Episode 211 - Okay, back to Audition! It's always nice to get my Audition fix for the week. This episode seemed short (lol). I don't know why because the pages were the same. Anyways. The Paula situation we're closer...almost getting there to find out what is going on with her back story and why she got upset when Jace talked about her past. The situation with the other guys and the fact that Angela and Alisha are getting friendly in this episode. I thought at first that Alisha saw that Angela was hiding but I don't think she did. If Angela shows Alisha what Jordan did, the fire will fly in my opinion. I think a storm will be brewing. Again, I felt the episode didn't have much in it but it was still good. 7/10

It set up everything that's going to go down in the next one, the finale, and I'm really excited to see what people are going to think of it, haha. Paula admits just what's got her feeling so down in the next episode. It shows just why she is how she is- the bubbly, peppy person everyone seems to love. XD Angela's really scared at the moment. Jordan has threatened to kill her if she talks, but she's tired or being his punching bag. I loved writing Jordan and Angela's climatic scene in the finale. Hopefully people like it just as much! The storm is definitely going to come up in the finale. Hope you enjoy!

"Safe"I JUST- I JUST- I CAN'T EVEN- I- I- Duuuuude! This finale was insane! Okay, so first of all, Paula's big reveal about her childhood and why she is the way she is- IT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE NOW. I love that you used flashbacks to help tell the story of her past because it not only helped with all that exposition that needed to be done, but it also created so much suspense, and as I'm reading, I'm just dying to know more and more of the background. Its so tragic, and to think how much an impact something like that can have on someone's life. It makes me wonder whether or not Paula's up-beat and peppy persona is going to be pulled back a bit now that she's come forward with this, and has opened up about it. I'm sure she'll still have the essence of Paula, but it would be nice to see this moment hold a huge effect on the character, and see more of what's behind that smile, which I'm sure at times has been extremely, extremely forced. I JUST WANNA HUG HER. This is so tragic, I can't even put it into words how sad I was reading it. F*ck! Hahaha. You suck. As for the rest of the episode- holy crap! Suspense was in the aaaaair. I love how Alisha came to realise it, and those moments where you relayed scenes as they flashed through Alisha's mind to form her conclusion. That was really creative and well done, I could picture it so well. Every time it cut back to them and Angela was already with Jordan, I'm just like "HURRY UP DAMMIT- IF SHE DIES AND YOU GUYS ARE JUST STANDING AROUND TALKING, IMA RAGE." But luckily, she locked herself in the bathroom just in time to escape his crazy outburst. Officially saying it now: If Jordan is redeemed in a believable way, you deserve a freakin' medal, because at this point he is BEYOND redemption in my eyes. I love Angela, especially when Jordan tries to turn the blame around on her and she was having none of it. That moment where he roars, I was like "crap, she's going to die isn't she?!" That cliffhanger. YOU SUCK. She better be found and saved in time before he continues tearing shit up. Ugh! WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS, BRADY?!?! WHHHYYYY!?!??! So Season Three starts next week, yes? Hahahaha. UGGGHHH!!!! (EDIT: In the excitement, I got Alisha/Angela mixed up. Bahaha)

"Safe"I JUST- I JUST- I CAN'T EVEN- I- I- YAY!! This was exactly the reaction I was hoping for! XD I had this whole backstory for her from the getgo, and when I finally had a chance to fit it into the story, I totally went for it, and I'm glad I did because it seems to be getting positive feedback. XD But yes, I think I told you this in my last reply to you, I put those flashbacks in there because of the comment you made in your review of "Miss Me?" when Alisha was explaining herself. SO THANKS! The backstory of Paula definitely will come back into play- there's even a whole episode dedicated to it next sequence. I'll have some news regarding her very, very soon, haha! But, with Jace revealing that he's a casting director, her emotions are pretty much pushed to the back of her mind, because she sees this as a perfect opportunity to do her actual job right. So she'll definitely have some of her usual Paula sense. XD Alisha's intelligence really came into play in this episode. It was really exciting for me, because I never utilized that trait of hers before now (I don't think I have... oops). Glad you enjoyed her whole thinking process scene. I tried to really bring up the scenes that just put it together in the fastest way possible, and it's great to know that you pictured it well! And even though she figured it all out... she might just not make it. MWUAHAHA! I'm really excited to see what people think of how Jordan's send-off actually plays out. It's how I always had him pictured going out, so hopefully you enjoy. I really loved writing Angela finally standing up for herself, because it was basically for the first time. XD YAY FOR TORTURING READER'S SOULS! I'm totally writing as fast as I can- two episodes down! I really want to get this sequence out as soon as I can, because I promise it's going to be the biggest one yet (with an even crazier finale )!

Episode 212 (Finale) - Okay so here it is! That was enjoyable. I liked the Paula reveal to why she reacted the way she did and why she is always so chipper. I really hope that Paula will remain the way she is and will not go down the same path. You know that sometimes a child can go down the same path! (hopefully not) And to come to find out what Jace is that is really cool and interesting and will be a piece of the puzzle as far as advancing Alisha and Alex towards their goal. Now for Angela and Jordan - I really want to see how this is going to end! I want to know now!! (lol) It's really cool how you left us wanting the next sequence (which is good way to get people to keep coming back...lol). It will be interesting to see what happens if Jordan and Angela leave the show? Honestly I hope they don't but that means that something else will drive the show of course (wink). The sequence overall was pretty good and of course the finale offers the question - What happens next? 9/10
Okay now get the new sequence done!

I really liked finally writing Paula's backstory, because I've had it from the very beginning, and it's great to know it's gotten some positive response! Paula will definitely be the same Paula everyone seems to love, but the emotions will come back because there's a whole 'nother bump in the road for her. XD Jace's occupation really sets Paula's mind straight in the fact of "I need to take advantage of this, even though I feel like crap right now," so that'll play out in the premiere. Angela and Jordan's story comes to a close in the finale, and they will be leaving the main cast, reoccurring cast, etc. but if one of them lives, that's not to say they'll never come back onto the show again. I'm really glad you've enjoyed the sequence, Andrew! Hopefully you enjoy what's to come!

2.12 - Safe I can't believe its over all ready... I love how you sort of gave us a look into our characters and i'm not just talking about Paula, all though I loved her story and using the flashback worked in really displaying that. I hope Jace's reveal that he's a casting agent wont destroy there relationship. Alisha is one smart cooking I'm glad it all clicked I'm surprised it didn't when she was in the bathroom with Angela, and just because Angela locked herself into the bathroom and bought herself time for our heroes to arrive doesn't mean Jordan might not hurt one of them in his violent rage. I still hope there's some redemption for him and If there is I really can't wait to see how you do it. Sequence Three Hopes: -- Angela survives, DUH! -- Brigit Mendler added to main cast! -- Rose and Alex and hook up??? -- David! We've gotten surprisingly little story on David, I'm sure we've discovered more about Rose than David who spent the first part of the sequence as Alex's partner. I've left you a long ANGRY let letter about how mad I am about this... I kid.. or am I only Brady will know...

Correction I hope Jace's reveal does come between them. He has to go, Dempsey for the win (for the second time in history) Micheal must end up with Paula!
P.S. You credit Alyson Stoner as series regular the whole second half of the sequence, but she isn't listed on the Sequence Two Main Cast page"

Jace's occupation doesn't necessarily become a bump in their relationship, it just just starts the S3 storyline. I really wanted to showcase Alisha's intelligence, so I'm glad that's gotten some good response. Yep, you're completely right, they may not make it in time. *suspenseful music* HAHA I'll tell you you at least got one right. XD Whether you got more than one, you'll have to find out! Yeah, I just never got around to doing it. Just my laziness. XD

Apparently I haven't read Audition in a while so I thought I should try and catch up...
2x02: "Dialogue" Review
It felt like there were lines missing from this - when Jordan and Angela spot Alex, there's no line of action to indicate it, it's just implied by dialogue. It took me a few seconds to realize what they were talking about which took me out of the moment. Also, Jordan's line there needed a question mark as right now it reads very strangely.
I'm starting to think that Audition would benefit from being longer because right now we only get glimpses into the world and it never really feels like enough to properly develop the story or the characters properly. I still know next to nothing about David other than his Star Wars obsession and it makes him come across as a little bland. Honestly the plot I'm most interested in is Jordan and Angela's as it's the only one that's really moving forward.
Question, why did Jordan stop his agent suing Alex? I'd think he'd want to sue and get Alex out of LA, right?

Apparently I haven't read Audition in a while so I thought I should try and catch up... Welcome back! I did put "Jordan notices something off-screen, and scrunches his face, causing:" so maybe you just skimmed over it? And yeah, SPAG error on my part, haha. I wholeheartedly agree that sometimes I think Audition would be much better if it was a full-fledged/even half hour series - development comes faster, get along with the story. But then again, that's what I love about it, even though it's basically my downfall with the series. I want to develop all these things, like David, but it just takes time. I know that's probably a pretty lame excuse, but it just does. David is definitely going to get developed more in S3, and I know you probably hate me for always saying stuff like that, but that's just how it happens. Sorry if you think that's a crummy excuse lol, but hopefully you'll trust me. My reasoning was that he didn't want cops to get involved, and somehow figure out his abusive nature with Angela. Looking at it now, I could have seriously done much better with that. But yeah, that's it. Thanks for the review, Tom!!

Wow, i have seriously missed a lot of Audition! I guess its time to play catch up, I'll try to get as caught up today as possible. 2.07: Miss Me?As always, Paula, you've got me in giggles already. "I WILL NOT SURRENDER" - hahaha classic Paula. Plus Alisha is back, great opening to the second half of sequence 2. Ah, just what I've been dying to see, more of that toxic relationship between Jordan and Angela. Jordan seems to have been pushed to far by Alex and co. this time, this is a side we've never seen before, its rather frightening and sinister in a way. Good episode to open back up with, just the right mix of comedy and drama, and that Maula relationship <3 haha. Looking forward to see where Rose stands now that Alisha is back. 9/102.08: Oh, Hey You!2 pages in and I'm already giving Paula a standing ovation. Am I the only one thing that Paula should have her own spin off show? I would so watch it. You can put her in any situation and I would be gutting myself laughing. :') Wow, I thought Jordan was just all talk in the last episode, I seriously didn't think he would fully snap, and attempt what he just did in this episode. And Jace is back! Its nice to see paula get her flirt on, haha. Nice episode, David his usual one liner in there that made me laugh. Although he's still not as funny when Alisha's around, I always seem to laugh more and him and Alex's banter. 10/102.09: Courage Is All It TakesMichael, quite over reacting! I love how the first person he calls is Paula, their relationship is great (which is why they should be together) because she brings out the best in him and stops him from being all up tight and stubborn. XD I do also enjoy her interactions with Jace, but I still need to get used to him, I guess. David with his whole urban talk is cracking me up. Lol. YES! its about time Alisha stuck up for herself, I hated watching her take all that crap from Jordan and Angela before. I've said it before, but I've loved watching Alisha's growth from the beginning she definitely progressed the most out of all the characters. Its looks like the next round is Alisha vs Angela - exciting. 10/10 2.10: Dance OffAh, just like I said, Alex and David scenes are so funny! Haha, Paula is so silly sometimes... scratch that, all the time. The scenes with Jordan and Angela were interesting as always, especially the last scene. Jordan is seriously losing it, he's becoming more unstable as the show goes on and you can clearly notice. I don't understand why that flashback was in there though, it felt pretty random as it was the only one. I'm all for telling back stories, but at the right moments and I'm not sure if that was it. But I do hope to see more of that as the show progresses. The dance off was pretty cool, very descriptive. I really am intrigued to know what was up with Paula, it just came from nowhere. I guess theres something serious that happened back in her home time? Time will tell. I'm beginning to become weary of Jace, he doesn't say much bar tell Paula how funny she is, he seems, too nice... somethings gotta be up. 9/102.11: A Question So DeadlyI see what your doing with the flash backs now, its definitely leading up to something for the finale. It just felt random before. Could a bridge really be building between Alisha and Angela? Maybe so with that ending. Angela needs help and Alisha is the only one forgiving enough to sit and listen. I wonder if anything will ever happen with Rose and Alex. He needs a love interest, and even though I think he finds Rose attractive i don't sense any romantic feelings as of yet. Again with Paula, what is up with her. What could have happened in her childhood that has left her this upset? 10/10 2.12: SafeWHAT. A. CLIFFHANGER. Really, Brady?! You Can't do this! hahaha. That was a drama packed episode and I absolutely loved it. The flashbacks were simple but effective in showing how their relationship had progressed. I like how even though Angela has always been nasty to the gang they still don't hesitate to jump to her rescue, it shows what kinda of people they are, which makes them really great to read for. We finally found out why Paula was so upset about being asked of her childhood, and damn, hasn't she had a rough life. She obviously still deeply struggles with the issues if a question about her hometown can make her feel so upset. So maybe we will see more of her battling her feelings in the future. I would like to see more of Rose, she hasn't done so much since Alisha has returned. She's stayed mainly in the background but I hope she has a better storyline next sequence. I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens next, with Alex, Alisha, David and Rose make it in time? XD awesome sequence finale, Brady. 10/10
I'll start Sequence 3 when I have time next. I'm looking forward to it. Great job, Brady.

Wow, i have seriously missed a lot of Audition! I guess its time to play catch up, I'll try to get as caught up today as possible. Thanks for catching up, Jay! This was definitely a great thing to see when I logged onto the forum today. Glad to know you're still following the show! I'm always glad when I read that Paula makes some of you guys laugh! She's always fun to write. I was always nervous to see if Alisha returning would seem like "well why did she even leave?" but it's awesome to know it's been received well. She just needed to learn how to eventually stand up for herself, and that started with her mother. Also great to hear you're enjoying Angela and Jordan's relationship, because it's definitely been on of the biggest parts of the series. This arc really focused on his break and it was such a relief to know that people seem to like it. Haha, definitely some more Maula moments coming your way! Plus some Rose development! Gah, I love that you guys love Paula so much! I seriously never intended for her to be such a fan favorite on the show! Omg, a Paula spin-off - now that's an idea! But yes, Jordan has definitely lost it, and the next couple of episodes (as you now know) focus on his spiral into madness. Jace and Paula (Pace? Jaula? Eh... haha) definitely have some nice development coming up soon. Like S3 soon, haha. David is still kind of the guy who is so shocked that he's with Alisha, that's he definitely not going to be his usual self around her, and even though he's still "the funny guy" he'll always be funnier with Alex. Michael is such an over-reactor, haha! Such a dad. And while Paula might be bring out Michael's softer side, their relationship may stay strictly platonic just because I'm evil like that. Yeah, I definitely see how Jace is going to have to take some getting used to. Hopefully in S3 you'll be good with him. Alisha standing up for herself was such a huge step in her development that is was such a blast to write and a nice change. Glad you've really enjoyed her development! I'm just really glad you're loving all of the character's interactions, haha. I love writing the characters on this show, so it's a great compliment to know you enjoy reading them! You've already read ahead, so I won't go too much into the flashback scene, but yeah, it was just there to sort of lead the audience into the ones in the next episode. And you've already read Paula's backstory, so I guess we'll just leave it at that, haha! And you might just be onto something with Jace, who knows, we'll find out in S3 Angela finally realized what she needed to do in this episode - ask for help. She caved and asked Angela. Like I said before, Rose will definitely get some huge development in S3, so hopefully you enjoy that. Not much to say since you've already read ahead HAHA! I won't say too much because, again, I'm an evil human being that can't wait to see your thoughts on the S3 premiere! Thanks again, Jay! Hope you keep on reading when you can! PS/ Hope these replies weren't awful! I'm running on little to no sleep! haha

2.01 - Fury - Great episode to kick off sequence two! Seems like some time has past, but not that much time. Alex is still full of regret and anger and has yet to find closure with Alisha. I like how things picked right back up where we left them in sequence one. I think this is the second scene where it's just Alex and David. I like that he's worried about Alex, and has been making sure he's okay. The scene with Paula. You know which one I'm talking about. haha Just that bit of Paula in an episode can turn a good episode into a great episode. haha She just kills me every time. YESSS!!! Alex punched that smug look of of Jordan's face! Ah, small victories. The awkwardness between Alex and Alisha was really realistic; friends go through times like that, and it was nice to see them pull through and find that closure with one another. They're both sorry for how everything happened, and can finally move on knowing neither of them resents the other. 2.02 - Dialogue - Well, a lot of conflict in this episode. Alex is still feeling guilty about Alisha going back to Georgia. And he's still blaming Jordan and Angela. I loved that David stood up to Jordan here too. It's nice to see him and Alex having each other's back. I like those two as friends. The big surprise this episode is that ending with Jordan slapping Angela. I'm really scared for her. She's in a very abusive relationship and I just want her to get out while she still can, before it gets worse, which of course it's going to. 2.03 - Take a Break - Detective!Paula in the beginning. She's so freaking cute, God I love it. I feel like Michael is so done with everything at this point. All the craziness, the screaming cavemen, and everything. He just starts spraying Paula and the kids like they're wild animals, I can't deal with this episode. Oh man, I wasn't ready for Miranda flashbacks, dude. MICHAEL FEELS! We haven't really got much from him since early on in sequence one, regarding his relationship with Miranda at least. I really liked seeing that. We can see that it's still something he constantly thinks about. And here we have the introduction of a few more characters. Jace and Rose. I'll leave my remarks about the for another episode But all in all, this was a pretty nice episode. Lots of world building stuff, with the new characters, especially Rose, who I'm sure will be sticking around a while. 2.04 - Memorization is Key - I'll start by saying that I like the parallel between Michael and Alex. They both feel as though they had a hand in Alisha's decision to leave, and I thought that was a nice touch to the episode. We've been getting more from Michael these past few episodes and I'm loving it because we hardly get to see him unless he annoyed with Paula. Great character moments from him in this episode. And then we find out that he blames himself for his wife's death as well. Just a bunch of Michael feels this episode and the last. I hope he can find a way to forgive himself and find peace in his heart. Because that's tough. We get another look at Rose here and find out she's a BAMF! HAHA! I loved how she stood up to The Devil Duo like that, without even knowing them. I'm beginning to feel like Jordan has legit anger management issues that he needs help with. And I feel kinda bad for both him and Angela, tbh. This is going to get messy. 2.05 - Lights, Camera, Action! - Of course the trio (Rodalex? Heh, it probably won't stick) and The Devil Duo are filming on the same location. And in true Audition fashion, Angela and Jordan continue to be the thorn in everyone's backside! The more and more I see of their relationship the worse I feel about Angela. She really is doing whatever it takes to make Jordan happy, and stay on his good side, and it's really quite scary that she's living like that. I hope things get better soon. The Alisha withdrawal is strong in this episode. I really miss her and I like how the characters are missing her as well. Even though I love the new dynamic we have in Alex, David and Rose, I'm interested to see how Alisha's ultimate return can affect that dynamic. 2.06 - Perform - MICHAEL WAS SOO CUTE IN THIS EPISODE! HAHAHA! That "It’s going to be the hottest and the most bomb diggety thing in the hizz-house!" line just makes me wanna die, oh my god. Glad he's seems to be doing better and has a moment to have that light, comedic moment, though I do love the dark stuff as well CASSANDRA IS ROSE'S MOTHER?!?!?! (pretends to be surprised) But no, that was great. They were all so shocked and disturbed. The Devil Duo are up to their usual tricks. They're so childish, oh my god. But I'm glad they lost this round. Felt really good. Paula's outburst on the drive back home was perfect and priceless. She is so precious and I can't even explain my love for her. She must be protected at all costs. DAT ENDING!! She's back baby! Onto the next one... 2.07 - Miss Me? - I love how worried Michael was for Paula, when everyone else was so focused on Alisha, he just wanted to make sure his bestie was okay! *SOBS TEARS OF JOY* Then Paula knocking Michael out. Hahaha! I'm dying. Jesus christ, David and Alisha are really sucking face for a long time. Get a room you two! Wow, this was a pretty short, laid back episode. But it's good to have Alisha back. And it was nice to see everyone just kinda relax. Things got a little awkward between Alisha and Rose. I can't believe it took Paula text messages Alex before he introduced them. Haha! Really nice episode. Just a little worried about that Angela/Jordan scene. He's really gone off the rails this time. 2.08 - Oh, Hey You! - It's been how many episodes of Audition so far? 20-something? And Paula never ceases to crack me up haha! She's honestly in my top five favorite VS characters. Her bubbly, out there personality and wit just make me fall in love with her every single episode! I liked the little talk between Rose and Alex about Alisha, and how he still feels guilty about her leaving. That was some nice development for their relationship and I really can't wait to see more of that It's official. Jordan has lost his mind. He's completely snapped. I'm terrified at what he might do next! Glad everyone is okay though. Overall, good episode. Some cool development between Alex and Rose, David and Alisha, and we even get a little bit of Paula/Jace *sobs* *Reviews for 2.09 - 2.12 coming soooon*
