^Nah, I can't really be annoyed with Walt Jr. ... sorry, "Flynn". He's like furniture... he's just sort of there. He doesn't do enough to evoke any strong emotions with me. But yeah, Darrin, I agree about the episode (it was recently, in season five, wasn't it?) where he put his dad to bed and they had that heartfelt conversation. I think that's the first time I really noticed him. I mean, really noticed the character rather than just accept him as a part of the scene. It was almost like a whole new character had come onto the show and I was going "where have you been this whole time?". Before that the most he'd had to do was ask for breakfast.

I'm going with Emily Browning, no doubt. She's just... perfect for that role. All yours, Chris.

*facepalm* When I finally thought I had something... xD hmm... let's see... Sticking with the Disney theme, let's see some actresses that could have made for better Snow Whites than Kristen Stewart...

...oh god noes, you're one of them Skyler haters. I can't relate there I'm afraid. Seriously, I find myself in full support of Skyler and (most of, at least) her actions and reactions. Her husband (protagonist or not, let's face it...) is a murderous, sociopathic ass who doesn't know any limit at this point. I think she's reacting the only way one could react in that situation, being forced to live with that sort of person without any power to change things for herself or for her children. All through episode 4 of S5, I felt nothing but pity watching the dead expression on her face all until that haunting (but somehow beautiful...) pool scene. Even when she asked for Walt's cancer to come back, I wasn't annoyed with her, I just felt sorry that she had been forced into that corner. And on top of the understanding, I also just find her an enjoyable character. She's very fun to watch in both good and bad weather. I loved watching her trick the car wash out from under the eyebrows of doom. And equally I loved watching her with that wine in the diner scenes in season five. I guess that's just a testament to how damn well the BR writers handle their characters. I don't think I've hated a single character so far other than Ted Beneke. God, was he a selfish prick... and so idiotic it was painful to watch.

Haha, if there's any show that's got the "chutzpah" to be cruel to its characters (Gale *sob*) it's Breaking Bad. However, whatever ending they decide to settle on, I'm sure they'll make it the best ending possible. I have full confidence in them. They've earned it big time. edit: Or what if we got the best of both worlds, what with that eerie flashforward at the start of season five with Walt buying the machine gun from Bobby from Supernatural ... Walter White, having lost it all by his 52nd birthday, decides to blast some bitches away. Then dies from lots of bullet holes in his body. Spectacular.

While I think a great ending would be him losing everyone he cares for in some way but staying alive, cancer-free. His cancer is gone, the reason he got himself into the whole mess in the first place, his family is gone, his motivation throughout the entire series... and here he's left with a fuckload of money but nothing to live for anymore. I think that'd be rather perfect. Walter gets to suffer the consequences of his actions forever. Death is too easy.

So will this one have a sort of "aquatic" theme? That's what I'm picking up from those photos. I hope to god that's the case... I don't think I could stand a simple rehash of the forest from the first one.

I've resumed my watching of season two and I'm really enjoying it right now. The bank episode and this last one where Sam got possessed were particularly exciting. However, I still feel the season one "monster of the week episodes" have been stronger so far. Other than the clown in episode two, those stories have been fairly generic. But like I said, I'm still enjoying the heck out of this season regardless.

IMO (I haven't spoken to Carey yet) the first idea sounds perfectly fine albeit underdeveloped and a little unclear, but the second one I'm not at all getting a story from. What you've got sounds fine and dandy for a scene in your script... but what's it actually about? And what fantasy or sci-fi elements are there to it? It's all too ambiguous right now and I can't really decide one way or the other.

Haha, yeah, I'm not a 100% sure either. Happy Birthday, Darrin! You know. Even if it isn't. xD

Not to mention the fact that Mads Mikkelsen is perfect for the role of a psychopath Hannibal and Gillian Anderson of X-Files fame is in it. I believe you can count me in three too.

Hey Brady! I'm a bit troubled over this pitch. My main concern, I think, is how you'll manage to make a mature show out of Scooby Doo. Having read the teaser, those concerns are only amplified, I'm afraid. The characters from the cartoon Scooby Doo, who seem more or less the same here, don't exactly lend themselves very well to knife murderers and slasher stuff like that. I don't know, it seems so bizarre when they're being chased by the man with the knife... I get an out of place feeling. And this keeping in mind that there's a talking dog coming up...
On a lesser note, Daphne comes off like quite a bitch, especially with Shaggy. "Not that you have any". Really? Just on a personal, unprofessional note, please don't make her your typical high school bitch. And I'm not sure how I feel about her not being a part of the gang. Slightly bitch-y, "can't help it" offensive Daphne with gang is cool... bitchy, offensive Daphne with equally bitchy minions is just "why don't you crawl into a corner and choke on your tongue"-worthy.
But as I said, I'm troubled over how to take this pitch. It's got potential and I'm a huge fan of the old Scooby Doo cartoon but I'm not quite sure if it'll work as a mature, serious series sadly.
