Very nice pitch! Finally, a female hero in her own series, and not simple as a side-character in a male hero's series!

I think Jamie Bamber looks much better for Chris. Good choice! Overall, I'm really looking forward to seeing what you do with this.

Transylvania? Seriously? And by the way, isn't it kind of hypocritical of you to say you sort of liked the films on MSN and then go and say they sucked badly. First you say one thing, and then another. Other than that... I think this could be good. I'd love to help, being a Resident Evil fan myself. But seriously... Transylvania? I beg you, please edit it to America. Racoon City is not in Transylvania. That thing alone would kind of ruin it for me, lol. I like everyone you've cast (especially James Marsters as Wesker), except Chris. That actor just doesn't strike me as Chris.

Yeah, the title isn't one of my best but it's all I've got at the moment. I'll probably change it later down the track but I haven't had much luck coming up with anything better. If you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them Well, something involving the number "Three", since it seems to be mainly about the three friends and what they become.

This sounds really good. Though, I'm not a fan of the title. The movies seem to focus on all three of them, and yet it is entitled "Story of A Hero". I think the title should somehow reference all three of them.

Not just that... but the majority of the people are really, really messed up over there. Sometimes, I get scared how many morons there are over there at You Tube. It's such a barbaric community consisting mostly of idiots that just swear all the time and say racist/homophobic things.

Sounds great. I'd love to help out with the planning, maybe do a bit of writing as well. It would be nice to be apart of the project. Do you have MSN? It would probably be better for talking about the show and what not. My hotmail is buffyproductions@hotmail.com lol I added it, but it was just mail. Do you have MSN? It would be much easier to discuss things through that. I'll PM you my MSN.

I'm so happy right now. LOL This is definitely something I'm interesting in since I'm a huge fan of the show. I once planned a SG:A Continuation but called it off because I didn't think I could live up to the quality that the show had. It was such a smart, well thought out series and I wasn't sure I'd be able to to produce it at that same quality that the writers did. But all in all, I'm still very interested to see what you come up with in your pilot because I support the statement that there are many more stories to tell. Re-writing the last two episodes of s5 is a good idea as well. I love the episodes you've come up with so far. They have the Stargate: Atlantis feel, without a doubt. Looking forward to seeing the guide for the entire season. Good luck with this. Can't wait for more. P.S. - You get extra points for adding Lorne to the main cast. He's been around since the beginning and I was hoping they'd give him a larger role, so it's cool that you're bringing him in now. I'm really glad you like it. And if you have any episode ideas or plot-arc ideas, etc. don't hesitate to share them with me. If you want, you could be like a creative consult for the series, if you want, since you're also such a big SGA fan. You could also be a writer. I'll be needing help with plotting and writing... so, another SGA fan would be great to have onboard. And as for a pilot... well, I'll rewrite the last two episodes of season 5 and put them up here in the pitch, and we can call that a "pilot".

Alright, I've done some thinking... and have decided to completely scrap "Vegas" and "Enemy At The Gate" (the last two episodes of season five) and rewrite them, to create an open door for the storylines I had in mind for the sixth season.

I haven't seen the real show before yet. I've been meaning to, I think Chris was urging me to at one point. I will have to do some research before reading your pilot so I can understand everything. I think, with any show, there's always more stories. You could do eleven seasons of a show, and pass it on to someone else to do another eleven seasons with their ideas and vision. Of course, shows nowadays get cancelled around season 4, but all I want to stress enough is that it may not 'seem' needed, but if someone has more stories to tell, it'll be just fine. Like with Buffy continuations. Some are great because they're new and fresh, while others don't really pull me in because its all fan-domy. It ended with Buffy wrapped up. Her character ready to move on. But more stories can be told. With Charmed, all the sisters' lives were wrapped up nicely, showing us their amazing future. But now the show has been continued in comic form -- with several more stories being told. So, I say goodluck. I can't really post much else on this pitch because I don't really know and understand the show -- but I'll check out the pilot and the extra info you'll post up like bios and episodes. XD Thanks. Yeah, that was the main-reason I decided to do this continuation... because it really felt like there were many more stories that could be told in the universe of SGA, and that the end felt so rushed. It truly feels as if there should have been more.

Now I haven't seen the finale but why exactly would they want to return? Things seem to have come full circle, with them leaving earth for Pegasus in the pilot to them leaving Pegasus for Earth in the finale. I don't know, this just doesn't seem needed. I think it does seem needed. The show was put down so quickly and in such a rushed way. It could have well went on for a couple of more season, or at least for one more season. And as for why they'd want to return... well, if you had seen the finale, Sheppard and Ronon in the infirmary even mentioned that "I doubt they'd let us return to Pegasus" etc. and why would they want to stay on Earth? They still have things to do in Pegasus... they are much more needed over there. It just seems so pointless that Atlantis is on Earth... what can It possibly do there?

I've seen a discussion like this over on MZP. And they're opinion on it is that it varies. I think 9 pages is fine, but that would mean you shouldn't have 9 page acts. Acts should always be bigger than the teaser. But shows like Dollhouse where the episode is a 50 minute installment, the Teaser's tend to be longer. My suggestion is that keep the 9 page teaser (as its a pilot), go through the whole script with all your material. And once you're done see if anything needs editing. I know that a lot of the time I've had to move chunks from some acts into another, and have separated part of a TEASER into the first act because of its length and place. If it works, keep it. And Tom East is right. Usually its around five pages for a teaser, and 8-12 page acts. But thats just the usual. It depends on the show and how you picture your series. If its a 40 min show, a 30 min, or a 50 minute. Pilots usually go over the full 40, on occassion, and so the bulk is bound to be bigger. But try to remember that the TEASER is meant to get things going, pull is in for the episode. And if it drags on for too long, it may not grasp that. Man I can rant on... Short Response: A Nine page teaser is fine. Well, I'm very descriptive with some things, so that may be why the teaser is so long. And only the pilot will have a 9-page teaser, the other episodes will have much shorter teasers.

VBCtv is back as of August 1. The new website is being worked on now and we will relaunch as a new network with some old shows and some new. We feel VBCtv got too big and overrun by shows that weren't in the top quality as they should have been. Well, as long as you keep the old shows, such as "Lone Wolves" and shows like that.

How many pages should a teaser be? The teaser of "Genesis" is 9/10 pages long, so I was wondering if that's normal, or does it have to be shorter?
And as for the acts, how many pages should an act be?

Alley?

I have a scene in the teaser of the pilot of "Secret Societies" where there is a cut from the inside of a restaurant to an alley. So, I was just wondering... is an alley INT or EXT? The same question can be asked for arenas and places like that? Perfectly good question. Its an exterior shot. I don't know about arenas though...but when something is outside, not in a building, warehouse, or things like that, its EXT. Thanks for the help. I'll go edit it to EXT right away.

But I'd like to think that you would at least ask questions and seek answers before jumping to the conclusion that we have no idea what we're writing about. This isn't an assumation - you can't read! I quite clearly said that maybe I was mistaken, perhaps you did know everything about running a business in an extremely complex industry. And I did ask questions, I did ask you to explain but you didn't seem to understand my question. Not that I'm anymore convinced, you didn't really explain anything to me, you just stated that you knew everything and that you'd done research. Not sure how exactly, unless one of you is currently working for a network...maybe you are. If you are, sorry. I take everything back. Why do you make such a big deal out of everything? Ever since you joined, all I've sensed from you is negative energy. You point out something, then spend 10 posts repeating and repeating it... just let it go already. Stop making such a big deal out of things.
