Come on guys! Only a few days left on Jan MOTM. Let's see if we can get a few more entry's happening. Remember, you don't need to go all out with making this look like a pitch if you don't want to, I'll be judging based on your story and how well it follows the the prompt

I really love what you have so far, it's a great interpretation of the prompt and it sounds super interesting! I can't wait to see your summary of the storyline (Also, I know I said I wouldn't be judging on casting and such but I do kinda love that you cast Liam Neeson as the main professor XD)

I've been waiting excitedly for Bitten's premiere for ages now, Darrin, and I'm so happy I finally get to read it! I'm going to review as I read (because otherwise I tend to forget things) so you'll have to bear with me if my thoughts and conclusions are all over the place because this might end up as a stream of consciousness XD Review of Bitten 1.01 Full Moon Rising- Firstly, I'm liking Sara and Milo's interactions as brother and sister so far. Particularly her swinging the bag into his stomach right as his yawning, that just rings as so true for brother/sister behaviour. - Lol, the entire Will saving Sara scene all I could think of was Twilight XD Was that intentional or pure accident? - I'm loving Gwen so far, and more brother/sister interactions that I'm really enjoying. - Suave, Will. Ask a girl out and then bring up her dead mother. - Omg, this is the teaser scene you gave me for the January news. I can't remember if it ends badly. It feels like it might end badly... - Well, it ended bad for someone. Was that supposed to be really similar to the dream at the start? That's the vibe I was getting from it. - Lol, Jeremy, also lacking in the suave department. - "What? Wait, you know about that?" Haha, that actually made me laugh out loud. - Sara and Will, you two have to stop meeting like that XD - I could have sworn this scene was going to be a lovey-dovey first kiss but then, BAM, psycho wolf! - No! This is the dream scene! Holy crap. - I'm kinda glad Sara went the whole 'stay away from me and everyone I know route'. A much more realistic reactions than what is found in most supernatural stories these days - Will, for a werewolf you suck at not acting suspicious. - So much for only a few people at the party... - Oooh, magic Milo. Also, got so caught up in the fight scene I forgot to make comments, lol. - The dad knows stuff! That's a twist, was not expecting him to be in the loop. - Ha! Knew she couldn't be dead. Anyway, that's my stream of conciseness as I read through the episode, now let me try and give you some more concise feedback XD Overall I really enjoyed the episode, and the characters too. They were all introduced in a way that didn't confuse me or have me constantly thinking 'who's that again?' so good job on that. Only things that bugged me during the episode were the dialogue, on occasion, would get a bit repetitive or cliche, and the use of the word "mame" which I'm pretty sure isn't an actual word and should have been "mam" or "ma'am" (but correct me if I'm wrong, it could be a different country, different spelling thing XD). But moving on, I loved the storyline. It was really action packed for a pilot which was awesome, meant you had me hooked all the way though. It was also good story telling too, I never felt lost even though you were introducing a lot of elements and it was all just really good. I'm really eager to see what the next episode has in store, and if it's anything like this one I know I'm going to really enjoy it

I recently caught up on all The Walking Dead episodes. My cousin had all the episodes on his computer and gave them to us so my Dad, sisters, and I watched the whole lot in just a few days. I honestly loved it but then also didn't love it? I've read most the graphic novel issues for The Walking Dead so I was kinda torn between wishing they had stuck closer to the original material and loving the new characters and twists they added to the tv show so that I didn't know everything that was going to happen XD

Omg, Darrin, I would have picked Tyler Posey too, purely because of this (which took me ten minutes of searching through the posts I'd 'liked' on tumblr to find but so worth it):

First off, I've been waiting to get my hands on MOTM for a while now, Mwahahaha! Secondly, I hope you guys enjoy this one For the first MOTM of the new year I've decided to go back to what we at the VPN do best: Create and tell stories. Inspiration can strike at any time and be trigged by almost anything. The idea for my series Edge of Vision came to me after I was wasting time on a random story generator and came up with the result "This is a horror/drama. The story is about a psychic who is constantly opposing a murderer with demonic blood. It starts in a ghost town. The story begins with someone getting lost and ends with a funeral. It takes place in a large city in the future." Of course, Edge of Vision developed over time but you can still see how that odd little prompt was the foundation of the series overall. This is the inspiration for January's MOTM! Below I have listed 5 prompts from each category of the same story idea generator I mentioned above. Your task is to create an overview of a movie using one of those prompts! Rules/Guidelines1. What I would like to see you include in your overviews are: - A title for your movie - The prompt you chose - Main genre and secondary genere if there is one (eg. Fantasy/Comedy, Modern/Horror, Science Fiction/Action, etc.) - Character names and descriptions of all characters mentioned in your prompt, minimum (if you want to include more, go for it!) - A full summary/outline of the plot for your movie (can be written out in paragraphs or dot points and include all the major events in the plot) 2. I'll be looking mainly at writing, creativity of ideas, and if you used all the elements in your prompt when judging these so there's no need for casting or graphics. At most you could maybe have a graphic of your title, but even that's not really needed. 3. You need to use all the elements mentioned in your prompt. For example, if you choose prompt 1. "The story is about a sickly monk with non-human ancestry. It takes place in a school in a lost kingdom. The story begins with a birth. The return of an ancient evil plays an important part in the story" under the Fantasy category your movie would HAVE to include a sickly monk with non-human ancestry, have a decent portion of the story set in a school in a lost kingdom, begin your movie with a birth (either the opening scene OR have it as the event that is the catalyst for everything else that happened), and have the return of an ancient evil as an important aspect in the plot. 4. I will be giving extra points to people who attempt to create something for one of the more ridiculous prompts and actually manage to turn it into something awesome XD 5. These's no restriction on who can pick what prompt so if you really, really want to use the same prompt as someone else feel free to 6. Have fun! Fantasy 1. The story is about a sickly monk with non-human ancestry. It takes place in a school in a lost kingdom. The story begins with a birth. The return of an ancient evil plays an important part in the story.
2. The story is about a herbologist and a philosophical witch-hunter. It starts on our world after a disaster brought about the return of magic. The story ends with an apocalyptic event. Recovering magical artifacts and knowledge is a major part of the story.

It takes place in a hovel in a city-state. The story begins with an argument, climaxes with somebody breaking something important, and ends with someone being slandered. The effect of magical races on business is a major part of the story.

The story begins with a keepsake and ends with a critical injury.
2. This is an odd-couple-teams-up tale with a focus on predetermined destiny. The story is about a secret agent with big dreams. Omg, I think I saw like, 5 movies in the cinema this year? Anyway, the movies I saw this year, in no particular order, were: -Hunger Games -Dark Knight Rises -The Avengers -Rise of the GuardiansAnd I really enjoyed all of them If I remember any more that I saw I'll add them later XD
