Just In: Network to Greenlight Second Season of Hit Series 'The Outcasts' Based on characters from Marvel Comics "X-Men", and "Spider-Man", the hit VPN Series 'The Outcasts' has received great reception, and is known as one of the networks best Action series to date! Its take on an expanding universe has kept the show fresh and original, and after a very succesful run, it appears the VPN is ready to greenlight the show for a second action packed season. Chris Davis, Head of the Network, released a statement about the success of the show, and his faith in its creative development and growing fanbase: "The Outcasts has proven itself time and time again with its fantastic ratings, and its ever-so-growing group of fans who stick by the show every week. Its original take on an already established universe keeps every second of the hit-action series fresh and creative, and we're so glad to have such a brilliantly-scripted virtual series on our network."Vice Executive, Jack Malone, added: "We're very excited to be breaking this news, and we've been holding onto it for a long time. Fans can expect an amazing second half of the first season, and a very promising second season to follow in its conclusion."The series is developed by Aimee Nicole, and also attached to the project is Maddie Funderburg, who serves as an executive producer for the show. The network has ordered a new full season for the series, and you can expect to see brand new episodes of the first season returning to the network on Tuesday Nights, very, very soon.

Is there any chances that a certain Canadian X-Man is going to show up in S2?

At this time, we can't really say for sure whether or not that particular "Canadian X-Man" will be part of Season 2.

While I would love to have Deadpool on the show at some point, it probably won't be for a while.

EXCLUSIVE: Return Date Set! VSGuide has learned that after a several months long hiatus, series creator Aimee Nicole has officially set a return date for "The Outcasts"! She tells us that the next run of episodes, if everything goes as planned, will not break all the way up to the season finale. "That's right," she comments, "if there are no snags in the plan, this next run of episodes will take us all the way up to the season finale, which will finish the season off in early June, late May-ish." She went on the add, "In the event that it can't be done, the show will break again after Episode 15, and will premiere again with Episode 16 all the way to 24. Either way, the end of our debut season is approaching and we couldn't be more excited about it." The Outcasts returns on Tuesday, March 6th! Stay tuned for more spoilers on what to expect when the show returns!

EXCLUSIVE: Series Finale? Not quite! Series Creator Aimee Nicole released the following statement to VSGuide: "It's been a long time coming, I think. There has been a series loss in inspiration over the last few months for several reasons, but this was one of them. When the Outcasts was first created, I had certain visions in mind -- a certain way I wanted this to go. But with the influence of several other people, my original vision got lost somewhere along the way. It turned into something that I had a lot of trouble writing, something that didn't feel like it was entirely mine. That, mixed with the fact that the series got off to a rather faulty execution in my eyes, well, a reboot was inevitable as much as I tried to deny it. After a long conversation with Maddie [Funderburg], and with the support of the executive staff of the VPN, we've decided that this is the best route to take. The next run of episodes has been canceled, and a new set will be ordered to finish off this season as a sort of "finale", only to pacify the readers and give them some closure. The series will be back up and running in no time, however, with a reboot much better than what has already aired. The same premise, but with an altered cast and altered ideas -- Outcasts, the way it was meant to be. The series will still go in the same direction, the plans for Season Two have not changed -- they've been postponed in light of this new decision. Please bare with me in this transition time, and we'll have more information up regarding what to expect with this reboot soon enough. Thank you all for your support, and you won't be disappointed!"
