 Possibly the best vampire related series since the good ole' Buffy and Angel days. No, I take that back -- it's definitely the best (In my opinion, of course) Just know that if you have a different opinion, you're wrong  jks jks Anyways, let's discuss this epic, excited and raunchy HBO series! |

What can I say? It's fun. It's not a masterpiece, it's not a study on modern society, but it is fun. Some of the characters are good (Jason, Jessica, Eric, Pam) while others aren't (Sookie, yeah I hate the main character, Tara).
Also, the amount of boobs is ridiculous. I mean I like them, but come on. Plus the male ass doesn't help.
So, good series. Not the best but its fun and I like it.

I agree with Carey on this one. True Blood is a nice show to watch but, there are times where I just want to BANG my head against a wall and cry. But, I think that comes along, at some point, with any show that I watch.

I didn't really enjoy this season as much as I thought I would. I'm going to try to leave a big review of the overall season soon but, knowing me I probably won't get to it. rolf

I'm not that excited for the next season. Mainly because I've figured out that True Blood usually starts off okay, then sucks brutally, then has one or two great episodes mid-season, then continues to suck, and then the last two or three episodes are either mindblowingly awesome, decent, or suck. Conclusion: True Blood kind of sucks lately. But ... One of the exec producers said that Tara's story isn't over yet, which made me happy. But then I remembered there are ghosts everywhere, and so that sort of made me depressed. |

^^ I agree with that, immensely -- though my original post to this thread may lead people to believe otherwise. My defense -- I was extremely high from KOOL AID when I wrote that "True Blood" was the best vampire series since Buffy. That or, I had just watched a brilliant episode of True Blood, and a extremely bad ep. of Vampire Diaries (which happens quite often) Ugh, so tired of "these" vampires.
I've gone way off topic now, but the next vampire series I get into BETTER be set in the 1800s.

True Blood's latest season kind of pissed me off. A lot. I don't know if I was blacking out during a lot of the shit that went on, or if it was brought up randomly in some boring scene that I probably fell asleep on, but, did we ever find out if Pam fixed the curse on her? Or is she still rotting to death?

I'm on the fifth episode and loving it. Jason, Lafayette, Tara, Pam and Eric are awesome. Especially Lafayette in this episode, with his "AIDS-Burger". One of the best "Hell Yeah!" moments I've seen.

I seriously forgot all about this show. Damn, guess that goes to show how much season 4 sucked. I really don't miss it, and crave a new season as I had in the past. Still gonna watch season 5 though.
