It's always hard to watch Characters on T.V shows dies especially when the characters who happen to die are your favorites, Tell us your top #5 favorite T.V characer deaths.
Warning most likley contains heavy spoilers so if you don't want to be spoiled...don't read.

#5 Quentin Fields - One Tree Hill

It wasn't so much Q's death scene that effected me but how the other characters reacted to it and how far Quentin had come as a person, and the way during the funeral scene well everyone was being sad and crying, the way well Brooke was crying Jamie the five your old walked over and held her hand and tried to be stong for everyone else.

#4 Jonathan Levinson - Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Jonathan death was really sad he had come so far from being the high school loser, it always made me smile the way no matter how hard Jonathan tried to be evil in the end he was always did the right thing and even though he probably didnt realize it he saved the day countless time, and it was especially sad the way Andrew killed him in "Conversations With Dead People"

#3 Heny James "Jimmy" Olsen - Smallville

I knew it the moment he found out about Clark that something was going to happen to him I just didnt know what. It always makes me super mad when I watch the scene with Davis at the end, I mean come on this is a character who picked the worst people in the world to kill because of how guilt stricken it made him I still find it hard to believe. But I do love how much it effected Clark, Chloe and Oliver and were 10 episodes into season 9 and i'm still waiting for Lois to find out he's dead.

#2 Jo and Ellen Harvelle - Supernatural

Even though it's two people I counted it as one because they died moments apart, It affected me because the two had been on the show since the first episode of season 2, Supernatural is now on its fifth season, I had always hoped that after everything Jo and Dean would get togeather but sadly Jo was injured and decided to go out with a BANG, sadly she died moments before and her mother Ellen had to pull the trigger buying the brother precius time to get away from some very hungry hell hounds.

#1 Best death goes to - Keith Scott - One Tree Hill

Every single time I watch the episode it gets my eyes watery, I loved the way Keith went into the school knowing how dangerous it was and even after saving Luke and Peyton tried to save Jimmy from himself only to be shot by someone even worse.

I'll always remember that doctor that got crushed by a helicopter on ER. That was memorable. There's also Buffy's death in "The Gift" and Darla's when she gives birth to Connor.

Lana's fake death - Smallville
I realise it was fake. But it was still pretty dramatic.

In no particular order:

- Charlie Pace in Lost. The most moving death scene in the entire series, even beating Boone and Juliets.

- Angel in Buffy. Although he did come back in season 3, that death scene is still extremely sad.

- Dean in Supernatural. He may have been raised from Hell, but his death scene is still not easy to watch. Sam had to watch as he was ripped apart by a Hellhound, and then the final scene of him hooked to a never ending chain system in a green Abyss called Hell.

- Juliet in Lost. She didn't have an easy life. And he death was no different. After being pulled down into the hole and blowing up the nuke, she then died in the arms of Sawyer. Very moving. If only Kate could die now...

Boone in Lost. It's impact was felt throughout the whole Jack/Locke relationship and is one of the milestones of Jack's character arc.

Marissa Cooper from The OC. Also Wesley's death in "Not Fade Away" which was epic. Let's not forget Tara's death in "Seeing Red" as well.

5. Gaeta in Battlestar Galactica

From someone who was so full of passion and honour to later be so corrupted, it was an interesting end I would not have foreseen in season one.

4. Marissa in The OC

A touchy moment, that is sad as well as meaningful, but the character was too destructive and the writers had taken her her course and really left her with only one way out.

3.Carson Beckett in Stargate Atlantis

A sad moment, I almost shed a tear. It was sad to see him leave the series. But the series did ruin this moment by bringing him back in clone form.

2. Wash from Serenity

After the death of Shepherd Brook earler on you can't believe that someone else is going to die and the moment is pure brilliance. Although technically not a TV program, it was spawned from a show and Wheldon said it would have happened in the series.

1. Janet Fraiser in Stargate SG-1

A moment of true sadness. The fact you know someone has died but don't find out for half the episode is amazingly strong. I loved the character and she is sorely missed.

Alew death was a turning point in the series. It was such a emontinal moment in the series.

Jacks death in Lost. It was perfect. It was emotional and was a fitting end to the series. It began with him waking up on the island, and it ends with him closing his eyes, dying in the same place.

I always felt Kate's death on NCIS was really hard-hitting and emotional. I knew before I watched the episode that she was going to die but it still shocked me when it happened in literally the last few seconds.

Ill always remember Deans Death in the end of season 3 it was one of the best deaths in my eyes.

But my favorite will always be buffys death in the gift.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Fred's death in Angel? That episode almost made me cry. That was my favourite death scene purely for how well it was done. Wesley's death was heart breaking too.

Also, Juliet and Charlie's deaths in Lost were well done. When Juliet fell in I actually stood up and screamed "no"! Nonetheless, I startled my sister who fell of her sit in surprise!

Hmm...Bennett's death, in Dollhouse. If not my favorite character death, it was definitely the most shocking one I've ever seen. Joss Whedon is an evil man for putting us through that.

Carson Beckett's (Stargate: Atlantis) was so unexpected for me. I couldn't believe he got caught in that explosion and I was actually sad cause I didn't really think of him as a great character, of course until he was gone. And I agree with Rcoombes. Bringing him back as a clone kinda ruined it. I mean yeah, it was nice to see him again, but...if you were gonna bring em back like they did, why the hell did you kill him in the first place?

Carson Beckett in "Stargate Atlantis", I think, was the death that got me the most. And Prue's death in "Charmed" was also very sad. I also think Deep Throat's death in "The X-Files" was pretty sad. Oh... and how could I forget Lionel's death in "Smallville"... he had been such a prominent and cool character throughout the show, and then he... just died. That was so unbelievable for me.

I always felt Piper's "death" in Charmed was much sadder. When Prue is breaking down as Piper dies from the bullet wound always gets to me. Even when I know she lives.

One of my all-time favourite deaths is Lionel Luthors from "Smallville." Lex pushes him out of a window, and he descends from Luthorcorp building to his doom. The way it was shot, and the build up towards it was just epic. I like that moment where Lionel realises he's going to die, and then he accepts it - before Lex even puts a finger on him.
