like DC comics. This stunt just seems ridiculous.
So, Marvel announced recently that Northstar is going to be marrying his boyfriend in Astonishing X-Men #51. It's the first gay marriage in a superhero comic book, and a huge step considering the popularity of both Marvel and the X-Men series. So then, here comes DC, making the original Green Lantern gay. A character that, from my knowledge, a lot of people do not care much about. So my problem here is that it seems the ONLY reason DC pretty much turned this guy gay was because they weren't getting the same publicity as Marvel. Not because there SHOULD BE more gay characters in comics, but because they aren't getting as hyped as Marvel is for it's pretty much unprecedented event. It really, really irks me.
I would go on a rant about "One Million Moms", but they've had so many failed campaigns that I don't consider them a threat at all. It's fun watching them fail, tbh.

DC is making all these decisions at the moment that they think are awesome and inspired but really they're just irritating the crap out of all their fans. I think the re-boot was one of DC's worst decisions ever and this whole "wow, look at us, we're making a gay character!" is just so stupid. Grow a pair and create a decent gay character DC or don't bother at all. I'm not even going to begin ranting about the treatment of some of my favourite characters by DC, just know that I am very, very annoyed with DC right now -_-

Yeah, I've heard that a lot of the fans hate the reboot and stuff. And now the whole gay character thing, I'm just like, wow. I can't imagine how I'd feel if I was an actual fan of theirs. I know I'd be pretty pissed off at Marvel if it was doing these things.

DC Comics decided to keep Smallville running in comic book form, so I can't be too angry with them now that I get to see Chloe back every month. But, yeah, the reboot pissed a LOT of people off. I think their intentions were good, but their execution was horrible. They changed too much - I hear more complaints about Superman than any other rebooted franchise in DC Comics. But yeah, the only comics I enjoy reading at the moment are from Batman, and I haven't read any new stuff from DC Comics in a long time. I hate their new logo. Like, ugh. But still... they win me over with having Batman under their belt. Without him, I probably would have nothing to do with them. Well, Batman, and Smallville. Well... Batman and Chloe Bad-Ass Sullivan! XD

I'm more disappointed with what they did to my favourite characters than anything. Tim Drake pretty much doesn't exist outside of Teen Titans (and in that he has horrible characterisation and is sharing the spotlight with a whole ensemble, don't get me started on the art) and Cass Cain doesn't exist at all! EDIT: Not to mention they got rid of Nightwing's blue finger stripes! So much sadness ;_;

Ugh. I hate when comics do things like that. Like, there is one specific X-Men writer that I cannot STAND because he writes Cyclops so badly. Cyclops is my second favorite character ever (second to Jean Grey, but she's dead for now, sooo) and he always gets screwed over. All the fans think he's a dick because of these horrible writers and it sucks because Cyclops is actually a pretty cool guy and he will do ANYTHING to make sure his team survives through anything and everything. As much as it sucks to say this, I didn't like Joss Whedon's version of him either. I mean, he wasn't as bad as the others, but I still wasn't that pleased with him. Not to mention, writers tend to favor Wolverine over Cyclops, and thus make Wolverine always into the awesome good guy and Cyclops is stuck as the "bad guy". -grumbles-
In short -- MJ, I totally feel your pain in the way writers like to screw over characters. XD

Lol, Aimee, yessss! That's exactly how I feel! Everyone's like 'Tim is such a dick in Teen Titans' and just sitting here going noooooo, he's just being written and drawn horribly!!! *wallows in fangirl sadness*

Aimee, I thought we agreed that Wolverine should never be mentioned on this forum, ever. Haha jks. But seriously, Wolverine annoys the hell out of me. Cyclops is definitely the better character, and I love how strong a leader he is. XD
I wish I could be all, "yeah, damn comics - screwed me over too!" but I haven't really been reading comics lately. The last comic series I read was a Catwoman/Poison Ivy/Harley Quinn one called "Gotham City Sirens" which was awesome, and I had no complaints. Haha. XD

Oh man, I got screwed over SO bad with the re-boot. So. Freaking. Bad. Red Robin needs his own comic, all the other Batboys have one. Actually, Red Robin and Black Bat in a comic together would be my dream. That's all I ask DC, all I ask! Oh, and get Marcus To drawing for it XD

-consoles MJ while erasing "Wolverine" from the board- Comic writers suck sometimes XD Don't get me started on this bullshit Marvel has pulled, erasing the 20-year-long marriage between Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson-Parker >_> That was the WORST decision Marvel has ever made -- more so than this Avengers vs. X-Men crap.
@jack - Cyclops is the best leader, ever, imo. He makes all the hard decisions so that no one else has to, even when he doesn't want to/they hurt him. I mean -- anyone who has read Phoenix Endsong would know that. -sighs- I hate writers...>_> -seethes in anger-
