Wow... I've been demonstrating remarkable reserve when it comes to "Teen Wolf", and I'm glad I did I waited until the entire 1st half of this season was complete before watching the entire run in essentially one go in a staggered marathon, because I knew once I started I wouldn't want to stop. Naturally, though, thanks to you guys and the Teen Wolf wiki, I DID keep up to date on what happened, so I went in knowing about Erica and Boyd, about Scott discovering his "True Alpha" status, Lydia being a Banshee, and Jennifer being the Darach, but even then, I wasn't disappointed. Certain things now make a whole lot of sense - when I first saw the new opening credits, I wondered why they had that shot of Lydia screaming, which now seems the producers/writers foreshadowing the revelation about her, but what I wonder is was she ALWAYS a banshee, or was it Peter's bite that triggered something in her? We know Jackson blamed Lydia for his rejecting the bite in S2, and that she didn't turn herself, was that the reason why? I also glad they finally explained just WHO that girl was in the premiere, that seemingly forgotten tidbit did irk me for a while until Ms. Morrell and Deucalion finally explained it. LOVED the developing relationships between Scott and his growing 'pack', not just of wolves but of humans as well, and now it seems Aidan and Ethan are sticking around, will Danny be brought into the 'know' later on? If Cora and Derek come back at some point, will Derek now be subservient to Scott, instinctively, like how the other Betas seems to be unable to resist Scott 'commanding' them? Oh, and Matthew, I think it was Ethan who went to find Lydia, since he was with Lydia already at the loft, and it was Kali threatening Lydia that made Aidan growl at her. Certain things still don't make sense - WHY did Jennifer/Julia pose as a teacher? I get she wanted revenge on the Alpha Pack, but why was it necessary to place herself among the gang every day - it felt like they couldn't decide who SHOULD be the Darach, so they made it the New Girl just for ease' sake, and not upset the 'Sterek' fans too much! Peter... hmm, well, I suppose he's ALWAYS been playing a long game, I mean, he DID plan out his own resurrection fall back plan, but I hope he still maintains that quirkiness that Ian Bohen does so well, even if he IS out and out evil, and a little power hungry. So, for the next half, Beacon Hills has become Sunnydale, Scott's father is sticking around, Sheriff S finally accepts the truth, Scott seems to be accepting that Allison and Isaac are growing 'closer', and the Argents have sworn to protect the town... but just what is coming their way?

MTV has renewed Teen Wolf for a fourth season. The cable network has picked up 12 more episodes of the supernatural drama, it was revealed Saturday at New York Comic-Con. Season four will premiere in 2014.
MTV also announced a new talk show, Wolf Watch, that will begin airing after new episodes of Teen Wolf when the series returns for the remaining 12 episodes of season three Monday, Jan. 6, 2014. The half-hour Wolf Watch will be hosted by Jill Wagner, who plays Kate Argent on the series.
Wolf Watch will offer more insight into Teen Wolf, touching on topics such as its mythology, romances and bromances. Guest appearances from the cast, as well as celebrity fans are expected.
The news comes following a strong first half of season three, during which Teen Wolf averaged 2.8 million viewers and a 2.5 rating in MTV's target 12-34 demographic, making it the most-watched and highest-rated season thus far.

Yay!! prefer the idea of a 12-episode season, hate the fact that the longer the season, the more inclined they are to split it into two on many different shows these days. "Wolf Watch" - ha, sounds like they're capitalising on the love for the show, like the 'behind the scenes' shows they do for things like Big Brother, the various celeb-dancing/skill shows and the like

Things I'm excited about for tonight's premiere:
- Scott McCall. He started out annoying. I didn't really like him. I wanted Stiles to just be the main character. I've since converted over to the "dark side"
- Kira Yukimura. Oh my god. Arden Cho is cute as a button.
- Anything involving Allison, Lydia and Isaac.
Things I'm not so excited for:
- The twins. Ethan and Aiden shouldn't be allowed in Scott's pack. They just shouldn't be there. I hope Scott isn't as forgiving for their part in Boyd's death.
- Stiles and Lydia romance angle. I hope the show doesn't go there just yet. I used to ship Stydia hard, but as time went on, I've really started to love their friendship even more. They need to do some more developing before I could support a romance between the two.
And yeah, that's kinda it. This season, it seems like the focus is going to be off of Scott and more on Stiles. And that kinda annoys me. -__- But I'm still glad the show is coming back.

DIVINE MOVEThe season finale of Teen wolf season three left me actually saying "What?" out-loud. The end reveal was shocking and somehow confusing. Did Derek black out for a split second while being shot?
SCOTT: What can I really say about Scott that hasn't been all ready said, I mean I feel like while watching him break down in Melissa's arms at the end of the episode was a different side of him we haven't seen yet was refreshing but at the same time, I feel like yeah. He's a leader, he's loyal and cares about the people around him to the point that he would willingly give his life for his friends. I don't know I feel like we didn't learn or really see any new sides from him. I would of liked him see him face his fear of going full Alpha on the Nogitsune's ass would of been pretty good.
ARGENTS: It's been a week and I'm still recovering from Allison's death, watching Chris fall apart at the beginning of the episode was gut wrenching, but watching him pull himself together in order to help Derek Hale of all people, was heart warming. That reveal at the end of the episode that Kate was still alive!!! I was like Oh.My.Fucking.God!? I was shocked, kill one Argent another comes back to life???
MALIA: It has been confirmed that Shelley Hennig will be replacing Crystal Reed as a new "series regular". I'm not sure how I feel as a fan of her's I'm thrilled but I thought Arden Cho would of been promoted considering how much screen time she was given. But I find it funny and sad at the same time, that finally Siles and Lydia are put into a great starting point for a relationship, and now as opposed to the past with Lydia always being in a relationship, while Stiles was kind of chasing her, now it's Stiles who has the girlfriend, but I mean after all the chasing after Lydia, Stiles did it would be nice to see it come around a little bit, but Malia I do enjoy watching as a character and think she would make a good female lead.
TWINS: I actually teared up a little with Aiden's death scene. It sounds a little bad but the only way I can still tell them apart is by their love interests. Lol. The whole gang coming together afterwards really hit me how hard this seasons has been on all the characters, I was even a little upset that the first thing Lydia did was run into Stiles arms, I felt all season like Aiden toke Stiles affection for "girlfriend" as a joke but that scene with Derek in the loft, when Derek is convincing the twins to stay and fight and Aiden thinks Lydia wouldn't leave Stiles, and the tone in his voice made it sound like Aiden considered Stiles as a opponent for Lydia's affection. But much like Allison I didn't realize how much I enjoyed the twins until they were gone.
DANNY: Danny Knows!? Which I don't know why that surprises me, I mean how many times does he accidentally walk by "conversations" Scott and Stiles are having, I mean his bestfriend is a werewolf, and wasn't it hinted at earlier this season he nearly died from consuming mistle toe because he wasn't human, and it's poisonous to supernatural creatures?

Surprised there's been no talk of Season 4. I won't be long, but can I just say how much I love the ladies this season. Braeden, Malia, Kira, Lydia... you all are flawless. New character dynamics like Liam and Scott, as well as Liam and Mason, are what made the season standout for me. The overarching plot of "The Benefactor" was a bit unnecessary. I would have liked it if they had just focused in on Scott vs. Peter. We got one scene at the end of the finale, and that was it. But oh well, what can you do.
Season 4 had no Allison Argent. It's heartbreaking, and I do miss her and I'm still bitter about her death, but the series does find a way to just roll on without her. Better than I imagined them doing, so that's something. Definitely wouldn't put season 4 above Seasons 1-3a, but it's a hell of a lot better than Season 3b.

Okay, I thought I'd post my thoughts regarding season 4 of Teen Wolf!
First off, I need to talk about MALIA FREAKING TATE. SHE IS AMAZING. I never expected her to be one of my favorite characters, but she's my second favorite on the show, right behind Stiles. I loved her development this season, going from wanting to leave Lydia and Kira in the desert due to her natural coyote instincts, to wanting to protect her entire pack. I also cannot get enough of Stalia (Stiles/Malia). Their relationship is absolutely adorable to me, and the fact that Malia is the big spoon kills me. BUT TO SUM UP, MALIA IS A BAMF AND DESERVES TO BE LOVED.
Other things regarding season 4... in bullet points. - the reveal of the Benefactor was a shock, even if the explanation was a little... weak, in my opinion. - Peter Hale still needs to die. Like... not just get locked up with a 3-eyed man, he just needs to be wiped from existence. - Scott has become one of my faves. I need to give that boy a hug. I had a revelation in an airport at 7 am and now I love Scott McCall. - Lydia needs to become more than just a plot device because her character has so much more potential. - LIAM DUNBAR SNUCK UP ON ME AND I LOVE HIM AND MASON - Kate Argent... yeah, sure. - Braeden is a BAMF and Draeden is fabulous. also, BRAEDEN FOR SEASON 5, PLS. - Stiles is always amazing, to me, even if some people treat him as if he's perfect. - I miss Allison... which is something I'd never thought I'd say. - THERE NEEDS TO BE A SCIRA DATE THAT DOES NOT GO TERRIBLY WRONG. - Malia Tate is perfection.
I think that's all... Let's see how they manage 20 episodes in s5. *prays it's not another 3B incident* lol

Not much to go on, but if looks like we're possibly getting Plague Doctors as villains. Which is pretty darn cool. Steampunk villains for the win! As always, I'm excited for this shows return. It's one of my favorites, even considering the problems I have with it. I can't seem to quit. My love for Scott McCall is too strong.

I wonder what direction they're going to got with Derek and what I can only assume will be his exit storyline, since Tyler H is only coming back as a recurring character? I mean, his shifting just went up a notch, right?

Also, NO MORE BOBBY FINSTOCK?! I only didn't think I'd be upset to see him go, but now, realising it, how much comedy he brought to the show, in his own weird way, I'll miss him!

A part of me wishes they never found a way to turn baby!Derek back to adult!Derek. Not that I don't love Hoechlin and his portrayal of the character, but his role in the show has seemed a bit forced since Season 3A ended. Not sure what they have in store for his sendoff. As long as Braeden can stick around with Derek, I'll be just fine. If not, it'll be pretty disappointing. I think Braeden's character is strong enough, or has potential to do a lot on the show, outside of being Derek's love interest. Went off on a tangent there. lol
The loss of Finstock just makes me wonder who they're going to replace him with. A few months ago, before the news broke about Hoechlin, I joked about Derek becoming the new assistant coach or Spanish teacher at the school. I think that would be so much fun, but I never get what I want. lol

I'm way too excited for season 5, ya'll. Dude, Lydia looks to have a bigger story than she was supposed to last season. I'm really excited for it! And just how awesome was that shot of Lydia, Malia and Kira all standing while the wind blows through their hair. I also saw Parrish. But if he turns out to be a Dragon, he will be called Parrish Targaryen.
