Fast & Furious actress Gal Gadot has been cast as Wonder Woman in Batman vs. Superman. Variety has the scoop on the casting. The possible inclusion of Wonder Woman in the film has been one of the most buzzed about aspects of the hugely anticipated DC Comics/Warner Bros. project. “Wonder Woman is arguably one of the most powerful female characters of all time and a fan favorite in the DC Universe,” director Zack Snyder said of the casting. “Not only is Gal an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role. We look forward to audiences discovering Gal in the first feature film incarnation of this beloved character.” Gadot will of course join Henry Cavill as Superman and Ben Affleck as Batman in the film, which is a sequel to Man of Steel but is also being designed to broaden the DC movie universe. Recently, word on the street had been that Gadot was in the running for the role along with G.I. Joe: Retaliation’s Elodie Yung and Quantum of Solace’s Olga Kurylenko and that the trio of actresses had each tested for the part of the Amazon princess. Variety adds that “insiders believe the plan is to have not just Batman and Superman in the film but several members of the Justice League as well. It’s unclear which members, but Wonder Woman (Diana Prince) and the Flash are said to be locks to make an appearance in some fashion, whether that’s a significant role or a cameo.” Additionally, the studio is now moving on to casting the unnamed villain of the film. Zero Dark Thirty and 300: Rise of the Empire’s Callan Mulvey is said to be under consideration. Article from IGN

REVIEW: 3.03 "Taken"Well, that was a game-changing episode. This was definitely the best episode of the first little run you did. Fast-paced plot and some great character beats made this episode a great way to end this "trilogy" of sorts. My favorite character, obviously, is Helena, and to see her stick to her killing attitude is always awesome because it makes her such a complex, dark character that's a nice switch from the rest of the cast. I loved the fact that even she knows she's a horrible human being, and that she needs to die once all the criminals too. It's great she actually recognizes the horrors she's been committing, and when she kills an innocent person, she knows she must pay. And then - BOOM - Lisa comes in and goes hella apeshit and shoots everyone dead. That was the biggest shock of the episode for me. Their relationship is definitely getting more interesting, and I can't wait to see where it goes. Kyle is starting to integrate himself among the main cast, not in terms of meeting them, but in terms of the place he has. His relationship with Chloe reminds me of Batman and Oracle, and it's another thing I'm excited to see develop. Also, where Kyle's story goes with the League of Shadows, and how his weapon-ness comes into play. I really enjoyed Zatanna's inclusion to the episode. Her mind-wiping Two-Face has me intrigued as far as motive. Is she just protecting Helena, or is there something else to it? I'm looking forward to her popping up more! The conclusion of the internal struggle between Chloe and Talia didn't necessarily shock me, but I think it was an awesome move in terms of story. I'm a little confused as to Bruce kind of just went along with the whole makeout session, though. Did I just read it wrong? Anyway, I'm hoping to see more of Talia as Talia, if that makes any sense. Her Chloe mask is interesting no doubt, would just like to imagine Stana Katic playing the role. I liked how Alfred seems to be the guiding light in Bruce's life. He was really the driving force behind Bruce becoming the Batman, and I'm looking forward to see if he actually keeps up the role, or if he just pops up to show the people "he's still here". And his fight with Huntress was just great. Though, I think Huntress could have taken him if the fight kept on going... HAHAHA! Loved the fact we got some classic Batman moments. Two-Face was pretty good, and since the Arkham inmates were broken out, I can't to see how many more pop up - or will it just be Poison Ivy? Some great family moments between Barbara and Gordon definitely added a warming element to the script, and the Batsignal is always great. All in all, great episode! Like I said, definitely the best so far. Can't wait to see how the relationships are going to develop, the introduction to Nightwing in a couple of episodes, and to see how Talia binds all of these characters together. Keep up the good work, Jack! Oh. AND HELENA FOR THE WIN!

Just rewatched this today and enjoyed it even more the second time around. Really can't wait to see how they pull off the sequel, and where they'll go from there.
Anybody else seen this that hasn't already posted their thoughts in here?

Just to give a little update: hopefully a S2 trailer will be posted in the next couple of days, if not tomorrow. Would also love to have some more people jump on board and start reading the show! Shameless plug, sorry...

- This episode ends on one of the most shocking cliffhangers of the series. I really hope this has nothing to do with Helena because hopefully she'll be out of harms way. But in case you forgot about mine and her's engagement and she does end up in harm's way...

So I don't know if I can take this whole "getting attached to companions and then have them leaving" thing, HAHA! Ugh, Martha was so awesome and it was heart breaking to see her leave. Luckily I know she comes back in series 4!

- Lex Luthor (Smallville) - Amanda (Nikita) - The Weeping Angels (Doctor Who) - The Darach (Teen Wolf) - Katherine (The Vampire Diaries) - Malcom Merlyn (Arrow) - Marie Laveau (American Horror Story: Coven) - Sideshow Bob (The Simpsons)

REVIEW: 3.02 "Echo"This episode was a definite step up from the premiere! The pacing was a lot better this time around because all the basic plotlines were set up, and we definitely got some more development with these characters. A new character was introduced, Kyle, and I don't really have an opinion on him at the moment. I like him, and he seems very scared about who he is and how everyone wants to use him as a weapon, but I'm sure my feelings will grow by the next couple of episodes, if not the next one. This episode also reminded me why I love having Chloe in the spotlight, even though it is refreshing for her not to be! She's got that reporter's spunk that I just love so much about her character, and her relationship with Kyle has definitely got me intrigued. The "copycat" scene had me smiling, because we never really got to see Chloe and Lois in their early years on "Smallville" so it was neat seeing them. Plus all the callbacks with Bell Reeve and Alicia were interesting to read about. Two questions, though: will Alicia be returning or was this a one time role (I probably should know this...), and why has Chloe not been affected by Oliver's absence yet? I remember you saying how it has only felt like a day or two for her after he left, so I'm curious to see if that's going to get brought up. The Seven Sins gang and Huntress flying in like a total BAMF was awesome. Will that gang be tied to something else later on? Helena's interaction with Perry was a standout in the episode for me. I loved how Perry, after being through so much with Nabu and things like that, seems to be defeated by cancer, something so human. It just really echoed (hahahaha) how human these characters are and how vulnerable they can be. Hush's army still has me the most intrigued. Hopefully we get some more of this, because this dude is hella creepy! Another quick question: what happened to Zatanna's role? Was she not supposed to appear in the early episodes? I don't know if I just missed an announcement about her, but I'm curious to know what happened. So yeah, big step up from the premiere! We definitely hit the ground running in episode one, but now that all the storylines are in place and the flashbacks are occurring this season is definitely looking like the biggest one yet! Can't wait for the next one!

Thanks Brady for the review, It means a lot I see what you mean about the dialogue, I went back over it and patched it up. All though the be honest, I only found the word "bro" and "dude" in the first act at the party. It doesn't really show up anywhere else. I removed a lot of George's kiddo's and buds, keeping just a few. My bad then. Guess it was just in my mind when I was referring to "kiddo" and "bud". Not necessarily a problem with him wanting to do it, but with how it was all played out - Matt and Shannon just accept that he's, basically, forcing himself into their little circle. Just wasn't a fan, personally.

I finally spent the last two days catching up on Nikita, and holy crap it has definitely been a whirlwind of everything! I seriously love every single character they put on this show, and I don't think I've disliked an episode yet. There's twists, turns, awesome action and acting (Maggie Q and Melinda Clarke were robbed of Emmy noms last year, in my opinion) and just some straight up great writing. This has seriously become one of my favorite shows and it kills me that it only has five more episodes until it's finished.
One of the most underrated shows on the air, if you ask me.

REVIEW: Fallen 1.01 - "Homecoming"Just finished reading the pilot and thought I'd leave some thoughts! Your concept is definitely interesting. I've never personally read/seen anything to do with angels, so I was very curious to see your take on this. But right now, it could use a lot of room for improvement. The dialogue is very on the nose, and your characters read all the same except for Emily, who was probably my favorite from the pilot. They seem to say everything that is happening exactly when it's happening, and it comes off as dull and wooden. I would definitely recommend going back and rereading several of the character's lines and seeing if they sound like something someone would actually say. Also, the some of the plot points didn't necessarily make sense. The way George took the kids away from the questioning officer didn't really make sense to me. They weren't being held - it's standard procedure to question the people who actually witnessed the crime, and if I'm not mistake it doesn't necessarily matter if they're a minor unless they're under arrest. Also, the way Matt made the connections between the figure on the road and Jon's death didn't seem believable. I saw no real evidence that connected to two except for both being freak accidents. Characterization was also off, especially when Shannon confronts Matt about seeing Jon in her dreams. She cracked a smile? She just seemed too normal considering she witnessed her boyfriend die right in front of her. That's traumatic even if you didn't know the victim. Also, the siblings believed that they could talk to dead people way too easily. Cassandra bought Shannon's sob story too quickly and didn't make sense since they were in a secured area, and with this: CASSANDRA Oh by the way it looks like someone stole your boyfriends body And Shannon nods and smiles? And Cassandra didn't find that odd? Sure, Shannon was "just playing it off" but still. That's not something you hear everyday. The script is not very believable, even if it is a supernatural show. Pacing was also an issue. Once Shannon told Matt she believed him, everything from there moved way too fast. Scenes could definitely have been expanded upon, like how they gained access to the morgue so quickly. That could have been very interesting to read, and funny if you used Emily as the distraction for them gaining entrance. Also, how Cassandra knew of the examiner's death? That scene could have been added and helped the flow of the script. There also an excessive use of "bro," "dude," "bud," and "kiddo" for my liking. The whole climatic scene with Jon at the house doesn't sit well with me either. Matt easily just shot and killed someone he thought was alive, Justin just automatically assumes he's going to help Shannon and Matt discover what they are, and it ended very cliche with "it's only the beginning" and Jon immediately dying as he was about to reveal what they are. Just not a fan of that whole thing. I know it seems like there were a lot of negatives, but again, I think the whole angel concept is really interesting and I really liked Emily, just wish there was more of her. But I definitely suggest reading back over this and fix things so that they make sense. I would also get a beta reader who has the time to go over this with you pick out the small things I've mentioned. Best of luck with this!

REVIEW: 3.01 "Lazarus"So, we definitely hit the ground running with this premiere, didn't we? XD I'ts great to have Watchtower back, even if it is only for a short period of time, and being reunited with all of these character really made for an enjoyable read. In this episode we really saw the development these people have undergone and how drastically different they are than when we left them - and for the most part, it worked! I'm really intrigued by all the different plots that arose in the premiere - the Lazarus pit aspect, Selena's captivity, Gordon's injuries, the Hush "army". These all set up several mysterious and I can definitely tell there will more than likely be more to come. The Hush "army" aspect was what really caught me off guard the most, and I loved it! Can't wait to see how that unfolds! Hopefully there will be some answers soon! Now, onto the characters. Helena, obviously... well, we'll get to her later. Bruce definitely took a more prominent role than how we've seen him in the past, and it was a nice change for WT to let Chloe sort of dwindle out of the spotlight for a while. Though, having Chloe in it is great too. Now, I also really enjoyed the introduction of several characters - Barbara and Talia are the ones that come to mind immediately. Talia is very sexy, sassy, and she reminds me of Selina in a way, which is why I think you write her so well. Barbara, though, reminded me of Chloe and Vicki with her determination. I can definitely see her as a reporter soon, haha! Helena is obviously the best ever and we don't really need to get into her because I could seriously ramble for a while, so we'll just move on. BAMF - all I need to say. Though, with the one year time jump, I feel like there was some things lacking. I wasn't necessarily drawn to either of the relationships that were introduced to us through Vicki and Mitchel, and Helena and Lisa. The problems that arose I didn't necessarily care about, and while I'm not against it by any means, Helena and Lisa's relationship really caught me off-guard in terms of how it came about and why. Though, I'm sure that's definitely going to be answered later down the line. Also, the pacing in the beginning didn't sit well with me. This episode really had to set up a ton of plots and it all felt very rushed, but it definitely smoothed out as it went along. Yeah, so great premiere! It was great to be back in Gotham (haha, yeah right, that place sucks) and read some of my favorite characters again! And while I did have some issues, I'm sure everything will flow better for me when some explanation of things that happened over the one year gap begin to occur. But yes, I seriously can't wait to see where you take this season!
