Hi I just made a quick poster for MYTH  I know it's crap but I tried. I used the tagline/slogan you put on the pitch but added an extra line. Hope you don't mind. |

I must agree with Monica,and I'm sorry I didn't say it before. Your work is NOT crap and it really made me happy when I saw somebody took the time to make a poster for my show. I love the glowy pentagram background and of course I do not mind the bonus line at all!

For awhile now I have been dealing with an issue of casting. Myth began as a very different story and the characters have changed names,attitudes, and actors several times. As it is right now I am mostly happy with my choices and how everything is progressing except for one thing. Jackie Piper has been the exception to the rule and stayed the exact same since the very beginning of her creation EXCEPT for her actress. The original actress is a girl who has already been cast in a show on the VPN so I decided to look for another girl. In my search I looked at a great many girls and decided on Willa Holland. However, as time goes on I find I am not completely pleased with my choice. I like Willa a great deal and she is close to the original girl but I look at actresses and go "I wish I had cast her instead". Most recently it has been the actress cast for Jackie's friend,Heather (played by Lily Collins), who I have been thinking might be leading lady material, but at the same time I don't know if I should change. What does a person do when they are in this position where they lost the original inspiration and must find a new perfect fit? Should I keep what I have now or try to find the girl that will fit in with my almost perfect vision of the show? Any thoughts,opinions, or advice would be wonderful.

I would perhaps look at some different actresses who are similar to the one you have cast and perhaps the one you wanted to cast originally. I would strongly suggest not moving a cast member from one role to another if you are already happy with where they are, it could throw out all of your casting and you wouldn't want that!  Who did you originally want to cast as your main character (the one who is already on a VPN series)? If I had an idea of the actress you were going for originally and by looking at who you currently have cast I may be able to suggest some alternatives? |

Well it would be moving one actress from an EXTREMELY minor part maybe seen once or twice to the lead so it wouldn't throw a lot off. But the original girl was Michelle Trachtenberg who plays Karin Wagner in the Outcasts. It doesn't have to be somebody just like her it just has to be somebody I can say "YES WITHOUT A DOUBT THAT IS HER".

UPDATE: I have been reassured by a fan (aka My sister XD) that Willa is a perfect choice and that I need to trust my original judgement. I have made peace and now want to keep my actress. Also I got really bored and made this  |
