Exclusive: Producers Reveal What's in Store for Trinity! In this exclusive one on one talk with Trinity's series creator, and executive producer, Chris Davis, questions arose in regards to the next set of episodes to air, what they will bring to both enhance the plot and characters of the series, as well as first insight on the series' return! What factors will stand in the way of Lana's love life? When will the continuous power play between the Checkmate all-stars come to a head? And what happens when the world our characters have come to know, get invaded by forces beyond their reach and understanding? Find out below! VSGUIDE | Trinity's return is approaching, and we're very excited to witness some of the plots touched on in past interviews. In the returning episode, Lana and co. will travel to the dimension Azarath, where Rachel will be put in control of everyone's fate. What can we expect from our characters in this episode and how will their visit influences the decision they'll make in the future?CHRIS DAVIS | "Realm" will ask our characters a lot of questions. They will have to face their most hidden fears, secrets and doubts, and in the end, their state of mind will definitely be affected. In particular, Quentin's first encounter with Valentina will occur in this episode, and even though it's not Valentina's real self, he will be forced to question his relationship with Lana, which will ultimately lead to a downfall in their life. A key aspect of the episode that fans should look out for is the idea of "identity," "betrayal," and remembering that "nothing is what it appears to be." Azarath will be portrayed as a very sadistic, violent and manipulative place, and the dark tone of the episodes plot will serve as a contrast to previous episodes. Aside from Quentin, Rachel will also be faced with a choice that will have a crucial impact on her character's role this season. We'll also get deeper into her true origins, which should be really exciting for fans of her story. VSGUIDE | The character of Valentina Vostok has been said to be very multidimensional. We don't quite know what side she's really on. When will that mystery be solved, and can we expect her character to remain in the background, or will she come to the forefront of the season, beside team Trinity?CHRIS DAVIS | Valentina's character hasn't done anything to lead us to believe she's not a good person, but from what we've seen of her in the future, and due to her past ties with Checkmate, we can only assume that she's not as innocent as Quentin believes she is. The ongoing mystery doesn't have a specific end-date, but many question will be brought up and answered during the second half of the season, as Valentina will join the main group, for a time. VSGUIDE | Lana's relationships have been focused on quite a lot this season. Clark Kent, Jason Teague, and Lex Luthor are all a part of season two; what affect will this have on Quentin? When Lana's past comes back to face her, will her relationship will continue rise or fall?CHRIS DAVIS | Lana's love life, overall, has been a roller coaster. I think some of her relationships have defined the kind of woman she has become today, and influenced the way she looks at the world. With Clark, she realized her potential and strives to make a difference in the world, unlike Lex, who strikes Lana's anger, darkness and passion. Lana needs both in order to survive, and now that her pasts will collide, she may find herself and her relationship with Quentin as premature, questioning whether or not they are right for one another. However, Quentin also has doubts, so it's not just Lana's past that will stand in the way of their love, but his as well. VSGUIDE |On the topic of love, Cynthia and Hank continue to grow closer as the season goes on. What's in store for them as an item? CHRIS DAVIS | I think the relationship between Cynthia and Hank is one of the more low-key pairs of the series. They only met recently, but there growing relationship will definitely develop as the season progresses. I think what I wanted from those two is a sense of comfort. When you see them, you should know that they really care for one another, and I made sure I was very careful with all of their scenes together, because they do have a relationship and friendship in the DC universe, and living up to that and leading them to where they should be has been both a pleasure and a struggle, because both characters, Cynthia especially, is one of the most improved and growing characters on the show. VSGUIDE | There hasn't been much focus on Pete Ross. What's up with that? Will he ever find love? Also, what can we expect from his character and relationships this season, in relation to the comics?CHRIS DAVIS | I admit, Pete has yet to get as much focus as the other characters, but that will all be changed this season. As Cynthia brought up in the premiere episode, Pete he will actually be the character destined to save them, so that insight will be interesting to tease throughout the course of the season because as we all know, the future is never set in stone, and things can be changed so, just because Cynthia said it would happen that way, doesn't mean it will actually come to be. On the topic of his love life, I wouldn't give up hope just yet. In the comics, Pete and Lana fall in love -- a storyline that is still on the fence in regards to "Trinity," but all of the producers are have worked very hard to satisfy even the biggest fans of his story. I can't reveal much, but it's safe to say that he won't be alone forever. VSGUIDE | Also, talk of a possible relationship between Pete and Cynthia has been rumored -- true or false?Late in season one, in Pete's very first scene with Cynthia, where was a connection. I purposely made it so that it would seem that every single character on the show could date one another at any point. [laughs] They all live in this crazy, action packed world, so it's only natural that they'd be attracted to one another. Also, when Pete visits Cynthia in the hospital, there are hints given to suggest a relationship, or encounter between those two characters, however -- a serious relationship has not been established yet. So, as of right now, that statement is more false than true. But really, "serious relationship" doesn't mean they won't have a "thing" once in a while, which may darken his relationship with growing buddy, Hank. VSGUIDE | The unmistakable bromance between Pete and Jake in season one was a fan favorite last year, however, that storyline has been put on hold. What can we expect from those two, as Jake returns to the group within the next two episodes? CHRIS DAVIS | To tell you the truth, I didn't believe it would become as popular and liked as it was. With the shows recent reformatting, you can thank executive producer, Jason Davis, for a certain change in the storyline between those two, and the overall season. They will regain that friendship, to the fullest, and the end result will be shocking, emotional and "right," I believe. VSGUIDE | Even though this show has established many villainous characters, Amanda Waller can definitely be said to be the favorite among fans. What we expect from her character this season, and what will her character-centric episode, "Wall," bring out about her past and what vibe will the episode bring that differs from the rest of the season/series?CHRIS DAVIS | Amanda's storyline this season will be, in a way, a redemptive one. Not that she's willing to admit that her methods are, at least, questionable, but she must accept the fact that her organization has been corrupted, and will have to make a decision to either attempt to regain her power, alone, or join Trinity in the fight, because truly, both parties want, more or less, the same thing. Amanda knows this, but may be too prideful and stubborn to acknowledge it. That plot will be threaded and expanded upon throughout the season, and her rocky relationship with Lex, and Valentina will intensify along the way. "Wall," serves as the very first episode of the series where we will not see our main characters. Pam Grier's character will take over the series, completely, for her character-centric episode, as we really dive into her mind and backstory, where we'll get to see how she became the woman she is now, what lead to joining Checkmate, and how past relationships and experiences will help her in the present. With guest stars such as John Glover, Cassidy Freeman, Lucas Grabeel, and Angel Coulby portraying a young Amanda Waller, the episode will almost read like another series entirely, which should be fun for the readers. VSGUIDE | In the most recent episode, is was hinted that Lex Luthor had a past with Valentina, and from his words, he may be in cahoots with her presently. Can you tell us anything about that?CHRIS DAVIS | There is definitely something Lex isn't telling us, and Valentina for that matter. Lex Luthor is known for being devious and manipulative, so it wouldn't be a total surprise if it turned out that those two had a more defined relationship. But, I've already said too much! [laughs] You won't get anything else out of me. VSGUIDE | One more question -- can you tell us anything about Rose Belle, and her secret? You've told us that she plays a major role this season, but we can't figure out how or when it will be revealed. What side will she be fighting for?CHRIS DAVIS | As of right now, it seems like Rose can go either way. We don't know anything about her, and the fact that you've all been spoiled about her role this season, makes it even more exciting for us to lead up to the big reveal. I can't tell you if she'll be with or against Lana, but I can say that her storyline is connected to that of new character Chase Winters, and both storylines lead back to a connection to Lana herself, and her family. It's a very complex plot -- something I really can't wait for. Trinity returns with all new episodes in mid-late March!

Okay, so I might be a little late to the party, but I love the "Black and White" poster, especially because Rachel is almost standing off on the dark side.

That promo was awesome! What the hell is this song? Its epic! Plus, seeing Lana and Lex is just too much to handle. Seriously need to read more of these two during the season. Its something I've been looking for since the show was renewed. XD I really hope you find inspiration to continue this series, at least until the end of the season because the first five episodes were insanely good! And I know you've got a lot of great episodes to follow. Anyway, awesome promo!

Alright. I'm about to start my rewrite of 2.06 "Realm." Trinity will not go to air again until I've completed writing, at least, episode 15. This season will have 19 episodes, so wish me luck. Also, if anyone is willing to come onto the project as a staff/freelance writer for this season or more, feel free to give me a PM

You have seen this episode guide before, but here is the updated version of it. I have removed quite a few stand alone episodes from the season, so ignore the out-of-order episode numbers on the promos. This is how the rest of the season will play out, in terms of episodes, which means I have 14 more to write, making season two a total of 19 episodes. EPISODE SIX"Realm," Part 1WELCOME TO THE DREAM WORLD - Rachel's powers are out of control as she accidentally sends the gang to another realm where they experience both their sweetest dreams and worst nightmares. The situation becomes dangerous when they discover that if they die in this world, they die in the real world as well. Lana sees visions of her past lovers (Tom Welling, Michael Rosebaum and Jensen Ackles guest star); Quentin finds himself being haunted by memories of Valentina (Ali Larter); Cynthia begins to remember her visit to the future, with the help of an old friend (Benjamin McKenzie guest stars); Pete (Sam Jones III) is tormented by vision of Jake (Paul Wesley) and what he must be going through inside of Checkmate; and Rachel (Lyndsy Fonseca) is about to discover her true origins as she is visited by her demonic biological father, Trigon. EPISODE SEVEN"Realm," Part 2WELCOME TO THE DREAM WORLD - Rachel's powers are out of control as she accidentally sends the gang to another realm where they experience both their sweetest dreams and worst nightmares. EPISODE EIGHT"Breakout," Part 3FROM ONE HELL TO ANOTHER - When Lana and co. return from Azarath, the city of Odyssey, New York is in ruins! Dozens upon dozens are dead, as the city is being held victim by a demon of Azarath. Meanwhile, out on the hunt for this monster, Lana is reunited with an old friend; Jack Gold returns! EPISODE NINE"Assassin"CHECKMATE HIRES AN ASSASSIN TO DEAL WITH RACHEL - When Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) forces Amanda (Pam Grier) to recruit an elite assassin for Checkmate, in order to get rid the growing problem, Rachel Roth (Lyndsy Fonseca), she finds a young metahuman by the name Chase Winters (Theo James). Now, after team Trinity, he unknowingly unlocks a new piece to the puzzle, in the war between Checkmate and Lana's team. Meanwhile, Lana's boss, Rose Belle (Lucy Lawless) is somehow tossed into the middle of the war, but what side is she on? EPISODE TEN"Wall"A CAUTIONARY TALE OF THE WHITE QUEEN - When Amanda Waller (Pam Grier) is summoned to speak at a conference for the CBI, we take a journey through her life as we go deep within her past, revealing dark secrets that have lead up to where she is now, and how she got there. Milo Ventimglia guest stars as Young Lionel Luthor. Both Cassidy Freeman and John Glover have a cameo appearance. EPISODE ELEVEN"Lex"FORMER LOVERS AND ENEMIES COME FACE TO FACE - When Checkmate holds an annual conference, Stuart Campbell (Ryan McDonell) returns to inform Lana (Kristen Kreuk) of the news. Now, as they devise a plan to crash the party, team Trinity finds themselves way over their head when each of them are individually questioned by the man himself -- Lex Luthor (Michael Rosebaum); Past tensions arise as Lana sees Lex for the first time since he "died." EPISODE TWELVE"Revelation"NOTHING IS WHAT IS APPEARS TO BE - As Lana looks to find a new way of dealing with Lex Luthor and Checkmate, she discovers that she's been fighting this war in the wrong manner, which leads her to enlisting the help of more than one hero-faction.
