 So as you all know....The event "Avengers vs Xmen" has attracted my interest and is probably going to be one of the BIGGEST events since the Phoenix. So i thought it would be a good idea to gauge everyone's opinion on whose side they would choose in the coming battle's Will you stand with the Xmen or stand with the Avengers? |

The X-Men. I'm sorry, but I always and forever stand with the X-Men. There is no reason for this event, but if I had to pick I side, well, yeah.
But like Kerry, I hate the idea and I wish they wouldn't do it.

I'm on Team X-Men, even though I love both teams. I hope this story will be interesting, if only for bringing back the Phoenix Force.

I still don't like that they are doing this....but if I had to pick I go Avengers. Which is odd because I remember a time when I wouldn't AT ALL.

I can't imagine siding with the Avengers because I totally agree that what Cyclops wants to do is the right thing. The Phoenix Force means destruction, yes, but also rebirth. The mutant race is dying out. He has every reason to fight for it.

I only chose X-Men because Gambit was my favorite superhero. I used to have playing cards as a kid I would throw at my sister. Yeah I was badass. LOL.

The Phoenix, obviously. She has to come back to Earth and knock some sense into all of them.

No, but really. I can see it from both sides, I think. But...I just, I really think the Avengers need to back off. The X-Men have dealt with the Phoenix on MULTIPLE occasions. They KNOW what they're doing. Cyclops has had to personally deal with it so many times that he has every right to tell the Avengers to step the hell off. He KNOWS what he's doing and he's trying to save his race from going extinct. I mean, we've seen how much the entire thing has changed him. He's had to become the second Magneto just to make sure the mutants don't die out. Can you imagine what that's like for him? Then for Captain America to declare war on a dying race? Fuck that and fuck you Captain America. This is so ridiculous. I hate this entire thing, but I have to say the X-Men are right here. It's kill or be killed for them right now, and the Phoenix is pretty much their only hope (Haha pun totally intended). The Avengers need to let it go.

I honestly think they are both going about this the wrong way.
I mean the Avengers shouldnt get involved because the other times Phoenix came around they werent there to help. But now they are suddenly experts?
Then there are the Xmen who seem to think that this shouldnt concern anyone else. Even though they had infighting which caused them to split into different factions. And for the record the fact that most of them knew Jean personally ALONG with the Phoenix makes this situation even worse. Considering they have there own personal feelings involved with this thing

It's a weird and unnecessary concept, but I feel as though it is going to affect both teams drastically. I'm personally loving the cover to an upcoming issue of Avengers Academy with all of the students in X-Men uniforms!
