I know season two has just come to an end, but I'm so obsessed with this show, I'm already thinking about season three. Here are a few things I'm hoping for next season.
- There will be a time jump from S2 to S3, so with Allison leaving Beacon Hills, I guess she'll be back in the first episode of season 3. If so... I really hope the Scott/Allison thing isn't jumped right back into. Not that I don't like them (well... I really don't actually) But I think them being together gets in the way of their characters as individuals. So, let them break up and stay broken up for a while. I have no doubt they'll be endgame for the show, but I think the audience needs a break as much as they do.
- I'm a Stydia shipper, all the way, but it's just not the time for those two. Don't know when it will be, but Lydia loves Jackson. *coughs* I don't see why. *coughs* I know it doesn't take a short period of time to get over somebody, but I don't want to see Stiles just as much as in love with Lydia as he is in season two. He'll always love her, but I want to see some kind of evidence that he is slowly getting over her. Not that they'll never have their time, but because that time is not yet here. I would hate for Stiles to be miserable the entire season because Lydia doesn't love him the way he loves her. That would just be sad.
- Jackson... please don't be a douche. Well... I think it's impossible for him to NOT be a douche, but at least, next season, after being reborn, come back with some kind of likability. Peter Hale, a character I HATED, came back with some kind of likability. Does his character have a purpose for being on the show? Not really. But at least he provides much needed sarcasm when Stiles isn't in the room. So, he can stay for that reason alone. Just don't go all crazy again. Been there, done that? Ya know? It's probably inevitable. Back to Jackson -- I seriously don't know how so many people like him. It's so crazy to me, but whatever. lol
- Lydia needs to be part of the show. Now that she knows about werewolves, I really want her to contribute to the good fight in a way that doesn't involve her being possessed or the "key" to saving the day. I hope for some real input from her character that further establishes her as a character in this universe.
- Chris Argent. You were awesome in the finale. Keep it up. Don't turn back into your regular werewolf hunting self. I think with this new Alpha Pack in town, the hunters will have no choice but to team up with Derek, Scott and the rest of them to take them down.
- I've read that Stiles and Scott's friendship will be a bit strained in season three. I think that will be because of Scott's friendship will Isaac, which I think is awesome. Isaac is one of my favorite characters. Really don't know why, but I think he has the potential to be a really interesting character. That being said, I think it would be cool to explore Stiles' desire to be more helpful to the group, since he does not think he is a hero (In my opinion, he's the hero of this story, lol!) But since he can't really turn to Scott, perhaps he turn to Derek. No, I'm not one of those Sterek romance shippers, but I think their interactions are some of the best parts of the show, and I'd really like to see more from them. I don't even think I want them to be actual friends, because their contempt for one another is just too funny. But it would be cool if their relationship grew into one where they, at least, respect and understand one another. Kinda like the relationship between Spike and Angel. While they could not stand one another, they had some kind of understanding, and at the end of the day, could sit down and have a serious conversation without one wanting to kill the other.
- One last thing... my Teen Wolf OTP -- Mama McCall and Papa Stilinski. They need each other! They deserve each other! Their both single. Their kids are practically brothers already... why not make it official? Huh? I just love those two! I want them together. HAHA!
