The fiftieth episode is officially done and dusted. A few things have had to change and be cut for time but the majority remained. I was also able to find a place for Perry in the episode, which I'm really happy about considering the entire series started with a scene between he and Chloe. Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting back to the big Hush storyline for episodes 17 through to 22. Hoping to have news on an airdate as soon as I possibly can.

What exactly did you cut? My Mia senses are tingling.lol No, all the characters said to be in the fiftieth are still going to be there, and Mia plays a crucial role. Two big things were cut in that Wonder Woman doesn't have as physical a role as some may have been expecting, and as was originally planned. During edits, I realised the role and purpose she served for the episode didn't need to have the extra scene I had written, and so I cut it. She's in around three or four scenes, and plays a minimal but extremely crucial role. The other big thing I cut was the romance between Dick Grayson and Barbara Gordon. It's still implied a little bit in the action, and there's still an implication of the kind of role Nightwing played in the city alongside Gordon himself, and so nothing was severed other than an obvious actualisation of a romantic storyline for those two. Lastly, there was a different trajectory for Bruce and Amanda Waller that was cut, and changed as it was more fitting for the episode. So Mia's role remained intact

And will Chloe share scenes with Bruce and Helena in this new world?

Well I can't wait to see how this 50th episode plays out. What made you decide to make Pete an Argus agent? And will Chloe share scenes with Bruce and Helena in this new world? Thanks, man. You've been supporting me and the show for all fifty episodes, so thank you! The decision to make Pete follow down that road is that in the comics he becomes vice president to Luthor, and has this trajectory of being in a position of power. In having the life that he did on Smallville, I felt it made sense for Pete to not end up in a normal job, with a normal life, having a mundane purpose. It made more sense that he'd end up in a position like the one he holds at A.R.G.U.S. I mean, he was best friends with Superman, and A.R.G.U.S believes in the heroes of the world, so it's very much an extension of that. He plays quite a big role in the episode so you'll kind of hopefully see for yourself how he ended up with the life that he has now, and how it's not too far of a jump after everything he has experienced in his life. Bruce is very excluded from everyone in this new world. He kind of just breaks out of prison, and is off on his own. As for Helena, she's kind of in the middle of the chaos, and we'll see her interacting a lot with her father, Guido, and Barbara. Barbara kind of serves as an examination of Chloe's character, in retrospect, as she is the eyes in the sky, and then later develops to a point where she wants to step down from this tower and help the city in the middle of the action. So you'll see that Chloe/Helena dynamic explored in a different way, and honoured in a different way. But they don't really share scenes with Chloe in the new world. Chloe will stumble across a few familiar faces in Gotham, but her experiences are very much tied to the city, and its condition in her absence.

"Wanted" Spoilers
- Hush has infiltrated Checkmate and stolen a deadly weapon. - Waller threatens to initiate "no-mans-land," effectively closing Gotham off from the rest of the world to detain the threat. She grants Chloe and her team twenty four hours to defeat Hush, and retrieve the weapon. - Kristin Kreuk special guest stars as Lana Lang. Unlike in the fiftieth, the character will have her "power suit" and is said to be a double agent, employed under Checkmate, but working for A.R.G.U.S. - This episode introduces a romantic storyline between Vicki Vale and Ethan Bennett. - A main character will step foot inside the Bat Cave for the first time, and learn Bruce's secret identity. - DC Comics' Clayface will resurface in this episode, very briefly. - Bruce is investigating the connections between Thomas Elliot and Hush, and an answer will finally be given as to how he ended up in the present (having been best friends with Bruce's father), and while some answers are given, bigger mysteries will arise. - Producers tell VSGuide that there are exciting turns in Helena's storyline going forward that are launched in this episode, but that they don't want to give away too much. "We will say that Helena and Hush come face to face towards the end of this episode, and it'll provide a huge turning point in our story." - Talia comes into new information about her family line, and questions the only person who can deliver her the truth.

WHAT IS GOING ON???
- Okay. What is Hush stealing? I can only assume that it's going to play a role in the final episodes, which was me terrified and excited. - I think it'd actually be really interesting to see what "no-mans-land" would of if it was initiated. I know it'd lock the city down, but imagining all of that is pretty cool. - YASSS LANA!! And the power suit! It's going to be interesting to see how she can balance being a Checkmate and A.R.G.U.S. agent. - OoOoh, romance. We'll have to wait and see how that plays out! - *gasp* I have no idea who this could be. Partially because I've forgotten everyone who knows of Bruce's identity haha. Maybe Gordon... or does he know... - Clayface, go away, stop causing trouble. Thanks. - YES! I'm so interested in the Thomas Elliot storyline. BRING IT ON. - Nooo, nooo, nononononononoooo. Unless Helena unmasks Hush, kills him, and run off into the sunset, I don't like where this is going. - I wonder how Talia will go about this. She's been pretty disconnected from everyone, and I like that about her. She's the set up for another story, I can feel it.
MUCH EXCITE.

WHAT IS GOING ON??? - Okay. What is Hush stealing? I can only assume that it's going to play a role in the final episodes, which was me terrified and excited. It's definitely going to play into the final episodes of the season. Hush will also leave his mark on Waller, who we will be seeing more of in the future of the show. "No-Mans-Land" is very much introduced in this episode, and a concept that might just be explored in the future There's going to be an exciting twist in regards to that dual identity I'm really excited for Vicki and Ethan's storyline going forward. Despite romance sparking, she will very much be involved in the action as the season ramps up for its finale, and she will come into contact with Clayface in this episode! I will say it's not Gordon. The only people who know about Bruce being Batman is Chloe, Alfred, Talia and Hush. And it's all good. I never really planned to have characters find out, it was something that I felt would come to me when it should happen naturally. The person who finds out -- it happens because it furthers their dynamic, and solidifies something important for the finale. It's not someone you'd expect it to be, either, but I think you'll like the direction of this Ha! He'll be weaving his lil clay head in and out of the final season three episodes, heading into that finale There's a lot of history and answers to be given about his past that I'm finally able to tackle. I've always said that while I wanted to do a different take on Hush, and maintain a level of mystery that the comic books played with, I don't want to completely erase Thomas Elliot from the show, and from this version. While he's not the man behind the mask, he is still extremely tied towards the Hush storyline, and I hope you like the little bits of information we get about him in this episode! Yeah, you're probably going to hate what happens with Helena *runs off into the sunset, and steals your ending for Helena for myself* She's honestly been my favourite character to write. I think the fun with her in the first half of the season was to paint her as someone who is doing shitty things for the right reasons, and it was hard to really relate to her or care about her as anything more than an antagonist until she developed that closer bond with Bruce in episode seven through eleven. Now, she's very much disconnected from everyone, and you'll see her try to give to Kyle (in ep15) what Bruce gave to her, and she sort of comes into this new information that will further her even more from the team. She's definitely got her own thing going on, and it's just as important as the Hush storyline, and you are definitely right about setting up another story -- a story that will tie into the main storyline, and ignite in that finale You're awesome, man. Thanks for all the feedback Can't wait to see how you feel about the episodes once they air!

Once I've finished writing "Wanted," I'll write up a trailer to release. I also owe Alex a preview scene for either, Kahn, Dick/Nightwing or Barbara, so that'll be something I'll release too. It might be a Barbara scene, considering Dick/Nightwing doesn't have a whole lot to do with episodes 15 and 16 (despite appearing in both), and Kahn's scenes are a bit too spoilery in episode 15. Anyway, that's something to look forward to on the spoiler front. We're also approaching a huge development for Helena, and a lot of focus on that character, so I'll probably do a mock interview with Kayla Ewell to get some hype behind that because I'm really excited about it.

Kayla Ewell On Watchtower: Are Lisa and Helena Over? History with Vertigo? Hush vs Helena? Guido Returns?
It's been a while since VSGuide sat down with Kayla Ewell to discuss Helena Bertinelli's journey on Watchtower, but with producers mentioning a big storyline brewing for the show's return, we had to ask the woman herself what the fans could expect when the show returns for its final eight episodes of the season. In this exclusive interview, Ewell promises a follow up on the Lisa/Helena romance that began in the premiere, closure for the Batman vs Huntress conflict, teases the past between Helena and Count Vertigo, and spills the beans on three big spoilers for the highly anticipated season finale.
So, what are your thoughts on Helena's upcoming storyline? Are you excited to see Chloe and Helena reunited as friends? What do you think will come out of a Hush and Helena confrontation? Who's a better fit for our heroine: Lisa or Dick? And is anyone else nervous as hell about those finale spoilers? Sound off below!

Now, can I just say that this "No Man's Land" business is something I have wanted you to do. And I would love to see an arkham city type deal As well. I can see it now, Team Watchtower in a post apocalyptic Gotham fighting against the big baddies of Gotham while also trying to survive with diminishing Supplies. ^ Please do this

So I was doing a re-read of the old seasons, and I realized that a storyline that involved Perry and Mia never got followed up on. Will that happen in S4 or did it already get dealt with?
And also, in Perry's final episode, hopefully he gets to hang out with his buddy Mia or at least say farewell to her aswell. I do love that out of S1, that friendship was forged.
