Awesome spoilers, Jack! After the one about Chloe and her new look (black hair and glasses) my mind drifted a bit, so I had to re-read the entire scoop. lmfao! But oh my god, you sure do like killing off characters. I wonder where you get that from... lmao! And Helena/Perry interaction sounds very interesting. "Echo" sounds awesome. Can't wait for it!! XD Hahaha, well I didn't have anything mapped out for those two at all, but I just broke the episode down, and it just naturally came together, and so I decided to just go with it. There hasn't been much Helena/Perry stuff throughout the series, and with this being his last (if only just as a regular character), then I think its a good opportunity to move him around the board a little more than we're used to. XD Mate, could not pass the opportunity to have Chloe rockin' that getup, hahaha. Ugh! What's kind of funny is she's in a similar place she was in the very beginning of the series, only this time, she actually died. At the mid-point of the whole series, kind of closing one chapter off and starting a new one, I really want to look at Chloe, and see how far she's come, and look at where she's headed, and this season launches her in the trajectory of finally realising where ultimately five seasons of WT, and 10 seasons of Smallville have taken her. So I'm really excited about that. Its kind of a crisis, though, in that she doesn't know where to go, what the right path to go down is, and without destiny interfering, and telling her "this is what you should do", its a lot harder for her. This "disguise" buys her more time to figure that out.

Whoooooa. Duuuuuude. THESE SPOILERS. I'm super excited to see how Chloe and Kyle are connected, like OMG. I need to know. Anyways, Perry and Helena? Whaaaaaaaaat? Sounds like it could be fun, but since Helena's in it, it's so going to be awesome. And Chloe sporting that new look? Um.... You're going to be making promo images for that right? Because that would be AWESOME to stare at for a while... anyways.
I'm totally going to ignore that someone else is going to die because I CAN'T HANDLE THAT. Looking forward to an awesooooooooome season (can't say that enough, can I)!

^Hahaha, I'll definitely think about it. XD Helena and Perry uniting in this episode kind of hits an emotional beat of their storylines that wouldn't have as much impact had they not crossed paths. So I'm kind of happy it fell into place the way it has (which just came out of planning out their role in the episode, then seeing accidental parallels and forging it together to the make the "C" story). I've stupidly already started writing the episode, despite needing all the time I've been given these holidays to study for exams, but I'm just getting as much done tonight before I have to crash. As for Kyle/Chloe, as I said to Karl the other day, there will be a lot of speculation about how they know each other, and what their past is, but we won't officially uncover it until the mid-season finale, "Sacrifice". There's a bit of a twist involved, and some backstory to jump back into, so I'm excited to get to that point. The build up should be fun too

Spoilers for "Echo" UPDATED 4/7/2013 - This episode is said to serve as a "part two" to the season premiere. Whether they will air separately or together is yet to be determined. Some mysteries and unanswered questions from the premiere are explored and answered in this episode. Producers told VSGuide, "both episodes effectively setup the season." - Chloe is sporting a new look this episode, with black hair, and glasses. Looks like she'll be taking a note from Clark Kent, as producers tell us, "Chloe is trying not to be selfish in her return from death, determined to keep it a secret from those she cares about." This episode deals with ghosts of her past, as she weighs up life as a reporter, as Watchtower, as a mother, against all the tragedy she's brought into people's lives. By the end of this episode, she will have decided what path to embark on. - The episode features a sub-story with Helena and Perry which involves a growing crime mob in Gotham City, referred to as "The Deadly Sins" (as there are seven members). This marks one of the few times their storylines have joined them together. - Chloe stumbles across Kyle at the League of Shadows base, where she discovers they've both been kidnapped as "instruments" against Ra's Al Ghul. However, when a mole is found within, Kyle is utilized sooner rather than later. - Gordon plays a large role in this episode, as he reopens the missing persons case on a quest to uncover Hush's agenda, and save the missing people of Gotham. - Alona Tal guest stars in this episode as "Holly Robinson." The character, who was kidnapped in the Season Two finale, is said to play a huge role in the quest to find Selina Kyle this season. The fan-favourite is confirmed to appear in both "Lazarus", and "Echo", and, understandably will appear throughout Eliza Dushku's returning arc. - Bruce and Vicki's friendship suffers a massive blow. - Two main characters share a kiss. - Despite recent speculation, Talia Al Ghul does appear in this episode as well. - Another character dies in this episode. Jack...can I just say that these new spoilers arê the SHIT I honestly can't wait to see how Chloe's new getup will effect everyone else when they find out that she isn't blond anymore And also...Bruce and Vicki I'm honestly not okay with the fact that there relationship is going to hit a snag And can I just say....Holly is a character I'm going to miss a lot

if people need to get used to Chloe not being a blonde bombshell anymore... they should check Allison Mack out in "Wilfred"! Saw a piccie of her sporting a dark brown bob, I nearly choked!

@karl: The disguise may not necessarily be something that everyone will see, and may not exactly be permanent, but its a pivotal aspect of Chloe's storyline, coming out of this resurrection, and trying to figure out where to go from here. Its kind of a physical embodiment of that transition she's stuck between of choosing to return to her old life, or start fresh (her presence in Gotham is old Chloe, and her appearance is the new). As for Vicki/Bruce, Bruce is starting to see qualities in Vicki that remind him of Chloe, and he's scared because he can't put himself through what he did to bring Chloe back again, and he's scared she's heading down that same path, so its going to create a strain in their friendship when you've got Vicki wanting to run off, and get involved in dangerous stuff to make a difference and save Gotham, and Bruce knowing where that could lead to, trying to stop her. Its a clash. As for Holly, I haven't decided whether or not she'll leave with Selina, and I think this storyline will kind of decide that eventually for me, whether she can stand on her own, or is a supporting character for Selina, solely.
@alex: I was a fan of "Wilfred", and was pretty excited when she came into it. Amanda was perfect for Ryan, but then they did that stupid plot twist in the finale, and she was bonkers!crazy, and ruined it aaaaall. -.- *bitter* hahahah

So, that trailer was insaaaaaaaane, and when I say that I mean insanely awesoooooooome! xD It's really got me even more pumped for season three (didn't even know that was possible), and it's also got me curious as to WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON? So, we've Bruce being announced DEAD, Alfred ARRESTED, and Helena GOING TO KICK BOOTAY. The Helena part of the trailer was probably my favorite, obviously, and this Lisa chick... I need to know how she fits into the mix. Don't know how I feel about her yet, we shall have to see. Oh, and that scene where Helena was bloodied and stumbling towards Lisa? Yeah... my heart. MY. HEART. I don't even want to think about the possible outcomes of what happened there. But the end of the trailer "we're already there." *dead* And I almost missed Lois' scene, but luckily I didn't want the trailer to be over so I kept scrolling, and ugh, it was AWESOME. So, to sum up, me. super. excited. bye now.

Holy Shit Balls Jack That was a fantastic trailer and scene I loved that the trailer basically showed Helena being a bamf. And I also loved the ending but with Lois And as for the scene. I love Talia and her attitude. It's exactly how I would picture her if she showed up on smallville

Jesus Christ, Jack! Could Watchtower get any more amazing?!?? Loved both the trailer and the preview scene. So excited to see Lois guest star. She's a character I'm sure you'll handle quite well! And Talia Al Ghul seems amazing so far! I'm soo ready for... just about anything and everything that's coming up in season three! HAHA! Nice going Jack. You've given us a tiny taste of the new season, but the premiere is still so far away. You're such a tease. LOL

So, to sum up, me. super. excited. bye now. Lisa's going to be around for most of the season, and I'm not too sure how the reception about her character is going to be. She's like the Holly to Helena's Selina, if that makes sense. They've become really good friends in this past year, and its a dynamic that is quite dysfunctional, in that, she doesn't support Helena's vigilante agenda she's undertaken recently which is to kill the corrupt, rather than arrest/stop/try to change them. She knows that Helena is going to get herself killed on this vendetta, and its put a strain on Lisa because she's torn between standing by her friend, or abandoning her because watching her die, and losing her will hurt her too much. Speaking of Helena, there's a lot going on in the premiere (and the whole season) for her. As well as that, we're going to be introduced to her significant other who kind of grounds Helena and keeps her sane after everything she's been through. She takes on the mission of breaking Alfred out of jail, as we saw in the trailer, and we're also going to figure out a secret she's been keeping from everyone. So there's a lot of setup here for her. I'm just glad to be writing for Huntress again. She's more kickass than ever now that all the cards are off the table. XD As for why she's bloody, someone is dying in the premiere *gasp* could it b eeeeee Helena?

I love Talia and her attitude. It's exactly how I would picture her if she showed up on smallville Ugh, Huntress being back has been a lot of fun so far. There's a scene in the second episode where she takes on an entire mob of people, barely gets a scratch on her as she takes them all out, but the funnest part of it is that I don't have to constantly write, "knocked out" or "unconscious" because she's pretty brutal now, and just kills them. Talia is going to be the best thing this season to write, I think. Just from the premiere, I was just got so happy writing her. She's in quite a chunk of that episode, actually. And she'll be popping up in the next three- so introducing her in "Bound" has been thrown out of the window. Whoops.

I feel like Lois is a character I could have reoccur throughout the show after writing "Lazarus." I feel like bringing her in for a set number of episodes would really work, especially now that I couldn't fit in a reunion scene between her and Chloe in the premiere, which was kind of disappointing. :/ Other than that, I'm pretty excited about her role in the premiere, and there is a nice little Chloe/Lois scene (despite being used as a flashback), so its all good for the time being! XD

I like the idea of Lois becoming a recurring star. It would fit nicely. Plus it can really help the viewers see the Lois/Chloe dynamic that was so relevant in seasons 4,5,and 6

If its any consolation, whoever this major death in the premiere is, we'll at least get to see them throughout the rest of the season anyway, because of the one-year time-jump.
