Alright so here is yourr SUPER ULTRA MEGA REVIEW FOR Arkham and MY favorite LONG TIME AWAITED EPISODE.....SPEEDY ARKHAM This episode was very Perry-centric which i like alot. The episode was really good. I loved the fact that Emil was working with Chloe and Oliver again. It felt like old times again. Another thing I enjoyed was Perry going all "Dark Side" when he put on the helmet for personal gain. I felt that we finally got to see the consequences of abusing the helmet of nabu. Another thing about this episode i enjoyed was how Emil tricked Chloe into thinking he was evil again. That had me going for awhile too but I love how he just showed that he was faking . Another thing I enjoyed was the fact that helena was being targeted by the big bad: "The Key Crime Syndicate". I cant waiti to see what they do next. And that device attached to her neck....it was a good thing to have. Bruce's speech....about Helena was pretty inspirational . I also enjoyed how Chloe now knows Perry knew that she was WT. Oh and the fact that Ollie was talking to the helmet...that was funny. SPEEDY MY FAVORITE EPISODE. Where should i start? I mean i could start with the fact that Mia is a boss. She had alot of good scenes with everyone in this episode. Another thing i enjoyed was Vicki's scene with Chloe. Helena putting a virus in the database of WT was F***ed up. I really wish Mia would have slapped Helena around . Bruce and Selina not having a relationship anymore is so HORRIBLE other than the fact that WT's database is NOW in the hands of some psychopaths. The chase scene on the freeway was pretty awesome. I liked iit alot. Another thing i enjoyed was how Bruce was kidnapped and forced to promote vigilantes as terrorists. The next person/group I'm waiting for to show up on WT is either Slade or the Suicide Squad . Cuz that would just be epic . Mia's little reveal as too WHY she left was SPOT on. I like how you incopoorated that into her leaving and how to help Selina. Another thing i enjoyed was the refrences to the Titans. Especially Jump City . Mia will ALWAYS be my favorite . Oh and the last thing i enjoyed....I SO didnt see Helena as the one that you killed off. I cant wait to see what you do next. And i also lliked that Ollie was complaining about watchtower being offline again. CHARACTERS Chloe Sullivan/Watchtower: In 2.05 ARKHAM: Chloe seemed to be taking the whole Perry and the helmet of nabu thing personally. Considwering the last time she used it she went missing for several months. Her scenes with Emil made the episode alot better considering how she doesnt trust him anymore . Meanwhile...her final scene with Perry at the end of the episode was so SAD. i hate how unlucky her life is right now. And in 2.06 SPEEDY: This episode starts right where the last one ended. With her leaving Gotham Daily upset and crying. I like how Mia saves her life and she was at least able to almost injure a bad guy. Her attitude towards Mia was justified but I kind of felt like she had no right to do that, considering most of her friends still think she is dead. But thank goodness they patched that up. Her motorcycle scene with Ollie was good. And her final scene with Helena was HORRIBLE. I hated that she Once again lost somebody else Oliver Queen/Green Arrow: In 2.05 ARKHAM: He is the first one to insinuate that Perry is looney. Another thing i enjoyed about him in thiis episode was that he and the helmet had a little conversation. I thought that was really funny . Another thing i liked was that he and Emil departed on good terms . I found that good and i cant wait for them to team up again . In 2.06 SPEEDY: I like that he and Mia had that closure. They relationship is EXACTLY how it was in the comics. Father and daughter type deal. Im glad that Olllie is contemplating having a child outsiide of this WACKY life they lead. Ollie's scenes with Mia always made me almost cry because of how sad they were. Meanwhile....his and Chloe's scenes together made me just laugh at how they were always embracing or kissing.haha. And his final scene watching Bruce's broadcast is goign to raise HELL in the next episode . I cant wait. Another thing i enjoyed was how he is trying to now help Selina the same way he helped Mia . Thjat made me smile Helena Bertinelli/Huntress: In 2.05 ARKHAM: She is still disguised.lol. I find that HILARIOUS. But im glad Bruce was able to help her. But of course that ended when the KCS came after her. . That blows that they want her to steal the WT database. But of course Helena is bleh when it comes to decision making . She is weaksauce to me . In 2.06 SPEEDY: I hated what she did. But i understood it. It sucks that she shot Chloe and then ended up getting double-crossed and then at the end DIE.haha. Of course there is also the fact that Mia didnt smack her ass DOWN at all in this episode. . Bruce Wayne: In 2.05 ARKHAM: Him helping Helena get back intot he good graces of the people and all was nice and dandy but I KNEW he was going to get backlash from the Big Bad.haha. Another thing i enjoyed was his scenes with Selena . Those made me smile. They make such a cute couple. In 2.06 SPEEDY: It SUCKS that right after he and Helena have a falling out that he gets nabbed by the goon squad and taken to the KCS. Another thing that irked me about Bruce was how easy he let Selina run out of his office . And now he is captured by the enemy and there is nobody tehre to help him. Hopefully somebody knows he is missing . Selina Kyle: In 2.05 ARKHAM: Of course her only role was to see perry use the helmet, call Chloe, get smacked through a window, and then wind up in the hospital only to awaken HOURS later and for her and Bruce to be all cute and lovey dovey with eachother . In 2.06 SPEEDY: Some more of her past is REVEALED . I mean her being a prostitute was seen in a flashback but now that we got to see it in normal time and color...I am throughly impressed. I like that fact that both Mia and Ollie were trying to convince her that her life is wworth living with out all that prostitution and crap . The of course she left Brruce which irritated me. But they better get back together soon Perry White: In 2.05 ARKHAM: I liked this as his episode considering that he used the helmet for his personal gain . Of course im really upset with the fact that he and Chloe at the end of the episode couldnt have a chat considering she was upset. I did like how Dr. Arkham was trying to turn him into DarkWatch....i didnt think we would see that again . In 2.06 SPEEDY: I liked how he and Mia got to see eachother again. I thought there team up last season was pretty amazing . They made a great team. Also i enjoyed how he caught Selina and Mia's convo. That is going to be good next episode. And also i liked how Mia called him a hero . Emil Hamilton: All i have to say.....LOVE HIM . Cant wait to see him again. OH and i cant wait to see if you EVER have Tess interact with him again. I like when those two work together Vicki Vale: I like that you introduced her. She is awesome. She is just like Chloe. I mean she is awesome and i love that she is a huge hero supporter. And i cant WAIT to see her next season and in later episodes Mia Dearden/Speedy: As they say...Save the BEST for last. I LOVED HER in episode 6. She is awesome. Her scenes with everyone was totally emotional and i enjoyed every last one of them. Her talk with Chloe about why she left was like i said before SPOT ON. I like how you followed her comic character's life and history. I love how you also made references to the Titans. Mia is always my favorite. I liked how you also made her alot wiser than she was before. Her scene with Selina was really inspirational. And i cant wait for you to bring her back. Oh and btw....her chat with Ollie about babysitting was hilarious. Along with the line about being invited to the wedding. I found it very funny aswell. I missed her as a character and her scenes in her episode was AWESOME Sauce. The only thing im upset abbout is that Helena and her didnt have a smackdown and a convo about whaat she did. I also would have loved to have Mia meet Bruce/Dark Knight . QUESTIONS 1. Did you make up the KCS or are they from the comics? 2. Will anyone actually notice Bruce is misssing? 3. Since the KCS has Chloe's database....will they go after Clark and the League? 4. Do the KCS know Bruce is the Dark Knight? 5. Since Helena is "dead" whats going to happen to the Huntress? 6. Will the KCS go after Lana and her team since they have the database? 7. Why was the JSA Brownstone stolen from? And by whom? 8. Where is the helmet now? 9. How many times now has WT been shut down? Counting from Smallville to NOW?hahahaha 10. Will Checkmate and Chloe help eachother out? Since both sides dont want to get rid of vigilantes? ALL IN ALL I LOVED THESE EPISODES..... 2.05 ARKHAM: 10/10 2.06 SPEEDY: 11/10

Thanks for the reviews, Karl. They're a bit difficult to respond with they way you decided to mesh both episodes together, so I'll have to tackle a response later on. But I really appreciate the feedback, it means a lot and I'm glad that you enjoyed both episodes, especially Mia's send off from the series. I'll answer your questions, and get them out of the way first!
1. Did you make up the KCS (Key Crime Syndicate) or are they from the comics? The Key Crime Syndicate aren't from the comics - at least, not that I'm aware of. They were introduced last season in "Homecoming" when the backstory of Guido's disappearance was being explained, so they had some involvement in Helena's life, in a way. I then realised what I wanted to do with Helena's character in the second season so I originally was just going to bring them back part-time, but having this whole 'vigilante' storyline planned for a long time, I decided the KCS could be the anti-vigilante group that is trying to ruin them in order to take over completely - as for who is running it, that all becomes clear very soon and actually surprised me how it all connects. I was going to unveil it in "Speedy" but deleted it all because the episode had enough plotpoints.
2. Will anyone actually notice Bruce is missing? That's the exciting part about it - the KCS are really good. Not only did they manipulate Bruce into taking his word back and pretty much putting the entire vigilante community (its weird calling them a "community") in the line of fire, but they also managed to make everyone believe that he's left Gotham to better understand how he fits into his father's legacy, which was a known struggle of Bruce's making it completely believable. Will anyone notice he's 'missing'? Yes. Will they know that he's been kidnapped and is being held hostage by the KCS? No. All they know is that Bruce is off discovering himself again.
3. Since the KCS has Chloe's database, will they go after Clark and the League? Bit of a spoiler here, but yes, they will - Dinah Lance returns in the next episode as their first target. Basically, it will be explained that although the KCS have the database, everything is encrypted and there are still firewalls blocking the tons and tons of files on there - another reason why Bruce isn't aware that Oliver is Green Arrow, and that Clark Kent is Superman, etc. They manage to crack onto Dinah's files and make her their number one target, whilst trying to decrypt the rest. Its a good stalling tool, but also acts as a nice way to keep things flowing at a nice pace.
4. Do the KCS know Bruce is the Dark Knight? No, actually, they don't.
5. Since Helena is dead, what's going to happen to the Huntress? That's a good question. I really wish I could answer with more specifics, but to be honest you're going to have to stay tuned on that one. As for Helena, you can expect a funeral in the next episode.
6. Will the KCS go after Lana and her team since they have the database? Lana Lang has her own problems to deal with - if your question is: Will there be a crossover between Trinity and Watchtower this season? Then the answer is no, which kind of sucks. Chris and I have the perfect crossover planned for when, well, 'if', we reach our final season plans and I think its the perfect way to bring them back together.
7. Why was the JSA Brownstone stolen from? And by whom? It was Emil who broke into the JSA Brownstone and stole the Helmet of Nabu - it happened somewhere offscreen last season. That's why the helmet was in his possession when Perry stumbled across it. And that's why Emil confronted Perry last season requesting it back.
8. Where is the helmet now? Oliver returned the helmet back to the JSA Brownstone.
9. How many times now has WT been shut down? Counting from Smallville to now? Hahaha. I'm not sure. It happened last season in "Offline," on the exact same episode number ("6"). Maybe 6 is just an unlucky number for Watchtower, terrible stuff always happens in the sixth episode. But WT hasn't been as severely shut down as it was in "Offline." The database has basically been fried with a virus. Once Chloe works the computer she's bound to get rid of it, but the database is completely gone. Maybe there's a certain someone with a spare copy... Hmmm...
10. Will Checkmate and Chloe help each other out since both sides don't want to get rid of vigilantes? Without saying too much, the situation is more about the heroes coming together to solve this problem, and uniting as one to basically take on the KCS. They still have an army to unleash, so the war isn't even in full drive yet, but as for Checkmate returning ... I think you should just stick to Trinity if you want to see Amanda Waller and Checkmate, because Chris is doing a fantastic job of telling that story over on his show.

So, finally -- I've got time to read and review more of season 2. Here is my review of 2x03 "LOCKDOWN" ______________________________________________ TEASERI always love your teaser, but this has got to be the best one! A lot was accomplished here. I love the scene between Chloe and Selina the most! They've got some OUTSTANDING banter and I just love how Selina gets under Chloe's skin, especially when she finds out that she's going on a date with Bruce. It was awesome that Chloe got so upset too, not because Bruce was dating, but because he was dating "HER" hahaha She must really annoy Chloe, and I love that you showed just how much. I can't believe how quickly this episode is picking up! They go into lockdown IN THE TEASER! Wow, wasn't expecting that. This should be a killer episode ACT ONEWow, this is INTENSE! I love the connected scenes as the reporters are covering the shooting, and we go to Oliver, then Helena, as they both have people they love at Wayne Enterprises. It was a very effective scene. Also, loving how nervous Chloe is. Haven't seen her like that before, or in a long time. haha I hope her and Oliver have a great big make up scene before the episode is over. Also, I love how Guido dodges getting killed. He's smart, I would have done the same thing. I also like the reason as to why Wes decided to go crazy. Reminds me of the Toyman/Oliver Queen story in season 9 of Smallville! The episode is moving along pretty smoothly. I'm really enjoying it! ACT TWOI like that Selina is worried about Chloe Aww, she's not such an evil b-tch after all. HEHE jks. But seriously, made me love her even more. And Perry going for the Helmet Oh god, oh god, this is really getting interesting! God, I can't wait for Helena to get out of this phase. I know, she's only trying to protect her father and herself but god -- She's beginning to get annoying. HAHAHA Hopefully she'll come around soon, if she doesn't get killed or anything Awww the Bruce/Chloe scenes are just, the BEST of the episode. I love that Bruce really has genuine feelings for Selina. They're relationship is one I've been looking forward to and it's delivering the goods so far! xD And Chloe, talking about Oliver that way. Just really made me smile. Oh, and that Lois/Clark echoed line "When the right person comes along, you'll know." is pretty close to Lois' ” ... I think…that when the right girl walks into your life, you'll know it.” I know its a pretty simple line that can be used in more than one show but -- GAH! Just gave me a Lois flashback and that is NOT good, anytime! HAHA! Now... Oh SH-T! They've got guns... it's about to go down! haha! ACT Two was pretty darn awesome! ACT THREEOh my god. Who just took Perry?? Holy crap. That scene was epic. I had to read it twice to fully understand what was going on but -- wow, haha! Dammit, Jack! I didn't think you would actually kill him Lucius. LMFAO That was a cool scene as well. Ollie comes to Chloe's rescue, I knew that would happen but Helena really shocked me! I'm glad she came to her senses, but I hope this isn't just a one time thing. The Huntress needs a comeback, Helena! XD OOOHH, I'm scared for Perry. Wonder what he'll do, if it means saving Chloe he'll do anything but -- hope it doesn't get to rough for him. ACT FOURYay! Helena is back. Even though she hasn't returned to her "hero" duties, I'm glad that her and Chloe are friends again. I was really gonna miss them if they remained separate. I loved Oliver's line when he came to see them hugging haha! then Helena's "Perverted Freak" really made me laugh! XD Chloe and Oliver are the best. I know I love me some Bruce/Selina but -- nothing beats Chlollie! and Yay! Bruce/Selina are official, well ... for now. haha! HOLY MOTHER OF CRAP IT'S TWO FACE Wow, that was intense. This is the start of something EPIC! WOAH!! I thought this episode was over! God damn! *Goes to act five* ACT FIVETwo face is just about one of the most EPIC bad guys you could have in Watchtower. I love how you wrote him, he's amazing! One of my fav parts of this episode. After the big, epic showdown, I loved the humor between Chloe/Oliver (Green Arrow) hahaha! Funny. Oh. My. God. This episode is one the most intense ones ever!! Helena has just reunited with Chloe and now, she's an enemy of the state. So much for a normal life, huh? LOL The final scene was a shocker!! Chloe has quit! I wish Perry would have just told Chloe everything and they could have talked about her, and Watchtower, but GAH -- It wouldn't be an epic show if that happened, huh? lmfao Hopefully she'll find her way back to Gotham Daily some time in the future. 2x03 LOCKDOWNThis episode was amazing! I loved the storyline from beginning to end, and I loved how they seemed to change, without being confusing or all over the place. The multiple villains of the episode made it that much more EPIC and I loved just about every page of dialogue here! I think this episode is one of my favorites of the season so far, so I'm giving it a 10! xD VERY NICE JOB! I cannot wait to read "Fear."

TEASERI always love your teaser, but this has got to be the best one! Yay. I love getting your reviews! Selina and Chloe - in fact all of Selina's scenes - have been really fun to write and I always look forward to doing theme, especially with Selina's character branching away from everyone in upcoming episodes. I'm happy that you understood that scene; Chloe hounding on Bruce about his dating life. It wasn't because she was jealous or the fact that he was interested in someone else, but because Selina really annoys her THAT much. The great thing about reading and watching stuff is that everyone has their own interpretation, and mine writing that matches what you saw, so I'm glad someone saw that too. xD Thanks! I wanted to show both sides being affected by the news, Oliver and Helena. They both had people inside there and so it was a way to bridge them together this episode and get their plots moving. With Chloe, it was fun to write her rambling and nervous about everything that was going on, because technically it was a new situation for her - in a lockdown, she's basically waiting to be killed off and she's more proactive, especially in the most recent episodes of Watchtower. Waiting around isn't her thing. Ahh... love Toyman. xD You might see him back this season LMFAO! What I wanted to show was that Chloe and Selina actually have fun annoying the crap out of each other, in a weird way that IS their friendship. So I didn't want Selina, although she's competitive and wants to outrank Chloe in pretty much evertyhing, I didn't want Selina to be excited about the fact Chloe could die or not really show any emotions towards it because she's not a cold-hearted character. She's flawed, in many ways, but not cold-hearted, and so this scene was basically to show Chloe's importance to Selina, despite their bantering. Yeah, I learned early on that Helena's "I want to be normal" story arc would slow her down a bit, in terms of development in the first few episodes. I think that it also sort of shows another side of her that not everyone enjoys, but it has a lot of pay off in the end, I promise. OMG. I love writing Selina/Bruce. Its been fun to sort of take something from the comics, and then run with it. Honestly, I haven't read many Batman comics in my life - much of any DC Comics in my life - but when I introduced Selina there was just something fun about the idea of pairing her up with Bruce to get her character going. I don't know. I see lot of chemistry between them, and whether or not others see it is up to their own preferences and what they like in relationships, but I've really enjoyed writing them and they've got a lot of great stuff coming up. I know, I sound really stuck up, but I'm really excited for you to read season two this year! xD YES! It was very much a reference to that scene. It was definitely on purpose that one - I felt what Lois said was pretty true to Chloe and Oliver, even though she said it about her and Clark. I mean, when Chloe and Oliver first met, all Chloe could basically say was "Wow." And that's how it all started. She was instantly drawn in; at least 'attraction' wise. So I wanted to include that line because I felt it sort of mirrored the Chloe and Oliver relationship. I kind of feel bad for killing Lucius, but I really liked how he went out, LMFAO! That was probably one of my favourite scenes to write. When Oliver showed up and saved Chloe. Just the whole 'peeling back the mask and revealing its Oliver' part and Chloe's reaction ... their reunion was built up all episode until that point so it was my favourite thing to write. I really hate writing a lot of the 'drama' between Chloe and Oliver, but without it they'd probably get boring fast, or really cheesy *cough* Clois! *cough* Helena and Chloe's friendship has been through quite a bit this season. I think it was important to sort of split them up to see what would happen, and I myself didn't think I could hold it for very long because I'd miss writing their scenes. And I'm so glad that you love Chlollie! xD TWO-FACE was definitely a last minute addition, hahaha. xD I really didn't think I'd bring Two-Face back, ever. Mainly because I felt like it was fun to see the origin of him in "Trial" and then just leave it there for the future when Batman would cross paths with him, but I realised that this incarnation of Two-Face HATES Bruce Wayne, NOT Batman, so I really wanted to bring him back to sort of wrap that aspect of his character up. I'm sure he'll be back in future episodes, but if not, I felt that "Trial" and "Lockdown" were pretty good episodes for Harvey Dent/Two-Face. A lot of the time these storylines just sort of weave themselves. Like with Chloe quitting Gotham Daily ... it was meant to be a way to sort of show that Perry's actions have consequences, but from there on she crosses over to the Gotham Gazette world, and starts working for Gotham City's iconic newspaper, which brings in Vicki Vale ... and its weird. I'd like to say: "I totally planned all of this..." But a lot of it, well a decent amount of it tends to weave itself. Thank you so much, Chris! This was actually an episode that I wasn't really confident about - I felt there were a few things in there that I didn't really enjoy, but its comforting to know that you enjoyed it and think so highly of it. I'm slowly starting to build up confidence in my writing, but there are a few episodes, or scenes that I tend to think suck and then the whole episode just gets ruined for me, LMFAO. I'm weird like that. But, anyway, thank you soooo much for reviewing and I can't wait to see what you think about the other episodes when you have the time. Really appreciate it! xD

Jack....i was watching your video for Chloe and her friends/family And it got me thinking....Well i know Lana and Clark will appear sooner or later And i KNOW how much you hated her in Season 9 and 10 but i think Lois should appear. Now the beauty of having her appear is that you can make her the way she was pre-season 9 and 10. With her still having the memories of what happened in the seasons. Just giver her back her brash attitude and her kick-ass fighting skills. And the WHOLE i dont need to be saved by a big strong man attitude I KNOW you wanted to have Lois on WT but not have the crappy Lois that they had on Smallville in the final seasons. Since you are good at writing. I know you can do it . Hopefully you take this into consideration...for me PLEASE

I'm not a big enough fan of Lois to write for her anymore. That and there's no real reason to bring her back, at least this season. She's living a busy life in Metropolis, and we all know in the comics how busy the character of Lois Lane always is. Also, the writers have pretty much ruined her for me with the direction they took her, so its just hard getting invested in that character to write for her. I don't really feel up to it, but who knows, maybe she'll show up for an episode some time over the course of this series - very, very doubtful this season.

Finally getting around to reviewing Watchtower episode 2.01: Identity. For the first episode of the new season I think you've opened on a solid teaser. I like how we're shown off the bat where Bruce has been and right from the start you're setting him up for the whole 'Batman' arc of this season. Also we're introduced to the new character, Selena Kyle. I must admit I loved this little introduction. You've got Chloe there, happy and totally rocking her day, only to have her introduced to her new partner, one that she doesn't particularly want to have. I just found that scene rather funny, the way Chloe's mood just drops. It made me smile The first scene between Helena and Oliver in the first act is another very well written scene. There's some real emotion behind it and it could have come across as a little cheesy in the wrong hands but you've done it fantastically. You get where both the characters are coming from and it's just done really well. So kudos for another strong opening scene in your first act. Ah, just got to the scene between Oliver and Chloe in watchtower and I really love it. It's that perfect mix emotions and the cute little romantic bit at the end, that didn't make me want to barf either (as so many romance scenes do). Everything in that scene you just nailed perfectly and I loved reading it Now the bad guy of this episode I sort of have a problem with. I can understand this Rick guy wanting to get back at Selina for something but why did he ever think Bruce Wayne would pay a ransom for her? That was the first time Bruce and Selina had met and, as far as Rick knew, it was purely for business. I just think that was a section of the plot that may have been overlooked, unless there was a reason Rick thought Bruce would be rather invested in Selina's safety that I missed? That said, the dialogue between Rick and Bruce about how the cops would never show up late for a rich member of society and that Bruce was only adding to the corruption was fantastically written. I think it's so powerful because you know that what Rick is saying, on some level, is probably true and I think Bruce realises that and it's a real eye opener for him. But yeah, that section of dialogue, LOVED it Oh, and nice twist with Rick being the same guy who killed Bruce's parents, didn't see that one coming at all! Getting on to the issues I had with this episode. One was the scene between Bruce and Chloe in the first act. It wasn't necessarily a bad scene, there were some funny lines and there was some interesting discussion about Chloe's decision to shut down watchtower but I felt it may have worked better with a time skip in the middle. I can understand Chloe showing up to see him and them having a bit of a joke around but to then jump straight into a rather serious conversation only for her to leave right after? I think it would have worked much better to have a small time skip between the 'I'm so glad you're back' and the 'this is everything that has happened since you were gone', perhaps having them discussing that over a coffee or something would have made it flow a bit better. Another thing I didn't like, and this is just mostly personal opinion, is the return of Emil. I feel like he should have just been left as last seasons villain rather than being brought back to now be the supposed 'good guy' he used to be. From my reviews of last season you'll know I don't like yo-yo characters, who change from one episode to the next, and I feel like that's what Emil has become. It's like beating a dead horse, it's been done and I don't feel like he brings all that much to the show. But again, that's just my personal opinion Also, Selina and Bruce: don't like them together at all. With their scene coming after Chloe and Oliver's really fantastic one it just seemed a bit... eh. This could just be my inner fangirl acting up though as I'm a bit of a Chloe/Bruce fan myself... XD Anyway, all up I'm gonna give this episode an 8/10. It was a solid start to the season with some really great scenes and some average scenes that I felt brought it down a little. It was a great set up for the season to come though and I can't wait to start reading the rest of the episodes

Finally getting around to reviewing Watchtower episode 2.01: Identity. YAY! I love your reviews! Glad to see you'll be reviewing Watchtower season two! I was a bit skeptical to start the season off with Bruce, and not Choe, but it did lead back into her anyway, so it sort of worked out in the end. I'm glad you liked the teaser. Bruce's return had a lot to do with the main plot of the episode, his return being the story that Chloe and Selina were set to cover, and how his character tied in with the episode's baddie: Rick. That scene was a lot of fun to write! I wanted to show Chloe, three months after all the crap that happened to her last season, rocking her career and really establishing right from the get go that she's really built herself up at Gotham Daily. She knows other reporters, she's friendly with them and she's getting her articles in on time. I wanted to find a way to do that before introducing Selina, and then it sort of blended together and became one scene that did just that and brought Selina on board. That scene also pretty much sets up their relationship this season - Selina always ruining Chloe's mood, and all, HAHA. xD Thanks, MJ! I'm not sure how many Helena/Oliver scenes there have been, but Oliver was really the only character left on the team, and left to sort of pull everyone back together, which is what he spends most of the episode doing with Chloe. I'm glad you liked it! Wow, thanks! Means a lot! That can be explained. Its more than likely suggested that Rick had been following Selina, as that was who he was out to get: Selina. And who had she been hanging with? Bruce Wayne of all people. So he saw this as the opportunity to knock two birds with one stone, leaving the whole thing rich. It was more about taking the chance that Selina and Bruce had some sort of connection, with her being alone at his house, and also knowing the fact that Bruce is this public figure and would try and clear this situation up and make sure no lives would be lost. I understand the confusion, but that's how it can be explained, and how I wrote the scenerio playing out. Bruce and Selina also sort of kicked things off pretty well, so there was already that bubbling chemistry/connection between the two. I'm glad you liked that! I loved writing that whole confrontation. This had a lot to do with exploring Bruce's past before kick starting his future as the Dark Knight - it also sort of connects Bruce and Selina's tragedy's together, which I think helped bring about their relationship when it came to writing their characters this season. *cries* awwww *cries* hehehe. xD I just looked over that scene. It does drag on a bit long. I personally, reading it, felt it blended in nicely because it was a sort of 'welcome back!' sort of thing, and with that comes discussion and not just happiness, laughter, smiling, etc. But on the other hand, the scene drags a bit long, therefore could have been split or cut down to flow a bit better. I'll have to try and watch out for those in future episodes I write. Ouch, poor Emil! HAHA. I completely understand where you're coming from here. As not only a writer of the show, but someone who loves all of these characters, Emil was someone that really got the bad end of the deal last season because I had written him into a dead end where I just HAD to kill him off, otherwise we'd be dealing with a whole bunch of mess this season that I really didn't want to get into. I really have enjoyed writing Emil this season, and I'm pretty excited to see if your opinion about his arc changes after the fifth episode of the season - sure, it could be looked at as a 'yo-yo' situation with him and his character, but technically that character died in last season's finale. The Emil that you'll see this season is very much the essence of that previous character, only he's more in touch with his humanity and is wanting to change. He's a bit of a mystery, something I felt would be great to add, especially for a small arc this season. I'm not sure if it would help looking at them as two different characters, or giving THIS SEASON's Emil a second chance, in terms of this 'yo-yo' thing, but I'm hoping to see how you react towards his future episodes that you read [he'll only be in four more episodes this season.] I, myself, have had a lot of fun writing him so far. His character gets the wrap-up I think he deserved all along, but it couldn't have been done unless he died last season. In all honesty, if Emil didn't die then he would have been back as a regular this season working on redemption, which I think we'd all realised that he was beyond that point, so this was a way for me to get out of that dead end, and start fresh, to conclude his character. Man I ramble... Wh - uh - what?! LMFAO. Again, I wonder if future episodes can change your opinion. They're not really 'together' yet, I honestly can't remember what episode it officially is established, I'm assuming "Lockdown," but I can't remember (My brain is too focused on the episode I'm writing now, and the episodes to follow that at the moment, lol). And I love writing Chloe/Bruce scenes. I think they're like the Chloe/Clark of the series -- they're great friends, they have enough chemistry to be that something more, but we don't know if it'll ever happen. Like Emil, I'm excited and anxious to see what you think about Selina/Bruce in upcoming episodes, and whether you're opinion changes or grows stronger against the idea of them. Thank you, MJ! Your reviews are always appreciated, and I love reading them. I can't wait to see what you think about the rest of the season so far, and hope you enjoy it just as much, if not more, than this episode!

I'm on a roll! Time for my review of episode 2.02 of Watchtower: Knight. So we open on your typical formal gathering with Bruce and Selina only to have Bruce pulled away from the party for some 'Batman' duties. There's really not that much to fault with the teaser at all. It sets up the episode well and also does a good job of introducing Bruce's role as the Dark Knight. One thing I did want to mention is one of the computers lines. When identifying Falcone the computer adds he belongs to 'one of the deadliest crime families in Gotham'. Something about that line just irked me, it seemed more like a human line than a piece of information a computer would read out. I really am nitpicking here though because, aside from that one line which had me raising an eyebrow, the teaser was very enjoyable Act 1, it seems like there's a lot of doubt going around. First Chloe doubting that they are really making a difference in the city, then Bruce doubting his abilities to actually fight these bad guys. I like that those two scenes sort of linked up through that theme, it's good to see that our favourite characters are struggling with this because it makes us even more eager to see them overcome their difficulties. Oh, and the little story that Bruce's dad used to tell him, is that something you made up or does it have it's roots somewhere I haven't heard of? Because I thought that was a fantastic addition to the scene and a lovely little piece of storytelling. I did have a little problem with the lines of action at the end of the scene with Chloe and Helena in act 1. Specifically this section: HELENA Then why would he help out your friend? “Friend?” Really.HELENA (CONT’D) Uh, heh. Mortal Enemy. That’s better.CHLOE (sighs) You’re probably right ... The lines in italics are the action lines but they don't seem like action lines, they seem more appropriate as dialogue. I know because we write scripts to be read and not acted out we do need to include a little more description in our action than is strictly necessary but those lines, and a couple of others throughout the script just don;t seem appropriate as description of action. My first time reading over it I actually thought they were dialogue and you'd just forgotten to put names in so it can make reading a little confusing. I honestly think those could have worked fine as dialogue lines too so I'm a little lose as to why they weren't. Introduction of the Dark Knight: exciting! I hope Chloe and the 'Dark Knight' get more scenes together. I love seeing Chloe interacting with our heros when they're all suited up XD Anyway, Act 2. Just gonna throw it out there but Guido's a bit of an ass. I mean, I know where he's coming from but still, poor Chloe Now onto Selina. I was pretty sure I wasn't going to like her character but I kinda do, except when she's sharing scenes with Bruce. I mean, she's a little bitchy and seems to cause trouble wherever she goes but I can appreciate a character who acts as a bit of an antagonist. Yet when she'd with Bruce her character, or should I say their characters together, just grate on me. Sorry Jack XD I did love the fact that she had the whole cat burglar deal going on this episode though Skipping act 3 and moving on to act 4, the scene between Oliver and Chloe at watchtower I loved. The tension was great, the dialogue was great. It was probably my favourite scene of the whole episode. Act 5: Loved all our heros working together, I hope we get to see that more this season. Also, I love it whenever Chloe gets to kick ass Soem more fantastic dialogue between Falcone and the Dark Knight at the end there. If you can't tell I'm a sucker for great dialogue I also like the voice over of Thomas Wayne and young Bruce, a nice telling moment there. Not much to add about act six that I haven't already said and this review is getting a little long so I'll cut to the chase All up I think this was an exemplary episode of Watchtower. There's really very little I disliked about it. I'm going to give it a 9/10. Although it was a great episode there were a few things (that were previously mentioned) that I had issue with but in the grand scheme of things they were very small issues. Loved the episode and can't wait to move on to episode 3
