One of my favorite memories of watching this show is watching Once More With Feeling with Brady! I've seen the episode so many times but it was great seeing his reactions to it. I'm so glad he loved it as much as he did and my rewatch with him has been my favorite viewing of the show since my first, initial one!

"Super Ball" REVIEWThe second episode of The Super Teens S2 really matched the quality of the premiere. I was so surprised to see that Chosen had invited not only the triplets, but everyone they associate with to this ball at the Chosen mansion. It such a show of power and a really ballsy move so early on in the season. I'm even more interesting in finding out what Alexander's motives are, as they're pretty unclear at the moment. We really get to see more from his character in this episode; just the way he acts and what kind of person he is. And I've come to the conclusion that he's a complete and total sociopath with a lot of issues he needs to work out. He's a man that likes to play games and get into people's heads, made evident by him shooting himself, knowing Sara would end up healing him, and him just sending Katrina to kill the Knox's friends so out of the blue and nonchalantly. As a villain, I like him because he's so unpredictable and dangerous. Even though we didn't see Debbie, Shela or the other recruits in this episode, we did get a closer look at how Chosen operates; seeing the agents out in the field, doing what they do. Joshua and Agatha had a good arc in this episode. Connecting that arc with Ashlock's was smart. I'd like her to get even more involved in taking down Chosen. Though, this new partner of hers.... Eric hasn't done anything to warrant any suspicions from me, but now that I know that someone will betray them all and be working for Chosen, I'm finding it very hard to trust anyone. HAHA! I've got my eye on him. Putting Lucy and Fred in the middle of the danger in this episode was great. Well, not great because I don't want to see them getting hurt, but in terms of story, I want to see more of that. They even had a little chat about what their role in their friends' lives are now that they have powers. They don't know where they fit in and that's gonna be an interesting storyline, I feel. I'm just glad they finally know everything (for the most part). And aren't being lied to and kept in the dark. Looking forward to seeing what you have planned for them both this season. My love for Sara grows with every single episode, Brady. I mean, I love Janice and Clark too, but Sara is on a whole different level. There's just something about her that I'm really drawn to and I need her to be happy always and forever. haha! But overall, this was a very solid addition to TST! I'm looking forward to continuing Debbie's storyline in the next episode!

Alright, finally got to season two!! Let's go! "Super Gone" - REVIEWIt's been two weeks since Debbie went missing and the state of the triplets is actually pretty heartbreaking. They've shut themselves out from their friends, from the Uucsio's, essentially from the world. I can't imagine what they must be going through, but I'm hoping they don't have to go through much longer. #Prayers4Debbie But no, I liked that we got to see their raw emotion from what happening, and some time has gone by and they're still a wreck, if not more so than they were when it first happened. As for Debbie, I was very intrigued with her plot in this episode. Like I've said before, Chosen is probably one of things I'm most interested in, just because of how mysterious they are. How long has it been around? Is Alexander it's first founder? How many agents are there really and how far do they operate? All around the country? Around the world? Are they funded by the government? Is this some kind of conspiracy we've got going on? I need to know what their mission and goals are; and how they choose their agents. Is it completely random? Or is there something specific they look for in people? That's gonna be really cool to find out and I'm looking forward to it! Bringing back Shela from that episode in season one was very cool. I always wondered what really happened to her. I had a feeling something weird was going on there. I thought she was gonna be working for Chosen, already a field agent, but it looks like she's just another recruit like Debbie. I really enjoyed her role in the premiere. She seems like she's lost all hope. She's been there longer than Debbie has, so she tries to warn her about what she's going to face while she's inside. And Debbie, having such a strong spirit, isn't having any of that. She's dead set on escaping and I really think she will. She's gonna pull a Nikita and bring Chosen down! We also get a new super-powered villain in Holly, who I was shocked to find out she's Jonathan's sister! I thought that was pretty clever, and her abilities were very cool. She was a force to be reckoned with and really did a lot of damage; most of all to Heather *sobs* I'm hoping she returns, and possibly teams up with her brother. That'd be cool. Awful for all the characters I love, but cool. HAHA! I think every time we see a new character that was affected by Bright Day, I get uber excited to see if they'll be good or bad, and what their powers will be. It seems like we've mostly seen bad guys, so it would be cool to meet a character with powers who isn't crazy. Haha! Detective Ashlock's part in this episode was nice to see. Probably one of the biggest things I wanted in season one was to see her join Team Knox. I think I need a better name for them. Do you have one? haha But it's so good to see that wish finally granted. They work so well together and I think her involvement can only help them do more good. I liked the mentions we got of Dr. Rivers. We can still tell he's constantly on her mind and she might have a bit of PTSD from shooting, as she was shaking when pointing that gun at Holly; ended up not being able to take the shot. I think that's very realistic and interesting and I'd like to see more of that. Hopefully she's able to find peace in what happened. All in all, this was a very cool premiere. I enjoyed it lots! I'm gonna need Heather to not go away though. I love her! Hope we see what comes of that whole thing with the alley in the next episode, which I will be reading very soon P.S. No Paco in this episode. I was disappointed. I hope he's doing okay. He's such a bae. haha

REVIEW: The Super Teens (Season One)
The first season of The Super Teens was a fun, thrilling ride full of great character moments, engaging storylines and some of the most well written and intense action sequences of anything I've ever read. Series creator, Brady Brown takes the idea of everyday teens getting superpowers and is able to create something unique and interesting. Taking a more science fiction based approach, made most apparent in characters like Dr. Uucsio, who often uses his intelligence and scientific knowledge to assist our heroes, the show is able to maintain a sense of realism in rather otherworldly circumstances.
The show also combines a few different stylistic approaches. When reading, you can't help but get comic book vibes. And of course I mean that in a good way. There are also some subtle hints of other shows thrown into The Super Teens', such as Smallville and Charmed. It's a serious, emotionally charged, character and plot driven series, but it's also about friendship and family and even lighter themes to balance the darker elements. That's part of The Super Teens' charm. It seems knows exactly what kind of show it is, which makes it easy to get invested in.
The two part season opener, "Super Start" truly lives up to the name, which its fast paced narrative that never seems to really take a break. Starting with such a bang (literally), we immediately get to see how the main characters (Janice, Clark and Sara) act under pressure. We're also able to form a bond with them quickly, as we're constantly learning things at the same rate they are.
By episode three, "Super Scent," we're pretty much familiar with all the characters and their relationships with each other. And we also get a taste of a procedural/freak of the week styled approach. However, even though this series sometimes relies on that format, the ever lingering threat of the, then unnamed 'Upsville Killer' and other villainous persons and organizations, are seamlessly threaded throughout the season, making for a more serialized tone, especially in the later half.
Perhaps one of the strongest aspects of the series lies in the characters. Our trio of super-powered siblings, Janice, Clark and Sara Knox have a very typical, relatable and passionate bond, even though they're not always in agreement with each other. The two girls seem to butt heads the most, but when they're able to look past their differences and work together, it makes for a very powerful show of the strength of family. Because this show, at its core, is about family. And that definitely shines through in those tender scenes with the triplets, and their mother Debbie.
Speaking of Debbie, this bold, committed mother is definitely one of the standout characters of season one. Not only does she manage to love and support her kids in all that they're going through, but she's also pretty bad ass her self. Moms (or parents, in general) of super-powered children are typically one of two things, oblivious of the entire thing and shoved in the background or used as leverage and is in need of saving every other week. Debbie Knox takes up neither of those roles. She's her own woman, has her own storylines and that makes me care for and want to root for her even more. (Just read "Super Mom" if you don't believe me)
Though the Upsville Killer (later revealed to be named Cloranda) is the major antagonist of the season, other antagonistic forces like the group Chosen, is what really catches my interest. It's so shrouded in mystery and will obviously come more to the forefront in season two. But that doesn't mean Cloranda wasn't a foe worthy of your attention. She was a wickedly evil, manipulative space witch who has no problems killing anyone who got in the way of her getting her powers back. My point is, she was brilliant! She read like a some classic comic book villain. Sometimes a bit over the top, but in a way that made you love to hate her even more. She had many minions at her disposal, most notably in a character named Jonathan who you will more than likely despise with all your being. But even he serves his purpose to the story, and is a viable threat for the Knox triplets. All in all, The Super Teens has some pretty great bad guys.
The pace of The Super Teens seems to build with each passing episode. While the pilot starting pretty strong, the scope simply reaches new heights in the two part season finale! With Cloranda revealing her origins and setting up so many possibilities for future storylines and seasons. I'm looking forward to dig into season two of the Super Teens and anyone reading this review should jump on this SUPER awesome bandwagon (I'm sorry, I had to do it at least one)
Overall, The Super Teens is something special and is certainly unlike anything the VPN has ever seen in terms of style and tone. With memorable moments, characters and a head writer with a genuine love for the story, I can't help but completely be in love with The Super Teens for everything it is. Already a classic in my book.

Feel free to ignore these reviews. They're gonna be all over the place as I read most of these episodes weeks ago. haha! I just really wanted to give you some my thoughts. 4.13 "WTF"This episode seems to pick back up right where the last one left off. Alisha's still freaking out and confused over what just happened with Kelsey. I really hope she's able to figure things out. I've enjoyed the scenes between Rose and Robbie with them trying to fulfill their dreams together. I'm glad things seem to be coming together for them. Alex and David scenes have been some of my favorite, really, ever since season one. I hope they stay friends forever. They are the original Zawson. haha! I love that they can still be friends outside of their relationships with Alisha. I'm glad David or Alisha haven't forced Alex to pick sides between them, and it just goes to show how good friends he is with both of them. Rose and Robbie singing Arctic Monkeys. I must be in heaven. I can't wait to see where this leads for them! 4.14 "Monster Trial"Here we go! The episode we waited for! The 50th episode of Audition! Jordan and Angela's return! I was really excited about this episode. It seemed like it came just in time, as I had been thinking about what Angela and Jordan were up to soon before you announced they'd be coming back for this episode. And it sure did live up to the hype! I love that we got Alex and David prepping for the trial, then the parallel with Alisha and Rose. It's good to see them supporting each other in all this. Then Alisha gets a call from Angela. That surprised me. I like that even though they're nowhere close to friends, Alisha was willing and able to comfort her and calm her fears. It was nice to see and it made me want more. I'd love for them to become better friends some day. I loved the cute little bit of Rolex that we got. Alisha going to Kelsey for help. I loved that! Even though they still haven't discussed why Alisha disappeared, Kelsey was able to see that Alisha was going through something and needed her advice. I'm glad she was able to set everything aside and help her friend. And I'm really enjoying this relationship. I pray to god everything works out for them! Even if they don't get anything romantic started, I see all the makings of a really nice friendship here. Onto the actual trial, seeing Jordan again was crazy. It went better than I was expecting though. I thought it would get way more messy than that haha! Ending on Alex and Alisha was really nice. I really treasure those moments where they can just talk and reflect on everything that's happened. It was so good to read, and very fitting for such a milestone episode. And then, the tag at the end with Michael and Paula. That was just brilliant! HAHA! I love you for that. 4.15 "K-I-S-S-I-N-G"Can I just say, that David's daydream was not only probably one of my favorite moments in Audition history, but in VS history all together! HAHA! I love how much you can get away with doing in a show like this. It reminded me of something I'd see in Broad City, and ironically, we get the introduction of Tabbi and Yana in this episode. Welp, this double date wasn't half as awkward as I thought it was going to be when I first started reading. I like that David's just got a bunch of money so he's spending it on new comic books and taking his friends to fancy restaurants. I'm just in love with David Sullivan. Alex and Rose plan to "hang out." Aww sh*t, what's going on there? Michael meeting Tabbi and Yana! This is going to be such a wild ride. I'm already loving these two ladies. They're so crazy and high all the time. Really, could you have picked more perfect actresses for these roles? I love how Audition can turn from hilarious to serious in a moment's notice. I loved the conversation between Alisha and Paula. It's one of those things I didn't know I needed until it happened. More scenes between them! Pretty please! And you didn't stop with Paula feels. You just had to give me David feels right after. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Mia and David are such a good surprise this sequence. I never thought they'd even have a dynamic, let alone me enjoying it so much. They're so interesting together. And I love how this has progressed. And we get them kissing! I'm so here for it. Alex and Rose's scene was very meaningful and sweet. Very realistic and relatable for people at that young age and I just enjoyed every second of it. I liked how subtle everything was. It was just a really well put together love scene. Great episode, Brady! Really enjoyed this one! 4.16 "INMATE #230529"Judy's leaavvinngg?? *SOBS* It's been real. But I guess this day had to come sooner or later. I wish we'd gotten more Judy this sequence. Her relationship with Paula is definitely entertaining. And her attraction to Michael always brings a smile to my face. Love that they got to spend her last day there together. And she tells her that she's going to see Jace. I liked how Judy didn't really agree with that idea but still supported Paula's decision. Then we get a little lighter with Michael, Tabbi and Yana. Their mystery french fries were great. Whenever someone mentions fries in a script, I'll always think of you and your obsession with them haha! Can't wait to hear what this script Michael's writing for them is all about. I can only imagine it's something really surreal and ridiculous. One of my favorite lines of the episode was Tabbi's "Only if he's okay doing full frontal nudity!" haha! Oh gosh! Finally, we get another scene with Alisha and Kelsey. I love that Kelsey's willing to still be friends with Alisha. She's going through a pretty huge point in her life and I think she needs all the support she can get right now. So I'm happy they were able to make up like that. Rose and Robbie have a little spat after Robbie lost them their gig. I understand where Rose was coming from with her anger. It's only natural. And I know that Robbie obviously didn't mean for it to happen that way. So, I hope they can still find a way to work together and just get their heads straight and communicate more. And finally, Paula and Jace come face to face. It gave me bad chills how gross Jace was being! I was itching all over. lmao! But Paula stood her ground and told him what was up! Really enjoyed that and I hope she's got some closure and came finally move on and stop torturing herself over this. I'm gonna miss Judy! She's gotta come back though? Right? At some point. I have faith. 4.17 "Awko Taco"This was such a good episode. Holy shit. I love how well Alex and Alisha know each other. I mean, after all this time being best friends, it's to be expected, but I love when we're able to see it. Alisha mentioning 'Rolex'! haha Amazing. I've been loving all the scenes we've gotten so far between Michael, Tabbi and Yana. Now including Paula in all this, this can only get better from here. She seemed so giddy and amazed by the two of them. It was so cute. I want the four of them to form a team and have their own miniseries or something with just them haha! But seriously, really enjoyed this because we get a sneak peek at what Michael has been writing. And my god, it sounds wild. Rattlesnakes? Trips to Iceland? Kidney replacement surgeries? Only you could come up with this stuff. That ending though. Somehow the police are getting involved and I don't know why but things are about to be pretty interesting. This party scene was something else. I love the little interaction between Rose and Alex. Made me realize how much I love and appreciate Rose. You've done such a good job with her character. Of course David and Mia are there together. I don't know how I didn't see that coming but holy god! I can already tell shit's about to hit the fan. I loved how all the characters were kind of bouncing all over the place, talking to each other. Trying their hardest to avoid something awkward, but this episode is called Awko Taco, so we all know that's not gonna happen. Favorite line of the episode was Mia "Do you want some?" I was jut cracking up. I love Mia. Bless her. Mia and David! They're going to mess around and become one of my favorite relationships on the show. You've really set their dynamic up so well, and it's become such an interesting relationship to read. Mia almost calling David her boyfriend. Her admitting that she was jealous of Alisha not only because of her talent, but because of David. Mia's been such a standout for me this sequence. I'm really loving where this is going. Hope it doesn't all come tumbling down in the next episode, but it's always a possibility I have to consider and be ready for. Kelsey teaching Alisha how to dance. Oh my god. Gave me all kinds of Malira feels haha! Really enjoyed reading that even though it sort of ended with Alisha running off again. I just feel for both Alisha and Kelsey. Alisha's obviously got things she needs to work on and figure out, and I think Kelsey can help her with that. And Kelsey obviously has some feelings for Alisha that she keeps thinking might be reciprocated, but things end up getting so confusing and messy. They just need to sit down and have a really long talk about their feelings. I think Kelsey can really help her understand what she's going through, if Alisha's able to be honest with her. So, I hope we get something like that soon! Alisha and David's inevitable reunion. I knew it was coming. And I'm still not ready for it. This has been such a wild ride! I'm looking forward to seeing how it all turns out in these last three episodes of S4! Sorry for these really crappy reviews. I just needed to get SOMETHING out there because I love this show so much and wanted to show my support!

Gave this a read yesterday, and I gotta say, I agree with a lot of what Brady has already said. But I'm going to try and point out a few things that weren't covered in his review.
The year is 2102, and we're on another planet. I would have liked to see more science fiction elements throughout the script. I don't know if it was your intention to create a present-day Earth like setting, but that's what I got. Which is completely fine if that's what you were going for. I really enjoyed the time travel aspect that we got to see with the portals popping up in places. It was cool and different and it makes me want to read more.
In terms of structure, the pilot seemed to start in the middle, instead of the beginning. We're just kind of tossed into this story with very little set up or idea of what's going on. I think in some instances, that method can be good and interesting. But here, there were so many new ideas that weren't explained well enough and things that could have used a bit development, and that made me feel a bit confused in some places. I don't think I've ever wanted to see MORE exposition. It's always us wanting less. But I think you could use just a little bit here.
I don't want to repeat much of what the others have said but I have to agree about Carrie's story. That seemed a bit disjointed and out of place. It came together in the end, but I think some of those scenes with Hal and Lyle could have been cut. And that time could have been better spent developing the characters and main plot points of the episode.
I think this was a technically sound script. Well written dialogue and action, albeit a little clunky. But nothing a thorough edit couldn't fix. Gordon and Trissa are characters who really jump off the page well. I look forward to seeing more from them. I think the other characters have potential to be just as interesting to read. I apologize it took so long to give this a read. But I did enjoy the story you're telling and think it has so much potential.

REVIEW: 1.08 "F*ck CBS" This week definitely picked up the pace as we saw Freya step out to try and earn some extra money, and got a glimpse of a newfound trio of the form of JGL, Joshua, and Andrew. the former certainly packed an emotional punch, as Freya, and the audience, saw a extremely dark side of the modeling business. Freya's really had it rough this sequence, notably her two standout scenes - when she enters her hotel room, and her photography scene. She's been a real standout so far, and it's hard to read (not because it's not well written, because it is) because she's such a kind, good-natured soul and it's difficult to see such bad things happen to such genuinely nice people. Her "vagina" line was so cute, and I loved that little interaction with Emily where she's proud she's rubbing off on her. I just really like that relationship in general, and I hope Emily is able to comfort and support Freya after this scarring experience for her. One thing about that scene, though, was that I wish it could have been expanded on a bit. Maybe Freya having a conversation could have heightened the stakes of the moment, but that's just me. Overall, really loved it. I'm glad I was able to make you really feel for Freya. That scene in particular was actually pretty hard to write for me. Just didn't like putting her through that crap. But I think her character ends up growing from it in an important way that we'll no doubt be seeing soon. She'll have some nice triumphant scenes too. So don't worry. She's not just the show's punching bag. I want Emily and Freya to sort of become support systems for each other. It probably won't happen this sequence, but sometime in S2, they'll definitely have a better relationship. So that conversation is definitely coming! Joshua's flirting will probably get him in big trouble one day, but I think he's safe for now. I honestly couldn't think of an original idea for them to have so I just used one of my old ones. I really wanted this show to talk about how the industry is changing. And the different avenues creators can go in to get their work noticed. I took a few classes in college about it and it always interested me. Hopefully some day I'll explore those options myself. But I'm getting sooo off topic aren't I? Shawn has some pretty big moments in the next four episodes. I think he's been the one character who's been mostly in the background this sequence, but you'll finally get to see him coming to the forefront in these last handful of episode. I'll have to make you wait and see about the super fan. You're right, it could go either way. Thanks for the feedback, Brady! Freya's definitely been a favorite for me to write, so I'm glad you're liking her!

REVIEW: 4.12 - Never Have I EverI love that we're getting Alisha questioning her sexuality and doing research and really trying to understand this new thing she's discovering about herself. It's such a relatable storyline and the way you've put it together has been so realistic and respectful to anyone who's gone through the same or similar experience! I just love it. It's probably one of my favorite storylines of this sequence! Alex and Rose holding hands, talking about video games. Perfect ship is perfect! I've always really loved their relationship and even though it's gone to some new heights this sequence, they're still the same Rose and Alex I came to love three sequences ago. Which probably means one or both of them will get their heart broken pretty soon and I'm really not ready for that. But whatever happens, I'm sure it'll be well written and compelling, so I can't really complain much for something that hasn't and may not even happen. Still nervous though. I always appreciate the scenes we get with David and his moms. They have such a nice family dynamic that's really fun to read, with David seeming to constantly be embarrassed by them, and them eager or at least willing to love the things David loves and get into comics to have something in common with him. It's just really sweet and I loved reading that. Now we get to Michael and Paula, who always have such amazing scenes together and this is no different. The Nikita and Battlestar Galactica mentions were amazing. And Paula not saying the name correctly literally had me in tears. I just love their relationship soo much! But you already knew that. I love it when Paula gets all wise and insightful. It's gives her character more dimension and really shows how much she's grown, while still being the same old Paula. Her words for Michael really touched me. I don't know what either of them would do without the other. The dinner scene and them talking about comics and superheroes the whole time was great. David was so great here. He seemed so excited about Alex loving Batman. I've said this before, but their friendship is a highlight for me every week. I've started to like them together maybe a bit too much. haha But I can't really help it. Then Alex gets that money, which should lead to some interesting stuff in the next episodes. I'm saying this like I haven't already read them. lmao NOW onto the scene I've been waiting for. Every time you get to put Alisha and Kelsey together, I get a little tense, weak in the knees and excited all at the same time. They have such a nice, fluid relationship that just reads very naturally. Kelsey's such a cool character. And for some reason they decide to play Never Have I Ever, which always seems to end badly, but I loved it. Anyway, it ends with an "almost" kiss and Alisha running for the hills in confusion. I'm really feeling this arc, Brady! I feel it in my bones! Looking forward to seeing how things pick up in the next episode.
