I hope Lana will in season after episode 16? I can't comment on appearances of main characters because there is a major death for a main character on the cast this season, and where that falls is going to stay a mystery. In terms of Lana's arc, there's a lot of great stuff coming up for her in this next run. If you're interested in seeing how the situation with the Prometheus Suit is resolved, how her relationship with Steve Trevor fairs after his decision to put her on ice, and seeing more of her at ARGUS and generally receiving more focus, then episode 10 is very much the beginning of all that

Exclusive: Bryan Greenberg Books Villainous Return as DC Comics' Hush for 'Watchtower' Season 4! VSGuide has learned exclusively that former 'Watchtower' series regular, Bryan Greenberg, is set to reprise one of his many Season 3 roles as DC Comics' Hush for an upcoming arc in Season 4. Initially introduced at the beginning of Season 3 as Kyle Williams, an aspiring hero with a mysterious past connecting him to Chloe, audiences would later discover that Kyle was actually Dusan Al Ghul, brother to Talia Al Ghul and son of Ra's Al Ghul, and that he was also the season-long big-bad, Hush. Now, Hush is back for a multiple episode arc, and is said to play a crucial role in the highly anticipated - and dreaded - death of a major character.
"We've already established the idea that Hush had opportunities to return - despite his death in the [Season 3] finale - due to his ability to time travel," series creator Jack Malone told VSGuide, "Hush shows up in [Season 4] and offers Maxwell Lord crucial information that will secure a victory for him, and in exchange, wants something from Lord to secure his own victory back in the past." For fans wondering just exactly what Hush needs from Lord, the 'Watchtower' creator confirmed it was his power. "We saw Hush use Lord's power of mind control on Jimmy Winnick that forced him to kill his adoptive parents, and now we're showing [the audience] the story of where he got that power."
But while Hush's ability to surface in the future of the series is established, can his actions ultimately change the timeline? "We're not looking at a Flashpoint storyline, or a paradox of any kind," Malone assured, "Hush cannot change the timeline, but he can still have an impact on the future, and do some serious damage in any future appearances." And that brings us to one very frightening revelation. "The information that Hush gives Lord will directly lead to the permanent death of a [series regular] character."
Bryan Greenberg is expected to make his first appearance in the eleventh episode of the season, titled 'ARGUS.'
Are you excited to see the former season-long big bad return to the show? Do you hope the same can happen for Kyle? And which main character do you think is destined to die by season's end? Let us know your thoughts below!

when return Talia Al Ghul? Made no announcements about Talia being back yet. Will be returning to the Lazarus Pit at some point this season. You might find out more about her when that does happen. Will have to wait and see. It's definitely too early to say anything about it now, though. She won't be in episodes 410 through 415, which is the next batch of episodes that will air.

not to be annoyingly pedantic, but you mean 410 to 415, right? I have so many questions I want to ask about 'that' coming death, but I know you wont be able to answer them fully without serious word-watching to avoid heavy spoilers!! Really looksing forward to each and every one of those coming episodes, they all each have something brilliant to focus on - Lex vs Oliver, more about the A.R.G.U.S. agency coming out, a whole episode on the Gordon/Batman relationship, Lana's suit woes coming to a head, the return of both Selina AND Amanda Waller, not to mention a new Suicide Squad!

Thanks, I've just edited it. Yeah, I'm sure the death will be a huge elephant in the room at all times in this thread, but I don't want to give it away or narrow it down. So I appreciate holding back on it (especially when I'm making blunders like saying 510 instead of 410). I've always enjoyed the mid-season area of a season. It's just easier and often more enjoyable to write. There's a lot of set-up in the first half, and a lot of crazy in the back half, whereas there's more breathing room mid-season to bring back characters like Selina Kyle and Lex Luthor, and to tackle some more B/C-side stories such as the Suicide Squad, and the corruption within the City Leadership. Hopefully it lives up to all the hype of all these stories and returns. As always, thanks for the support!

Jack Malone , Do you remember what IMRA said about Lana in Smallville.? Lana will know and remember for his services. Are you going to use it in your show? Absolutely. Imra talked about how Lana will be known for more than just her relationship with Clark Kent and that she has a destiny all on her own. She said that Lana would go on to do incredible things. And it's been the platform on which I've built her arc/s on Watchtower. I think her role at ARGUS has matched up with Imra's words for her future very well, and she's also been using her experiences as a survivor to guide others through the difficult times they've experienced themselves with her work at The Saviour Foundation. So, what's been set-up for Lana's future through Imra's words on 'Smallville' have definitely not been forgotten, and it's what's being explored in Season 4. With this being the theme of 'control,' that obviously lends itself very well to the concept of destiny — what characters are bound to by fate and what they can forge on their own — and so hopefully you'll get an answer for all of the characters on what their ultimate purpose is. For Lana, specifically, it's a question that has been plaguing her. Is she meant to have these powers? Is she meant to be an agent at ARGUS? Should she be a spokesperson for survivors of tragedy and/or guide them beyond their grief? Should she stay in Gotham? Should she be with Steve Trevor? Is she moving forwards or backwards? Navigating through that and figuring out what her specific destiny is that Imra spoke of is a definite goal this season. In fact, I believe I brought it up somewhere in the first nine episodes where Lana said she was told she was meant to do all these great things and she felt like she hadn't gone on to do them yet. "I was promised a great future. A destiny. And I don't think I've fulfilled it." - Lana (4.04 'Batwoman').
That was definitely a reference to what Imra told her on 'Smallville.'
