Alright, I don't think we have one of these and if we do, I apologize but basically this thread is a place to list and discuss your favorite (and least favorite) comic books.

May we post about Favorite Characters?
If so....
I LOVE Hawkman and Hawkgirl from DC. Don't know if that's just me.
And I love Jean Grey and Cyclops from Marvel.
Favorite Comic Book of all time is The Sandman . I just think it's got great character development and narrative. ;D

I have a lot of them, and the list is constantly growing. Please note they're all Marvel -- I don't read DC. In no particular order:
FAVORITES (SERIES):
- Spider-Girl (what originally got me into Marvel to begin with) - Amazing Spider-Girl - Spectacular Spider-Girl - Ultimate X-Men - Ultimate Spider-Man - Uncanny X-Men - Amazing Spider-Man - X-Men: First Class (Modern retelling of the X-Men First Class)
FAVORITES (MINI-SERIES/EVENTS):
- Carnage (Epic Iron Man / Spider-Man team-up) - Avengers/Young Avengers: Children's Crusade (I can't read all of it yet, but I've read the first six issues and it's amazing) - X-Men - Phoenix: Endsong (Another amazing mini-series, one of the best that I've read, ever) - Spider-Girl: THE END (While it was the end of my favorite series of all time, it was still really, really good). - X-Men: God Loves, Man Kills - X-Men: First Class FINALS - Spider-Girl: Last Hero Standing - Civil War: X-Men - S.W.O.R.D - X-Men: Search For Cyclops - X-Men: Season One (Another more modern retelling of the X-Men First Class) - X-Men: Curse of the Mutants (Come on, X-Men vs. Vampires? Hell yes.)
LEAST FAVORITES (SERIES):
- Astonishing X-Men (I just didn't really like it) - New Ultimate Comics (ALL of them)
LEAST FAVORITES (MINI-SERIES/EVENTS)
- Ultimatum - Ultimatum Requiem - Avengers vs. X-Men (You guys TOTALLY saw that coming)

To all my DC/Smallville lovers Has anyone glanced at Smallville Season 11 yet? Uhm... YES! Ohmygod, the comic book is epic! Although, only little chapters are released digitally each week -- I think three chapters add up to one full issue, or something like that. I'm not too sure. But it was amazing! XD ...and Chloe was in it!

Gonna add X-Men Origins: Cyclops to my list of favorite comics. Even though they skipped over a great deal of his past and some of the most important moments, it was still pretty good.

The "Ends of the Earth" arc is possibly one of the best Amazing Spider-Man arcs ever. I've been avoiding reading it for a while because of the post-Brand New Day stuff and the fact that it's written by Dan Slott (worst Spider-Man writer, tbh). But I finally gave in and read it, and it was just...amazing, pun intended.

I seriously cannot get into comic books. Every time I try, I just get bored and never get invested in them enough to want to read the next issue. I don't even feel the need to read Smallville Season 11 or any of the Buffyverse comics, which you'd think I'd be all over. I don't know. I guess me and comic books just weren't meant to mesh. Someone needs to sit me down and force some down my throat until they interest me. haha!

Definitely considering giving "Fearless Defenders" a shot, because I loved the Defenders series before it was canceled a few months ago. Not to mention it's an all-female book for once and those need all the support they can get. Also gonna be reading Uncanny Avengers, All-New X-Men and I'm gonna try to give the Uncanny X-Men relaunch a try too. Not sure how I'll feel about it, considering how AvX ended, but we'll see.
And, I've decided to start reading Captain Marvel, because I've found a love for Carol Danvers thanks to Tumblr. XD

Aimee dont read it...it leads to a smack ton of hate. They killed off Peter Parker by switching his body with Doc Ock. So i recently got a smack ton of comic books for christmas and i squealed like a preppy cheerleader when she sees a sale going on at forever 21 The spiderman comic pissed me off. Aimee dont read it...it leads to a smack ton of hate. They killed off Peter Parker by switching his body with Doc Ock. But on the plus side he is in heaven with Gwen, his parents, and his aunt and uncle Oh, I know. Because of that, I'm never buying another Marvel until they correct it. Not only was it a God awful way to get rid of Marvel's most iconic and recognizable character, but getting rid of him in BOTH of their most mainstream universes? They're going to regret that decision, fast, and hopefully get rid of Dan Slott while they're at it. That man has single-handedly ruined the superhero I've loved since I was old enough to know who he was. I'm sure it won't last, though. I hang on to faith that Marvel is smarter than that and will either retcon it or bring him back in some way. Not only was it a stupid plot point, it's disgusting in several ways. Don't even get me started on the cover for Superior Spider-Man. But the thing that pisses me off the most is how rude Dan Slott and some of the Spidey editors have been towards fans. They legit said that people would be upset, but eventually all the Peter Parker fans would "phase out". That's how you want to treat the people who have made Spider-Man such a success for 50 years? Fuck that. Between this, the retcon of Mary-Jane and Peter's marriage, and the bullshit that was Avengers vs. X-Men (and the aftermath), I'm done with Marvel until they can straighten themselves the fuck out. Not even the fact that they managed to bring Jean Grey back into the comics can make me buy from them anymore.
