WATCHTOWER - SEASON FOUR AN INTRODUCTION 'WATCHTOWER' RETURNS FOR ITS FOURTH SEASON ON THEVPN. THREE MONTHS LATER - Coming together against the threat of Hush, Gotham City has never shined brighter, solidifying itself as one of the most liveable cities in the world. While Chloe (Allison Mack) faces the threat of imprisonment for her role as The Watchtower, Vicki (Yvonne Strahovski) is determined to scare any and all criminals back into hiding by keeping The Batman alive in Gotham. Convinced that the vigilantes are the greatest threat to his city, Gordon (Dylan Walsh) continues his manhunt for the masked men and women of Gotham, which costs him his relationship with his daughter. However, with the arrival of Sarah Essen (guest star Vera Farmiga) and their son, Jimmy (guest star Thomas Brodie-Sangster), Gordon just might find redemption through his second chance at having a family. Speaking of family, Oliver Queen (Justin Hartley) resurfaces this season on a quest that will reveal more than he bargained for and create complications for the life he's built with Dinah (guest star Alaina Huffman) in Star City. Meanwhile, Maxwell Lord (Gil Bellows), a meta-human with the ability to control people's minds, takes up permanent residency and full-time employment in Gotham that's a little too close for comfort. Also back and carving a new life for herself, A.R.G.U.S Agent Lana Lang (Kristin Kreuk) finds her true purpose in the legacy of the city's White Knight, Katherine 'Kate' Kane (guest star Deborah Ann Woll). And in a surprising turn of events, the fates of Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) and Helena Bertinelli (Kayla Ewell) will finally be revealed. Ollie's back! Bruce and Helena are returning!! Lana Lang and Maxwell Lord!! New Chloe clips!! To top it all off, a brief cameo of Clark and Lois!! Little disappointed that Kayla and Justin didn't get new 'name clips' but that's a minor thing. The really weird thing was how much I missed both Bryan/Kyle and Stana/Talia being in it  I mean, I'll miss Perry, but his departure has been a season-long story, so I'd emotionally accepted his absence, Kyle and Talia, not so much. As an overall tease for the coming season, BRING IT ON!!! |

Can I also ask how Chloe's mindset will be post jail time?! I mean sure it's only been 3 months but the joint changes you. Will there be repercussions for Chloe being in jail?!

The story I'm telling with Chloe behind bars is just this desperation to see her daughter, and finally be able to raise her and have a life with her. That's a huge part of her arc this season, getting to see Chloe be a mother. I think she fought so hard for it last season, but never quite got the opportunity and now that Hush is gone, you'd think she'd be able to be there but then Gordon arrested her. So the past three months she hasn't been worried about prison, she hasn't had any experiences worth bringing up, this isn't going to turn into Orange is the New Black or anything, but this focus on getting out of there to see her baby girl is what's driving her and keeping her from being distracted by anything that could transpire behind bars. When 'Restoration' starts, we're at the end of the trial. Chloe is waiting for a verdict, and it's pretty clear that public opinion of her is split 50/50 so she has no idea what her fate will be in that courtroom. |

The season will catch up to the 2018 flash-forward that Smallville ended on, so you will see Chloe and the boy. Whether it's her son, whether she's pregnant again, whether this or that happens, it's something to be explored this season on Watchtower for sure |

Oliver remembers that he has a daughter? 1) In regards to the boy, Dinah being the mother is certainly one of many options. There will be an answer this season! 2) Selina Kyle will definitely be back. I'm very interested in doing a Gotham Sirens episode with Catwoman, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn 3) Lex Luthor will more than likely resurface this season. 4) I do have plans for Martha Kent / Red Queen 5) Oliver has no idea that he has a daughter, but that could change  |

Honestly, I don't have an answer for this as there's no Barbara/Oliver storyline planned, and Barbara has a storyline that kind of... it can be very limiting in terms of who she interacts with this season. You'll have to read the premiere to know what I mean. |

When there's a more solid plan in place where I can start talking specifics for her and her storyline this season, then information will flood out from there. Right now, I don't have those specifics but she is very much going to be a part of this season! Linda Lake was killed in Season 8 of Smallville. I would love to write her back in the show and have her for an episode but there's more important things to use episodes for that play into the bigger picture. But hey, never say never, right? I don't have any plans to use Curtis Knox on 'Watchtower.' |

Exclusive: Charles Michael Davis Talks Lucius Luke Fox Jr,
Becoming Batwing, Partnership with Vicki, and More! The fourth season of 'Watchtower' can be expected to have a large reoccurring cast that will play an integral part in the upcoming season, one of which we caught a few glimpses of last season: Lucius Luke Fox Jr, portrayed by Charles Michael Davis ('The Originals'). Last season, he was shown to be taking over the role of his late father in helping Bruce (Christian Bale) with his crusade as The Batman. And despite his fall at the hands of Gordon (Dylan Walsh) last season, Lucius will remain loyal in his efforts to keep The Batman legacy alive: enter Batwing. Not only will we see Lucius suit up in the upcoming season premiere, but we will also see him become part of the team through his friendship with Vicki (Yvonne Strahovski) and his powerful resources. In this exclusive interview, VSGuide asks all the questions on what the fans can expect from the character in Season 4.
VSGUIDE | Your character was introduced last season and seemed to have some pretty interesting scenes that hinted at the possibility that there was more to come. What can the fans expect for Lucius in Season 4?
CHARLES MICHAEL DAVIS | Well, last season was very much about establishing his role and connection to the story through Bruce and later through Vicki. This season kind of expands on it a little more. At the start of the season, there's a lot of mystery behind what happened to Bruce and if he's alive and the characters are all aware of what's happened but it takes a while for the audience to catch on. The Batman has obviously been gone for three months, and Vicki and Lucius have kind of banded together to keep that figure alive in Gotham and they're quite hopeless at it [laughs]. There'll be someone who comes in and gives them a run for their money, but hey... at least they're trying, right?
VSGUIDE | So with that comes Lucius stepping into this role of Batwing?
CHARLES MICHAEL DAVIS | Yeah. The [season premiere] really allows us to explore that route for Lucius. I'm not sure if it's something that will necessarily stick but it was certainly fun to suit up and be as prevalent in the action as I could be with this character.
VSGUIDE | Can you give us a little idea of what that transition for Lucius will be like? Is he proficient as a vigilante? Is he clumsy and out of his element? What can we expect to see for Lucius going in that direction?
CHARLES MICHAEL DAVIS | The suit is very much based around technology and advanced technology. It does most of the work for him, and kind of works in a way that anyone can put it on and navigate it to a certain extent. You'll know what I mean when you see the episode. But it allows for him to be in the action without losing that sense of logic because technology is his thing. It's his niche. So you'll see moments where he may appear proficient, and then moments where he's completely out of his element and there's this realisation of "holy crap, we need The Batman," which is kind of the whole point behind these attempts to keep that symbol alive for Gotham.
VSGUIDE | Last season kind of explored a friendship and a bond between Lucius and Vicki. Will we continue to see that dynamic grow this season, and has losing The Batman brought them a lot closer together?
CHARLES MICHAEL DAVIS | It has. I love working with Yvonne [Strahovski] and it was so fun to whip out Mister Freeze's freeze ray in the [season finale] to take down Clayface together. I think you'll see more moments between them this season as there has been an obvious development in their relationship over hiatus and they've been in the trenches together. She really helps him to try and move past something pretty horrific in our season opener, and it carries on into future episodes a little. So yeah. I think if you enjoyed seeing them interact, you'll have something to enjoy in Season 4.
VSGUIDE | Is that something we can expect to be a romantic or platonic development for Vicki and Lucius?
CHARLES MICHAEL DAVIS | Purely platonic. Lucius has a very private love life that may come to the surface at some point this season. I'm really hoping it does because they hinted at it last season but there wasn't much time to really explore it.
VSGUIDE | Sounds interesting! Our last question - which we ask all the returning cast members - is if there are any characters we can expect you to be interacting with that are purely new for this season or expanded on this season?
CHARLES MICHAEL DAVIS | Ooh. Um... I do get to work with Allison [Mack] more which is nice. I just shot a scene with her and Kristin [Kreuk] that was a completely new experience for me and my character. I think you'll just get to see a lot more of Lucius interacting with the 'team' if you can even call them that. So, yeah. More Lucius with Team Watchtower, definitely!
