It's alright, Amin. XD I'm glad you're excited about it. For me, it's bittersweet. I know the series isn't ending, not by a long shot, but I'm still throwing away some stuff I worked hard on. It was a learning experience, though, one that I appreciate and have learned from. I've grown a lot as a writer, as Jack has told me, and I feel like this reboot will be good for me, my writer(s), and the show.

Like I said last night, I'm completely in favor of this idea. I know how it is to trying to write a show that you're not 100% positive about. I went through it with "Trinity," and that's why its being reworked. Also, hopefully I will be more involved with this reboot than I was with the original And if you need anymore help with casting and such, I'll always be available.

I hope that you can work on the reboot and be 100% happy with it. I couldn't imagine continuing a project I wasn't comfortable with. It would drive me nuts! Best of luck to you.

Thanks so much for the support, guys. I'm sorry that it all came down to this, what with Outcasts having already aired 10 episodes plus a Christmas special, but I promise it'll be worth it.

INTERVIEW EXCLUSIVE: Creator Explains Reboot In light of the new announcement, VSGuide has sat down one more time with series creator Aimee Nicole to discuss the reboot, what it entails, and what to expect. VSGUIDE: So you've explained your reasons for the reboot, and in them told us there would be an "altered cast". What's that mean? AIMEE: It means exactly what it looks like. The cast in the reboot will not look completely the same. The most notable change you guys are going to see is the lack of Nightcrawler and Shadowcat. My original view of the series did not include them yet. The reboot, as far as the X-MEN are concerned, will showcase the Original 5. Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Beast, Angel and Iceman. VSGUIDE: Does this mean we'll never see Nightcrawler and Shadowcat again? AIMEE: Absolutely not. Nightcrawler and Shadowcat will still be part of the series, just at a later time. They will not be part of the "first class". VSGUIDE: There have been some concerns with certain fan-favorites leaving the show, most notably Gwen Stacy. What can you say about this? AIMEE: Gwen Stacy is going no where. She will be in the reboot -- as a main cast member from the start. However, Bryce Dallas Howard will more than likely not be reprising her role as Gwen. However, it's still under negotiations. VSGUIDE: What can we expect as far as changes in the story? AIMEE: The basic premise stays the same. Green Goblin, the Brotherhood, anti-mutant craze. All of that will still be there. The execution will be what changes. Looking back on the series thus far, there are several plot holes and mistakes on my part. I jumped into the project too quickly, aside from crushing most of my original plans, and ruined what could have been something great. I will admit, my crew and I worked hard on this, and we love it for what it is, but big changes have to me made. The main thing to expect is a lot of focus on the first class of the X-Men, not just Spider-Girl as the series was taken. It got lost somewhere along that way that the series was about both of them. This time around, it will be much more integrated. VSGUIDE: Will you be keeping anything from the series thus far? Will we see any of it again? AIMEE: Yes, and probably. Granted, we'll try to switch it up a bit so you're not seeing the exact same thing. If you see it again, or notice similarities, it's probably because it's important to the series in future seasons or we just loved it that much. VSGUIDE: You were expected to air this Tuesday, but we now know that isn't going to happen. What are you going to do with the unaired episodes? AIMEE: Archive them. All episodes, including deleted scenes and anything else will be archived and put onto the vDVD for everyone to see. We're not going to let the story go to waste even though we might not use it. VSGUIDE: How do you plan to bring closure to the fans with this version? AIMEE: One damn epic mock-series finale, of course. Or at least, I hope. Whatever we end it with will not be the original intended ending for the season, not by any means. What you're going to see happen will be fresh, new and you will not see it again. It's our way of providing closure, as well as having a little bit of fun and "going out with a bang" even though we're not really "going out", we're just starting over. But the truth is, it's the end of something in one way or another and the fans deserve an epic mock-ending. VSGUIDE: How do you feel about the reboot, personally? AIMEE: Honestly, like I said before, it's bittersweet. I love the new opportunity, the ability to do it right -- the way I wanted it from the start. My vision, coming to life. But at the same time, it's sad in that this first run was amazing and I learned a lot, and I loved getting to work on it. Who knows, maybe'll I'll finish the entire version of this first season one day and give it a special re-release, a "what if" sort of deal. But all in all, I'm happy, I'm excited, and this is going to be AWESOME! VSGUIDE: Lastly, what will the title be? AIMEE: The Outcasts, what else? It's still the same show. I couldn't see it bearing any other name. The Outcasts has grown on me, and putting another name on it would just seem wrong. The Outcasts hasn't yet gotten details on when it will wrap up and the new season will launch, but Aimee Nicole promises that the information will be released as soon as possible. Do YOU have any questions regarding the reboot? Feelings? Supporting comments? Sound off below!

You know I support you in this, and while I'm sad to say goodbye to one of my favourite VPN series, I think it can only be even BETTER with a reboot. I can't wait to see what you do with this new version of the series, and hopefully things will run much smoother for you, with this new inspiration.
Looking forward to the mock-finale. Wonder if there are going to be any major casualties, or relationships forged, and perhaps the triangle between Gwen/Melanie/MJ will find some quick resolution in it. I'm really excited. XD

XD Thanks so much, Jack. You know how important your support is to me. I can't wait to wrap this up and get the new one out, as I'm really excited for it. The mock-finale....is going to be something lmfao. There probably will be major casualties, and the triangle between Gwen/Melanie/MJ will get a resolution. Whether or not it was the intended original resolution, well -- you'll see once the vDVD is released. We really wanna end this out with a bang -- even though it'll be FAR from what was originally planned.
