I think having 24 episodes can go either way; good or bad. I'm hoping the producers have a good handle over the story, and not just use the increased episode count for a bunch of mediorce filler episodes, like Supernatural.

I've always been a lover of filler episodes though - Buffy had some great ones during its high school years and I'm sure this show can do them too. I'm just excited to get Scott and Isaac back on my screen though, those two and their friendship were easily my favourite things about Season Two.

Okay, I'll give you that. When it's done well, than it can be great. And yeah, I loved those two, and I've heard we're getting even more of them next season. So excited about that

I think I remember reading somewhere that Jeff Davis was going to approach the 24 episode season like he was writing two 12 episode seasons, so there may not actually be as much filler as you think there would be in 24 episodes.

I really don't like Scott as a character. Maybe it's just Tyler Posey's acting, because I crack up every time he runs to Derek's house and screams. Like, it's not even a scream. But I just really don't like Scott so far, sad to say. Stiles and Derek are great though!

The other day I was thinking, do we know Mr. Argent's first name? Than I realized it was Chris, but now I realize it's Sheriff Stilinski's name we don't know. Technically they have never said Coach's name either, but it's Bobby Finstock, according to Wikipedia. Lol. Just thought I would point that out for some reason.
On another note, I love season three so far, especially "Fireflies" I thought it was one of the best episode maybe since "Night School" seeing all our characters running around like actual Heroes, and Stiles taking the lead in trying to solve the strange things going on in Beacon Hills, for some reasons he reminded me so much of his father in this episode, and I have a feeling Sheriff Stilinski is going to uncover the truth this season, but it better not turn out all James Henry Olson on me!! I'll be super pissed. I keep thinking he will add more conflict by finding out the truth unlike, Melissa McCall and Chris Argent, he doesn't have a child directly involved, I mean Stiles is involved but he's not a werewolf of hunter. Unless he decides to keep the secret to protect Scott.

But I just really don't like Scott so far, sad to say. Stiles and Derek are great though! OH MY GOD. Brady, you're actually watching this show!? I'm floored. I didn't like Scott's character the first time I watched the show either. He gets a little better in season 2, and he's just freaking AWESOME so far in season three. However, with a rewatch, I began to enjoy Scott as a person a lot more. Tyler Posey has really grown, acting wise, as well. They all have really. Stiles and Derek were my favorite characters of season one. Stiles is still a favorite of mine, but I'm also really beginning to love Allison and a character named Isaac, who you won't see until season two. I really like season three so far. The premiere introduced a lot of new things in terms of both plot and character, and I think we're gonna get a lot of interesting developments this season, with the Alpha Pack, and this new "virgin-sacrifice" storyline that's just been introduced. *I fear for Stiles so much. He's the last remaining "human" virgin on the show. lol I can't believe this is actually a thing.
3x02 "Chaos Rising" is probably my favorite so far. So many people are saying 3x03 was better, and maybe the BEST episode of the series, but I'm sorry... I just wasn't impressed. The episode felt like it was trying to hard to be complex, and the main plot felt really drawn out. But still, I'm interested in seeing where this all goes. Based on the preview for next week's episode, it's gonna be a good one.

Okay, so I have two more episodes until I'm fully caught up with the series, but omg, I do not like Allison anymore. I actually enjoyed her character in S1, but then Gerard (who, in my opinion, is one of the least scariest villains, like, ever) decides to show up and manipulates the crap out of her. Add that onto the already semi-manipulation from her parents in S1, and omg... she is just so utterly clueless, I can't even. And then we get to the part where she basically maims Eric, Boyd, and Isaac, and doesn't even feel remorse afterwards. I really, really don't even care what kind of circumstance she was in, could she seriously not see past her grandfather's manipulation? That was just nonredeemable, in my opinion. OH. And then we get to the good part where, Scott forgives her, and then she f*cking breaks up with him. wat. WAT? She is seriously such a weak character, to me, and I just... don't like her anymore. She's probably my least favorite character, at the moment, and unless she has some super redeemable qualities this season, she'll probably stay there. I just find her extremely annoying. AND ANOTHER THING. I really didn't like how underutilized Erica and Boyd were in S2. Every time they would show up, especially Erica, they would easily get thrown to the side and like... get knocked out. Erica was actually really interesting for me, I really liked her attitude since Derek changed her, BUT NOPE. She just got beat up every single time she was on screen. I know she comes back in episode 2 or something, and... <spoiler> dies <spoiler> but hopefully she'll come back, because... how can someone with her attitude not kick some ass? But regardless of my qualms (MAINLY ALLISON, OMG) with the series, I'm still really enjoying it. Scott's grown on me, and Stiles and Derek are still pretty great, even in Derek kinda did a major 180 at the start of S2. Lydia's honestly just messed up in the head, like, majorly, because of all the crap she's been through, but I enjoy her for that reason. Chris Argent is my favorite Argent, since all the others ones are LITERALLY STOOPID. And yeah, that's my two cents so far.

I can't believe you're almost caught up! haha! I told you this show was addicting! I can't even blame you for not liking Allison, because I could not stand her the first time I watched season 2. But like, Scott, after rewatching, I really began to see her in a different light, and I think she's just amazing so far in season three. Yeah, Allison has made mistakes, but so have a lot of other characters, like Derek (who I still love, btw) and I think people may be going a bit too hard on her sometimes. But anyway, I hope you enjoy the first three episodes of season three, and it'll be awesome to hear your thoughts on future episodes, as they air.

As much as her mistakes led me to not liking her, the main reason I really, really can't stand her, is the way she reacted after the whole thing happened. She was just like "Oh sh*t, I made a huge mistake, so I'm just going to break up with my boyfriend and move to Europe for four months." And it felt like she had no remorse for almost killing several werewolves, who, correct me if I'm wrong, never really hurt anyone (besides Erica stabbing Allison in the leg with her claws). I don't know, I just... don't like characters that can be manipulated easily, which is why I didn't like Lydia when Peter was messing with her head, but then I realized she never really hurt anybody. Well, there is her birthday party, BUT SHE WALKED AWAY LIKE A BAMF. Anyways, Allison just really had no motive to kill every werewolf since she was mad at Derek.
Dang, I typed a lot more than I thought I did.. Oh well. TIME TO GO CATCH UP ON MORE TEEN WOLF.

I been loving the season so far and it gets really interesting this Monday coming. I can't wait. I really hope Derek survived that attack against that female alpha--whatever her name was.

^^ I'm pretty sure he will survive. Jeff Davis can be a heartless bastard, but I doubt he'd kill Derek off in episode 4. lol

I don't know how it happened, but my favorites on this show have totally taken a major shift from when I first started watching. Throughout seasons one and two, my favorite characters have been Stiles, Lydia and Derek. I couldn't stand Scott. I couldn't stand Allison. Now... it's ridiculous, because my favorites have got to be Scott, Allison, Isaac, and Stiles. I think Stiles will always be a favorite of mine, but I really can't decide on if I put him above the others, or right next to them. Don't get me wrong, I still love Lydia, and I'm still a fan of Derek. But the others have really stepped up. I'm obsessed with this show. For proof, I have a Tumblr blog dedicated to my obsession with Teen Wolf -- www.teenxwolfobsessed.tumblr.comBut season three has been pretty good so far. Tattoo was a good season premiere episode. It set up everything pretty well, showed us where the characters mindsets are after a four month time jump and established the new story well. Chaos Rising, I believe, was the BEST episode of TEEN WOLF to date. Fireflies was very lacking. A lot of the main plot dragged, but the side plot brought it up. And the latest episode, "Unleashed" was the second best episode of the season. Very solid, so far.

I agree with what you said Chris. "Chaos Uprising" and "Unleashed" are clearly the season's best episodes as of now. I'm really starting to like Issac. He was a knockout character last season, and this season he is starting to grow on me as a fan favorite.
