Jack......this news is so depressing. But in a way.....Im happy that Perry's storyline is going to be done tastefully this season and that Earth-2 is a big part of the mid-season Its going to be really sad that Perry has to give up WT. WHY DO YOU TORTURE ME SO? I MEAN HE JUST GOT WT LAST SEASON. I swear I'm coming after you if Perry from Earth-1 dies and Perry from Earth-2 takes his place!!! For the earth-2 episode....will we be seeing everyone from the cast? Or just Chloe, Clark, and Davis? Perry has a really jam-packed story arc this season, and there's a lot to look forward to for him, his relationship with Chloe, and of course, where he's headed as The Daily Planet's Editor-in-Chief. With Earth-2, I wanted to visit it to do this sort of "what if Davis is the hero of this world?" storyline, considering Clark was evil, but I'm not a huge fan of one-offs. So I found a way to incorporate Earth-2 into the big mid-season build up, and I'm really excited about it. As for characters we'll see, you probably won't see/hear of Helena, Kyle, Vicki, and Gordon, however, Bruce and Perry will pop up or at least be mentioned. XD The interesting aspect of the Earth-2 episode, for me, will also be having Chloe's counterpart in our world, and cutting back and forth between these two characters in their "other" worlds. While Chloe has gone through a lot, her Earth-2 counterpart has certainly exceeded her fair share of tough times, from a much earlier age, as well, and so she's a lot darker, and grittier than our Chloe Sullivan. To keep things relevant, Chloe will learn about her counterpart's history and character, which kind of paints a picture of what she could become if she makes certain decisions, and so its not going to be much of a one-off thing. Especially considering who will be a part of the mid-season finale. XD

So, Perry's leaving, and, honestly, I'm sorta okay with that... >.> I KNOW, I KNOW, I'M SORRY. -throws confetti to make it all better- But I'm still excited for his story, but not as much as... -drummroll- New mission statement for the season: make Perry one of Brady's favourite characters, and then snatch him away just when it happens. *evil laugh* His story this season is kind of- well, first you'll be shocked, then you'll scared, then heartbroken, then you'll be relatively okay and fine, and everything will be looking up, and then heartbreak one final time. Hahahaha. Well, that's if I can complete my new mission statement. XD This is really going to be her season, I think. I've got a lot planned for her, and she's certainly got a lot more in her life now, and more characters to interact with. We'll learn that taking someone's life, and losing Guido, has had a h uuuuuuge effect on her, and especially after what happens in the premiere, she's not going to be a very happy camper, especially towards the gang. I wish this wasn't my damn HSC year, because I've never been more excited about writing Watchtower, but I just can't find the time to get it done as quickly as the last two seasons, and ugh -.- I'm hoping to have the premiere done soon, and just like last season, will air it as soon as its done, purely because it sets everything up for the season, and yeah. Will get things rolling, and get me even more inspired to write! XD

Dear Jack Malone, SO long as nothing happens to Alfred or Holly. I wont have to smite you down for being evil. Because although she is in only two episodes, I LOVE HOLLY. She is perfect and I was SO glad that you had her in Season 2 . Speaking of sidekicks.....I really hope Mia will return. I miss that beautiful brunette . And i really want to know whats going on with her!!!

She is perfect and I was SO glad that you had her in Season 2 . Holly is in a substantially lower number of episodes because Selina isn't around full-time this season. In the premiere, she'll be back, and just like she kickstarted the "Hush" storyline in the finale, she'll let us explore that a little more to help open that back up for the season. Something bad will happen, but not necessarily death. *starts running* Its kind of funny you should ask that, because I was just thinking up a story to bring her back onto the show. More on that later, though.

And I HOPE that she doesnt betray Selina or else I will come and destroy you Mr. Malone!!! AND THAT MIA IDEA SOUNDS FANTASTIC . I would love to have her back. Especially considering you can bring her back to WT in a recurring spot!!!

They parted ways at the end of it, and I had no plans for her at all to be in the rest of the season- especially not this Hush storyline. But, because I had so much fun writing for her, I just incorporated her into more and more scenes, and once I found out you guys enjoyed her, and the Holly/Selina stuff so much, I kept her around. Now, it will make perfect sense why she's involved in the Hush storyline and I'm really excited about it. XD Hahaha, I'm very "damned if you do, damned if you don't" with you, aren't I, Karl? Hahaha. As for Mia, well, I think it would be kind of nice to have her pop up again sometimes this season, but I'm definitely looking at having her rejoin the main cast, if not as a regular, but an important recurring character, for the fourth season. Depending on whether or not I can ever get this season written, but yeah, she will definitely be a part of a season four, and hopefully, I can find a way to bring her in for an episode this year.

Yes you really are Jack. I cant believe that you would toy with Holly's life like that. She is my favorite. With Mia being my NUMBER ONE I was wondering if you would ever give Chloe a protegee. I really hope i spelled that word right Because if so....I have someone!!!

Exclusive: Erica Durance Teases Role in the Season Three Premiere!
The fans have been dying to see Erica Durance's "Lois Lane" surface in Gotham City, and now, the writers have delivered, and it won't be for a minor, cameo appearance, according to the actress herself, who told VSGuide that, "Lois plays a very large, and very significant role in the episode." Speculation prior to the interview claimed that the character would be in one or two scenes, sharing 0 moments with former co-worker, and series star, Allison Mack (Chloe Sullivan), which didn't sit nicely with fans. Durance is here to crush that speculation, and much like her character, unveil the truth.
"There's a clear beginning, middle, and end [for my character] in the episode," Durance reveals, excited about her arc in the premiere, "she isn't there to just stand over a tombstone, or get answers and go home. She has a very strong purpose, so I think the fans will be very happy." One thing that fans certainly will be pleased about is the actress' confirmation of working with 'Smallville' co-worker, Allison Mack, despite the character's current status of "deceased". "Allison [Mack] and I share a few scenes together." Whether or not those scenes are set in the present, or flashbacks to the past, Durance said, "I can't answer that without giving too much away, but I will say that you'll get to see progress on the Chloe/Lois relationship that fans loved so much on Smallville, and that's the most important thing." Whether that progress is finding out the truth, and coming to accept it, or being reunited, face-to-face, we'll just have to find out when the premiere airs.
However, while clearing up false speculation, the actress also confirmed some speculation, which claimed she spent most of her time filming with Michael McKean (Perry White). "Most of my scenes are with Michael [McKean]," she acknowledged, telling VSGuide that the two will be playing off one another in a number of scenes throughout the episode, "she wants to fill in the missing pieces of Chloe's life after Smallville, and Perry is her main source of information for that." But fret not- Lois' search to learn about what the audience has been seeing for two seasons now won't be a repetitive recount straight from Perry's mouth, as Durance reveals, "Chloe kept a series of logs that you'll get to see as Lois comes into possession of them."
The only bad news we could find is that you won't expect to see Lois in the middle of all the action. While Bruce works to bring her cousin back from the dead- with Helena and Zatanna set to get involved at some point too- Lois doesn't share the same desire. "For the past two-three years, Lois has been convinced that Chloe was dead, so she isn't in denial, or reacting from fresh wounds" Durance reminds us, telling VSGuide that the character only wants to put the puzzle together, not change the pieces laid out. "She knows what altering the past and changing fate can do." But what will her reaction be if Chloe were to come back? "She'd be the first to run in and hug her, that's for sure!"
Excited to see Lois on 'Watchtower'? Do you think we'll see a present-time Chlo-Lo reunion? Sound off below!

Jack....I literally squealed . I am so ready for Lois to be in that premiere!!!!! Now all we need is a Clark appearance. And I'm also glad that you don't have Lois in the middle of the action. And I can't wait to see her scenes with Perry

I don't mean to be rude or anything, but I think that if Clark were to come back, it wouldn't be Watchtower anymore, it would just be Smallville. Clark had his run as a main lead, and I think bringing him back would sort of push Chloe aside. Again, I don't mean to be rude

Jack....I literally squealed . I am so ready for Lois to be in that premiere!!!!! Now all we need is a Clark appearance. And I'm also glad that you don't have Lois in the middle of the action. And I can't wait to see her scenes with Perry The way the season premiere ends for Lois' arc, kind of makes me want to keep bringing her back in a recurring role. But, everything is so jam packed this season for the characters, I'm not sure if its possible. But, I would like to do an episode where she's more herself, because we don't get to see all sides of the character I love under the circumstances. As for Clark, we'll see Earth-2 Clark in "Mirror", of course, and like I said, there's two episode ideas I have for him. One is set for the very, very final season (S5), which is the ten-year reunion of Smallville High alums, and the other revolves around a "Batman v. Superman" face off kinda one, where's Supes has obviously been under some kind of control- whether it be redK, or magic compulsion, etc. I don't mean to be rude or anything, but I think that if Clark were to come back, it wouldn't be Watchtower anymore, it would just be Smallville. Clark had his run as a main lead, and I think bringing him back would sort of push Chloe aside. Again, I don't mean to be rude The main reason I never wanted to bring Clark into the show was mainly because he's a god compared to all these other characters- he could blur in and destroy Emil's experiments in S1, clearing the threat. He could blur in and expose Falcone in S2, and even lock The Joker up. On the other hand, I've had to come up with reasons why he isn't helping out. We'll find out the specifics in the season premiere- it has more to do with Gotham, than Superman's status- but previously, there'd be hints to him not being on the planet anymore, and being somewhere else entirely, and little things like that so we don't have this, "Well, Superman could just rock up and solve this in a couple of seconds." And then, if I did bring him on the show, I wouldn't want to, you know, throw Green K at him so Chloe and the rest of the team have to do the dirty work so "conveniently". This season's threat could probably give Clark a run for his money, to be honest. I think, if Clark were to rock up this season, Hush would have a pretty great chance of beating the crap out of him, HAHA. But yeah, so far I've been able to work around the whole, "where is Superman when you need him?" issue, but eventually he'll be on the show (like I said, I have TWO episode ideas for him), and specifically, in this premiere, we'll learn why Gotham is Superman-free.

Can't wait!
Speaking of 'Mirror', I know you said that we might not get to see/hear of Helena, but I would love to hear at least a little bit. Maybe, if you're planning a season 3 vdvd, you could put it in as a deleted scene?
