Thanks, Chris! I'm glad your open to both ideas, and since Halloween is occurring this month, I thought I'd release the official description for that episode, which is entitled "Spook Fest". So, here it goes:
IT'S A SPOOKY NIGHT AT LA'S TEEN TALENT - It's Halloween Night in Hollywood, and LA's Teen Talent has encouraged its students to participate in an all-night "Spook Fest", a competition where each student will choose a famous Halloween character, and preform as that said character for the entire night, until one student is remaining. But if you break character, you're out. You win, you receive fifty dollars and a gift card to Hollywood Teen Apparel. And with hostile tension still running through the air, who knows what the students will do to get each other eliminated.

Thanks so much for reading the next episode, Connor! It's greatly appreciated that you took the time to do so. I really wanted to do a "focus" episode on Paula, and the struggles she goes through being an agent. So, I'm glad it was so well recieved, and having Paula be a fan-favorite, it was really fun to write the episode. And, don't ever worry about being behind. Any review or compliments are welcome! XD

So, i haven't been as active on here as i would like to be. Uni is really kicking my ass, but I've had time to sit down today and catch up on this show. So hear are my reviews for the latest three episodes..
1.07 - Jealousy Oh, how I've missed this show and I have to say i feel like your writing is progressing with every episode. I really enjoyed this episode and loved how it set things up for whats to come in this arc, nicely. The introduction of the new character James is something I really enjoyed about this episode, he seems to be a great addition, I cant wait to see what you have in store for him, hopefully a showdown between him and Paula, "battle of the agents" haha. I guess we can see where Jordan and Angela get the whole 'asshole-ness' from, they all deserve each other. There's something that's making me think that Angela could actually be a nice person if Jordan was out of the picture, i don't know if that's what your planning but i think i can see that side of her already beginning to show. And finally, i gotta say that even if your main focus of the episode's hasn't got anything to do with Paula she still has her one liners in there somewhere - "The butt-heads" cracked me up haha, great job. 10/10
1.08 - Newbie I'm loving these new characters your introducing, David seems cool and pretty funny, but i'm not quite sure if he's going to be a friend to Alex and Alisha, or not. I love that we can see Jordan crack even more each episode, and his rage is building up, i feel something big involving him is going to happen soon. The beginning was funny as usual, Paula and her bad driving haha! short but perfect little episode, 10/10
Halloween Special I'm glad you went ahead with the special episode(s) idea, i really enjoyed this. The fact you made then dress up the same is genius, as soon as i read that i was like uh-oh! But i'm glad Alex won in the end because i don't think i could bare it if Jordan or Angela won. I wish we got to see some of Micheal and Paula's movie night though, i feel like that would have been pretty funny to read, but i understand you are restricted with the pages as a webisode. But i still really enjoyed the episode so that why this episode obviously gets a 10/10

Thank you soooo much for the reviews, Jay! I'm so glad you're a fan of the show, and that I haven't disappointed. XD Sorry that school has been really bad lately, I totally know the feeling. But I'm glad you were able to leave a review. Now, I shall reply!
RESPONSE: Jay Patterson's Review of 1.07 "Jealousy"
I'm glad you think my writing has improved. The more I read, the more I learn about it, and try to improve, so compliments on it is always a great thing. And the set-up for this Arc was shown a lot more than people would think. Can't say too much right now. XD But anyways, James is a hoot to write for -- he's so vicious, and that's a nice thing to write, just because it's different, which is why I love writing for Jordan and Angela so much. And, yes, there will definitely be a showdown of the agents. Just wait. XD
Jordan and Angela's relationship will be the focus of the second Arc of Sequence Two. I really want to dive into it, but there's another story that needs to be told for the first Arc, but then we can see how and why their relationship is the way it is.
I'm so thrilled that Paula has been a standout for each episode, even if she's barely in them. I was really unsure how I wanted Paula to meet Jordan and Angela, and then having James there as well was a plus. I wanted to show that she doesn't really have a mean bone in her body, and I can't wait to show you what happens when they meet again. XD
RESPONSE: Jay Paterson's Review of 1.08 "Newbie"
David was awesome to write for, because he's not as out there as Paula, but he still has that wit to him. We'll find out, next episode, whether or not David is friend or foe. I kinda wanted to keep that mystery element up, but you know, it needed to come out soon. And we'll just see what happens. XD
The rage that is being built inside Jordan and Angela will play a pivotal role in the rest of this Arc. They cause a real "earthquake" which goes down, and will end in a pretty, pretty bad way. And Paula... Well, we all know about her. XD
RESPONSE: Jay Patterson's Review of the Halloween Special
This episode was so much fun to write, I might need to make it a regular thing. XD I loved including all the Halloween elements, and making them dress alike was sort of a last minute thing. But I'm glad it paid off. XD And how Alex won was also last minute, it was just hard to come up with how it would all go down. But I figure having Alisha be the cause would really show her breaking out of her shell, which will also be shown later down the line. XD
I would have loved to have a scene with their movie night, but there was never really a chance for me to cut to them, and, like you said, the length also came into account. But I tried to include them as best as I could. But I'm glad you enjoyed it, regardless.
Again, thank you soooo much, Jay! Your reviews are always fun to read, and all these 10/10's make me real happy! ...and nervous. Mostly nervous. XD

So I decided to sit down tonight and read/review all of the episodes I have missed of the series so far, and so here's my rambling reviews of them all. Freakin' love this show! "JEALOUSY" REVIEWThis episode had a lot of tension, and as the episode plays out, the conflict between Jordan/Angela vs Alex/Alisha really escalates. The great thing about it is that instead of showing it as those two teams going up against each other, in regards to Jordan and Angela, it felt like she was scared and following suit almost, while Jordan was the primary source of jealousy and anger. And it kind of makes me want to root for Angela because she's in quite a scary situation with that relationship, and if she defies him... she's in trouble. You're building up elements of this relationship that is extremely interesting, and I love it.
Then we meet "the source of their viciousness" in the form of Jordan and Angela's agent, James, who had quite a lot of bark and bite. I love that you appear to be mirroring this conflict between the so-called "talent" and now their agents. Of course, I love the idea that James could be what creates such vile people. It makes me think of this guy I would play soccer with, and he would always be a huge ass in the middle of the games to the point where I'd be swearing back at him because of how irritating he would become, but then when I saw who his parents were, and how strict they were and focused on him being some "great soccer player", I could see that I couldn't really hate him because he's been raised like that, and taught to play soccer with that mentality, whereas I would do it more for fun- if we lost a game, oh well, if we won, hell yeah! Hahaha. It wasn't life and death for me, whereas he seemed to play like it was. So, I'm kind of looking at Jordan like that at the moment- he might have a lot of pressure on his back, being forced into this mold. I really want to see the show delve further into his backstory to find out why he's such an ass.
Ultimately, Paula was my favourite part. Again. She was a nice switch up for the episode because everything was so intense and confronting and then there was Paula who remained extremely upbeat and positive and happy- I just love her. Best part was when she's like "I'm sensing some tension in this general area." Laughed my ass off. As well as that, I could just really picture the ending of this episode like it was on television- all three characters throwing in a line about what just happened, and then ending like that? Perfect.
Now, I did read this episode before, but when I originally read it, I was in a heaps crummy mood, and it reflected in my interpretation of the episode- I love the show, and I knew something was up when I didn't leave the episode as great about it. But, I reread it today, and I loved it, proving that it was just my shitty mood the first time. Overall, another great installment. 10/10. "NEWBIE" REVIEWA new guy, David, is introduced, and Jordan and Angela do their "intimidation" routine again, only he doesn't have it. I quite like the idea of this episode, purely because its a change up of how Alex/Alisha were introduced to Jordan and Angela. You manage to make an extremely likeable character already, which comes from his ability to not be pushed around by these two, spiteful characters. Well, I say two, I really mean one. I feel like Angela isn't the bad guy here- I feel like she's just in love, or maybe even not that, but just scared for her life because of how abusive Jordan can be. And you've shown how he has control of Angela, whether he hits her or tells her to be quiet, he has power over her, and he abuses that power. Frequently. So there was more development on that relationship in this episode- I really feel like I know Angela more. Still holding hope that Jordan has some kind of redemption storyline up his sleeve in the future- so I haven't completely grown to hate him. But I really do love the dynamic they give the show, and how you're focusing more on them in these past few episodes.
The episode opened strongly, with a nice Paula moment. Of course, you know I love those. It was hilarious that Michael and Alex screamed like little girls, and then Paula mocks him in a singing voice, recounting the incident. I thought it was kinda cute. They're totally endgame. Right? RIGHT? Hahaha. Even though endgame needs to be like 87 seasons away, because I love this show.
I noticed the script looked more sleek- you using Final Draft now? If so, LOVE IT. Love that program, it really tightens everything up and makes it more appealing to the eyes (at least that's my opinion of it). The writing was just more stripped back, and I think, structurally, one of your best scripts so far.
I did have a problem with this episode, though. And it did surround the fact that the previous episode was such a huge, intense, confrontational installment that really branched from Alex and Alisha landing a commercial. And it felt like the conflict had built up and exploded, and it had a lot of great relevance- I would have liked more of a "cooling moment" to breathe for these characters, and see the aftermath of that. But it was in no way bad. I did love that you showed Alex and Alisha on one end, sort of talking back and forth about Jordan and Angela who were on the other end, doing the same about them. It just felt like this episode was trying to hard to create more conflict (found primarily in the introduction of this David character) when it could have continued with that aspect looked at in "Jealousy." That said though, it was nice to see the routine put on David, and have Alex and Alisha step in to help, and ultimately, question at episode's end, whether this new guy could be their friend or foe. Overall, a 9/10. "SPOOK FEST" REVIEW Wow. What an insanely good episode of Audition. Honestly! It had a really strong concept, and it added something new to the conflict between Alex/Alisha vs Jordan/Angela. It might be my favourite episode so far. The best part of the episode had to be the "competition". First of all, props for having both parties rock up in the same costumes- the suspense of how the "meaner" party would react and the fear in the "nicer" parties eyes added to the halloween vibe- Alex and Alisha were pretty sure they were gonna get slaughtered, which was kind of hilarious, but scary at the same time, because I could have totally seen that happening from Jordan's POV anyway. And then, to have this be a sort of acting lesson, having them "stay in character" to win, and them all cleverly distracting one another... genius. Honestly, I loved this episode so much.
I have to say, I didn't expect Alex to win. I felt like you were setting up for Angela to win it, when she started speaking the truth of how they used to be the best ones there before Alex and Alisha came along- so I thought it would be a little bit of a nicer moment. I was expecting them to suck it up, and let her win to give her a moment. So there was no predictability in this episode, whatsoever. I was thoroughly entertained throughout every single page.
Definitely love the idea of Paula and Michael watching movies all night. Half expect them to wake up naked in the next episode, so I'm all excited to start reading that one now too. Hehehe. But yes, what an adorable moment- love these two. I have to ask, did you expect these two to have such a following? I swear everyone who reads this show loves these two and wants to see something with them. They're amazing.
On a storytelling aspect, I loved how you linked the beginning and end together, with the "prize". You introduced the idea of the gift card getting nothing but a sock and one earring, and ended it with that too. It was a nice little bookened. I love that. I always try and pull those in short-stories for English assessments. Its something I just love, and you worked that extremely well in this. What else is there to say? A really strong episode, one of my favourites, if not my favourite! 10/10.
P.S/ Paula doing a SUPERMAN pose? *dead* "MOM" REVIEWThis episode made me realise that when Angela and Jordan aren't around, we get hilarious installments. Mate, this one was just plain fun. I loved it. Its also the kind of environment that Paula creates, and she was in this episode the whole time, so having that be the case, it was a lot of fun.
The interesting aspect of the episode surfaces when "Alyssa" is introduced- Alisha's mother- and she claims that she's come to take her home. Now, I'm a little worried because you said someone was leaving the show at the end of the "season", and I'm incredibly worried (I did not expect Alex or Alisha, in fact, I'm not expecting any of the main cast because I love them all so much). But this sort of sets up the idea it could be Alisha, and I'm really worried.
Also in this episode, we got to see more of David. He's a really great character, and I fully support David/Alisha, even though I'd feel bad for Alex because there's no way he wouldn't feel like a third wheel. Anyway, back on David- he's great! I think he's gonna have a nice bromance with Alex, and a romance with Alisha? Paula teasing her about having a crush was funny, and you've really integrated this new character into the show extremely fast, and well. I don't feel like he's intruding- which can sometimes happen with new characters, you know, like "YOU DON'T EVEN GO HERE." Hahahaha. But yeah, I'm a fan of David. XD
Moving on, have to give you props for the Michael/Paula moments again. Seriously, I WILL GO DOOOOWWN WIIITH THIIIS SHIIIPPP. AND I WONT PUT MY HANDS UP AND SURRENDEEEER. THERE WILL BE NOOO WHITE FLAG ABOVE MY DOOORR. Hahaha. I'm about 98% sure I stuffed up those lyrics, but still... can these guys just make out or something already? Jks. But they're awesome. That moment when she's like "Am I ugly or something?" I lost it.
Overall, you've shown us you can write compelling drama and intense conflict, and now you've proven that you're a master at comedy too. Audition is an extremely well written series, and I look forward to the next episode. Hopefully, I can keep up without having to give you bulky posts with 4 reviews at once. Keep up the awesome work, Brady. I'm a huuuuuge fan of this show! 10/10. I'm not surprised at how epic these were. "Spook Fest" and "Mom" are right up there on my favourite episodes list. Aaaaand, yeah. Thanks for writing an awesome show for me to read on theVPN. I looove it! xD

First off, OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THESE REVIEWS. I'm so glad you took the time to catch up on these episodes, because I know how you've been busy with school, so I really appreciate you actually taking the time to read and review these. You're awesome!!
RESPONSE: Jack Malone's Review of 1.07 "Jealousy"
This episode was really more of "darker" aspect of this show, that's it not always Paula showing up to help crack a smile, which she did end up doing XD, but that Jordan and Angela are pissed off and they want Alex and Alisha gone. And after Alex and Alisha achieved something, they snapped, more Jordan than Angela though. I really loved displaying how mad they actually are, because they're the only "not-so-nice" characters, with the exception for James. And, Angela's predicament will be more of a focus, next Sequence, during the second Arc. I mean, is she too scared to get out, or is she truly in love? Can wait to show that! XD
James was heaps of fun to write for. He'll appear in one more episode this sequence, and a showdown with Paula will commence! I'm super excited for everyone to see that. XD Anyways, I always knew I wanted to introduce Jordan and Angela's agent, just to see what they deal with on a daily basis, but that's not to say that's the only reason they're like that, something else could be amiss. XD But yeah, Jordan's pressure element, with pleasing his agent, and attempting to have all the spotlight -- it's exhausting, and, as I said, he's cracking.
Paula's ALWAYS the favorite part for you. XD I don't think anything can bring Paula down... Wait. No, there's something that makes her burst into tears. So, yeah. Expect that. XD Anyways, you're right, I definitely wanted to create that contrast, because this isn't supposed to be a strictly drama show, and that's why I love to end them on a high not. But for these last couple of episodes... No high not involved. At all. XD
I'm sorry you were in a terrible mood, I'm like that ALL THE TIME. But I'm glad you decided to give it a reread, because...omg...I couldn't stand it if you ended up hating one of these episodes, since you love the show so much. XD Anyways, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
This is the only reply I have time for, Jack. Super sorry. But I just wanted to let you know that this will NOT be forgotten. XD I'll just have to reply in a couple of days. Soooo... THANKS AGAIN!

RESPONSE: Jack Malone's Review of 1.08 "Newbie" Adding David to the show was actually a last minute thing for me, he was created within days of writing the second arc. But when I actually thought of his character, his personality really was the easiest part to write. And I thought introducing another "newbie" would add to the pressure that Jordan and Angela are having, which is a huge aspect of this arc. Anyways, I wanted David to receive that same routine Alex and Alisha did, but I wanted him to stand up for himself, since he was alone to begin with. And that did add to the "mysterious" element on whether or not he would be their friend, showing that he didn't need anyone's help when it came to the "big bads". XD Now, with Angela, her storyline is something I really can't wait to write, because, to me, it's rather interesting. She is scared, but the question of if she really loves Jordan will eventually be handled, just not now. XD
Paula just needs her own show. XD But no, Paula and Michael... Omg, the Paula/Michael fans. You people scare me. Anyways, loved writing the opening, just like everyone other scene with Paula. And her making fun of Michael added to the fun. XD
Sadly, no. I'm having to use Celtx now. XD I did use Microsoft Word, and it was super easy for me to use, but then my program crashed, and now I use Celtx, which I have finally managed to learn how to use. Anyways, thanks for the compliment! I'm glad my writing is improving!
I can see what you mean here, but I'm trying to build up Jordan and Angela's frustration, and with about ten pages an episode, it's rather difficult to do. I said it above... I think... Anyways, Jordan and Angela's breaking points are a huge, HUGE aspect of what's to come. Yes, a cooling moment would have been nice, and I truly wish I could have fit that into this Arc, but when it came down to decision time, more conflict would help the plot. XD
_________________________________________________________________
RESPONSE: Jack Malone's Review of "Spook Fest"
Yay!! Glad you loved this episode, because it was super last minute, and you suggested the whole idea of the "Holiday" episodes, so I was nervous about you'd like it. But, OMG YOU DID. Anyways, the plot was... Was pretty easy for me to come up with, I really just took a basic acting exercise, and added the Halloween aspect to it. XD But shhh. I'm telling people I came up with it alllll on my own. And I'm glad you guys are liking the whole "same costume" thing. I couldn't really add a "OMG THEIR IS THIS MURDERER IN HERE ON HALLOWEEN." So, I made it seem like they were going to die, like you said. XD So thanks for picking up on that!
I'm always worried about predictability, I'm pretty sure every writer is. So I'm glad it was predictable at all. And the reason they didn't let Angela win, was because they are unaware of her relationship with Jordan, so they still see her as someone who is purely out to get them, and having her beat them at something, would give her more power. XD Confusing, I know... -cries-
Naked... Naked... NAKED? You, Paula/Michael shipper, you... You love them so much, don't you? But no, I did NOT expect everyone to love them so much, I honestly thought their would be no romantic tension at all. But then, it was brought up... And now, every time I write their dialogue, it sounds like they want to be all over each other, in my head at least. XD
I thought that would be a nice little underlying element throughout the episode. I thought it would be a really nice and sweet moment between them, so I'm glad you liked it. And yay, glad this is has been one of your favorite episodes, and I hope I continue not to disappoint! XD
I had to.

RESPONSE: Jack Malone's Review of 1.09 "Mom"
HAHA! Paula, Paula, Paula... That's all I can say. XD
Bringing Alyssa is a huge step in Alisha's arc this Sequence. Now, that's not to say she's definitely leaving, because she is an adult, and she can make her own decisions, which is brought up in the next episode. So, you'll just have to see. XD
David is becoming one of my favorite characters to write for, he's just such a funny character, and I love writing those type of characters. And Alisha and David will be sorta focused on in the eleventh episode, so I hope you're excited for that, and there will be some Alex/David moments as well. XD I'm glad I've integrated David in, without him seeing like he didn't belong, because it's hard to introduce characters in a webisode, but I'm glad it worked!
Hahaha!! Gah, Michael/Paula! I really don't know what else to say about them. I'm just glad you guys love them! XD
Thank you sooo much for these reviews, Jack! And sorry again for taking so long to reply to them. I'm glad you love this show, because it's tons of fun to write, and I hope you enjoy the rest of the episodes!

YAY! I got to sit down and read the newest episode, here is my review:
1.09 - Mom Right, so first off, I think I have found my favorite episode of this series so far. Everything about it was fun and I laughed so many times throughout.I'm really enjoying the new character David, he seems like a younger, male version of Paula haha xD rather dopey. At first i wasn't sure if he would be a friend or foe to Alex and Alisha, but after this episode i can see that he fits in perfectly and consider him part of the family. I'm not 100% sure on a relationship between him and Alisha just yet, but i can definitely see a friendship forming.
So i remember reading in the spoiler section a while back that someone will be leaving the show, and from the way this episode ended its really looking like its going to be Alisha.... PLEASE, NO! I really enjoy Alisha and she's just finally coming out of her shell and being a more confident person. I really hope you just set this episode up to trick us, cause i'ma be hella mad if she leaves LOL. I don't really like her mother so far, but that's because Alisha deserves a better answer than, "its for the best". There has to be more to this story.
On to my favorite, PAULA! She has never failed to make me laugh during an episode which means your a pretty funny guy Brady. The whole awkward 'is this your girlfriend' moment was genius! i laughed my ass off when she said "What, am i ugly or something?", classic Paula. Oh and when she was staring at David with her creepy/awkward stare, haha that was awesome!
I gotta say, i LOVE this episode. Its definitely my favorite so far, great job Brady. 10/10

RESPONSE: Jay Patterson's Review of 1.09 "Mom"
First off, thank you so much for your review, Jay! I know I say this in every response I do, but all this feedback is really appreciated, and all of these points are taken to try and improve the show. So, again, thanks for the review!
Yay! Glad you really enjoyed this episode, and if it's become your favorite, then that makes me excited as well. XD Anyways, David is quickly making the duo a trio, which is something I was really excited about doing, and I really wanted to solidify that he wants to be Alex and Alisha's friend, and that they feel the same way. He's a real fun character to write, and he is sort of like Paula, but I like to think David is more sarcastic, as to Paula just being bubbly and quirky. But nonetheless, I'm glad you're liking him!
Oh, boy. I knew I would get a whole lot of this after I wrote this episode. XD Alisha is slowly coming out of her shell, which has made her obtain the ability to make her own decisions. We saw in "Commercial Success" that she is able to do things on her own, which includes decision making. So, in the nest episode, it's discussed that Alisha is an adult, and can make her own decisions. And, with Alyssa, I tried to look at it from her side -- a single mother, who let her daughter fly across the country, and never seeing her. She misses her daughter, which caused her visit to Hollywood. Like I said, Alyssa isn't in charge of Alisha's decisions, so you'll just have to wait and see what happens. XD
Hahaha! I'm glad you were laughing with Paula, because that's what I try to do with her -- make people laugh, which I'm glad she has always been able to do for you! And, since everyone has decided they want Michael/Paula, I've been trying to throw in things of their relationship status, just to mess with you guys. I'm a monster, I know. XD
Thanks again for the review, Jay! I'm glad you're a fan of the show, and I hope you continue to be. Glad you loved this episode so much! XD

"I'm Here" Review Following the arrival of Alyssa- Alisha's mother- this next episode decides to slow the pace down a little and show a more intimate moment between Michael- who proves that his main role on the series is playing the role of 'father', even when its not his child he's parenting- and Alisha, who is extremely torn, but primarily, wants to please everyone. That's where the main source of conflict comes into play, and I like that- she can't please everyone, and that realisation doesn't exactly help her figure out what to do- she doesn't want to hurt her mother, and she doesn't want to hurt her friends, or herself in the decision she has to ultimately make. A great episode.
Michael really stood out in this episode. I have to say, at the beginning of the episode, his dialogue didn't read as mature as I would have liked, considering the situation, and him talking about making bacon seemed a bit like, "go away, Michael! Gaaawwd." But, he really proved himself when the tone shifted to a more serious atmosphere, and Alisha needed that fatherly advice. The question of "what would you do" came into play twice, and I really liked that- Alisha wanted so many perspectives, and wanted to understand what the right thing was to do, but needed to know that this was her decision to make, and no one can do it for her- not even her mother. The severity of the situation has been amplified because of this decision to slow down the pace and really hone in on how torn Alisha is at this point.
The mood shifted quite nicely towards the end with Paula's introduction- it was a nice contrast of her and Michael to see how they interact with Alisha after this situation, and I really liked the way you did that. What's got me thinking about Paula, something that I think could bring a lot into the show is- why is she always so cheery and upbeat? Is there a reason she maintains this? Has something happened to her in the past that makes her try to always look at the bright side of things? What would happen when something shatters that for her, and she can't be upbeat for an episode? What effect would that have? You've really established the kind of character she is, and getting into her backstory more would be heaven- there's so much I wanna know about her, and I'm looking forward to future episodes.
Overall, this wasn't my favourite episode- but nonetheless, it was great. I love that you actually took the time to deal with the severity of Alisha's situation, slow the pace down a little, and focus in on this struggle of hers. 9/10.

RESPONSE: Jack Malone's Review of 1.10 "I'm Here'
Sorry I've taken a while to reply to this, Jack, I've been heaps busy, and just now got the time to sit down and do this. But nonetheless, thank you for the review, as always! I'm so glad you're a fan of the show, and are able to review the episodes when you get the chance, because I know you've got school and stuff. ANYWAYS, the reply shall commence!
I really wanted to focus on the decision Alisha is going to have to make, because it's a huge aspect of this Sequence, and her character arc. Last Arc, we saw that she could make decisions on her own, so deciding whether she'll go with her mother will, again, break her shell. I didn't want to skim over this, or rush it, because Alisha has a long journey this Arc, and it needs to be spotlighted. Super glad you like the episode!! XD
Oops, sorry about Michael's dialogue. I was really just trying to make a reference to the first episode, when he actually did burn the bacon. XD Anyways, this was really "Michael's episode" this Sequence, so he really did need to stand out, so I'm glad he did, and you didn't terribly hate it. Michael really needed to step up as her "father", because she doesn't have one to turn to, even if she was back home, so having that bond between Michael and Alisha was something I wanted to address, even if it meant having an entire episode dedicated to it, because this decision will majorly effect Alisha, whichever way she goes.
Being opposites, you would think Paula and Michael would handle the situation differently, which is something I made sure I did, because APPARENTLY THEY ARE MEANT TO BE. XD But no, I tried to stay true to their character, in terms of how they handled this situation. Oh, that question. XD I'm kidding. The reason as to why Paula is so upbeat, and never really gets angry, will eventually come into play. I just need to figure out when I can shove it in there. XD (Please tell me you got "that's what she said joke".)
I kinda knew this wouldn't be a "favorite" among everyone, but I'm still super excited you enjoyed it, and enjoyed the slowing of the pace. Ugh, I'm just so excited to love this show, and actually take the time to review it. It just... IT JUST MEANS SO MUCH.

My review of, 1.10: I'm Here*rolling about in a fit of laughter* WOW, that ending was just so, sooo funny! But i'll go back to the beginning. So, Alex took a back seat in this episode which let us see more of his father, Micheal, which is good because i slowly felt him fading away in the back ground in recent episodes. The whole father daughter thing with him and Alisha was really nice to read, i really like how he treats her as a part of his family and plays the role of a father figure to try and help her figure out what it is that she wants. I still feel really sorry for Alisha, and i really hope she decides to stay, as I've mentioned before she's come so far and her confidence has slowly been building, this being more noticeable in the Halloween episode where she stood up to the bullies Jordan and Angela by sabotaging them in the competition, so i hope she stands up to her mother as well so she can stay and so what she wants to do. After this touching moment things got a little crazy, and surprisingly i didn't expect it to be as crazy as it was, so nice job Brady, i was genuinely surprised. As usual Paula, steals the show with her madness, and the fact that she was going this mad over a dance made me chuckle because i just knew how annoyed Alex would be haha. I thought she would have booked a job, but no, it was a dance. Now, the end had me in stitches, which takes me to where i was at, at the beginning of the review... PAULA Michael, we’re going to that part of downtown. You know, where the prostitute got caught with the drug-dealer, who turned out to be an undercover cop turned big-baddy. You know, that one? i'm mean, what the hell? that is just too good! how does Paula come up with this stuff! She really does no how to wind up Micheal which makes things even funnier for me. Well done on the episode, it was VERY entertaining. 10/10

RESPONSE: Jay Patterson's Review of 1.10 "I'm Here"
Thank you soooo much for the review, Jay! I'm glad you're able to review episodes when you can, and have stayed faithful to the show, because all the feedback you've given has really helped! I hope you can continue to find the time to read/review, because I know school can be tough right now, and plus I just like getting some feedback. XD
Like I said to Jack, I really wanted to slow down the pace for this episode, so I can show the struggle Alisha is going through, because this decision is going to change her life -- she'll either defy her mother, or leave her dream behind. And she attempted to get points from all sides, and ultimately realized that she can't please everybody, something she's been trying to do all along.
Michael was huge in this episode, because he really stepped up as Alisha's "father", showing her that she is an adult, and can make her own decisions, and that she'll be the only one who can make those decisions. Because Alisha has been coming out of her shell, but with the appearance of her mother, she scurried away due to her fear of not pleasing everyone, including herself.
WOOT! You were surprised! Always going for surprising moments. XD Anyways, Paula gets excited over very small things, the dance being one of those many things. It really set up the plot for the next episode, which will take place at the dance, leading to several events which take place. Hopefully you guys will like them. XD And, hahaha!, glad you enjoyed that piece of dialogue, it usually just comes to me, and plus it was random, which really stayed true to Paula's character.
I'm glad you really enjoyed this episode, because I had a feeling this wasn't going to be a fan favorite, with the slowing of the pace. But, nonetheless, I'm super thrilled you enjoyed it a whole lot, especially the end. XD Thanks again, Jay!

I just read the new episode titled "Dance, Dance", and i loved it! So, here's my review...
1.11: Dance, Dance This episode had so many great moments, and i really enjoyed that it was a few pages longer than usual!
Alisha is a character I loved from the beginning, she was very shy, never really stood up for herself, so i really felt sorry for her. Since then, she has grown A LOT, stood up to her enemy's, over come her fears of stage fright, overall just built up her confidence and i guess LA's Teen Talent has helped her out with that. As a character she has grown so much, definitely more than the other characters, and for me this is 'her season', or sequence even. And as far as story goes, she is my favorite character, yes, even above Paula (..I still LOVE Paula though, haha). Right so onto the episode itself.
Other than the whole Alisha taking down Angela in a sing off and then the after math with David (which I'll talk about later), my favorite scene would be the 'Male Bonding' scene with Alex and David. I like that they had there little scene together because you haven't really seen much of their friendship, its mostly been all about Alisha and David, so having this scene together was really fun to read and it makes me hope they get up to more mischief in upcoming episodes. The whole '50 Shades of Grey' thing and their reaction was just brilliant, I laughed more at that than i did at Paula this episode, which is surprising because Paula is one funny chick. Speaking of Paula, we actually see a kinda-serious side to her when she thanks Micheal for sticking up for her and say's "Seriously, no one’s ever stood up for me. Like, ever!", which was really nice AND MAKE ME WANT PAULA/MICHEAL TOGETHER SOOOOOO BADDDDD! Yes Brady, you torture us, you evil evil writer!
The sing off was great, you know why, I've already declared my love for Alisha and how she's grown, so i just want to talk about 'the kiss'. PERFECT! I wasn't expecting it to be honest but it was pretty perfect. I really like David/Alisha so i hope he is one of her reason's to stay. Plus i really hope David sticks around he's awesome for both Alisha and Alex, in different ways.
Anyway I'll rap it up here. AWESOME episode and i am really looking forward to the sequence finale, 10/10

"Dance, Dance" Review. Just gonna say it right off the bat- this could very well be my favourite episode of the series so far. Not only did it balance its characters and relationships out in a perfect way, but the plot was great, and there was the perfect amount of drama and comedy that I just love about this series. But, before I can get into anything else, I need to talk about Paula and Michael, because... So first of all, Paula making those comments about Michael's clothes, and all of that felt like I was reading an old married couple, and it just oozed with chemistry. Which I don't know if that's weird to say, because usually I find chemistry is what you can see between two things in front of you, and I've never really used it to describe characters that I'm reading, but god damn do these two have chemistry, so I don't even care if it don't make sense! Moving on, the way Michael stood up to "king of the butt-faces" (which is a hilariously accurate name for the guy) was one of my favourite aspects of this episode. I loved how he pointed to Paula and said "her", and specifically pointed her out like that- it made it even more special. And Paula saying she's never been defended like that before- so will the wedding be next week's episode, or? Moving on to my second favourite couple- gotta love David/Alisha. Seriously, if she decides to leave, I'll be so gutted. Purely because you can NOT start a relationship this epic, and then have Alisha bail like that. You can't tear it away from me Brady. You can't. I'll hunt you down. I'll doooo it! But no, I have a sneaking suspicion that Alex might flake town (for at least a little while) based on the drama that bubbled up towards the end of the episode, with Angela and Jordon being their scheming little selves again... I'll just be very surprised if the big departure comes down to Alisha making a decision- I feel like you're setting up something here to trick us. My assumption is that Alex doesn't confront Alisha about what Jordan and Angela claimed, and will sort of perceive it through what he's been told, and the image will match that perception, so- you know, already being the third wheel, he has a fit and leaves. Sort of a "we were in this together, but you're leaving, and you didn't even have the courtesy to tell me first- you told him" kinda thing. I don't know. I'm just going off of the impatience of Alex's character, and how he can sort of react first without thinking. So my guess is its him that flakes town (for at least a while). That said, I'm still not one hundred percent sure what the hell is going to go down next week. Highlight of the episode was the "bro-sesh" between David and Alex, who found 50 Shades of Grey, and read it, resulting in "BURN IT! BURN THE THING." Made me laugh. The sing off was handled really well- I like how you integrated other aspects of the story around it, so it wasn't thrown at us all at once. It was just done really, really well. So props for that! Just have to tell you that I had a really crappy day today- missed school because my levels were messed up after having a low in the middle of the night, and it just ruined my whole day. I saw the new episode, and decided to read it because I love this show and it always makes me happy. You do a great job keeping this series extremely entertaining and fun to read, and I'm always excited for what's in store for future episodes. Love, love, love the show! Can't wait to see what goes down in the sequence finale. This was by far my favourite episode- a 10/10.

RESPONSE: Jay Patterson's Review of 1.11 "Dance, Dance"
I'm really glad you consider Alisha your favorite character, because I just assumed everyone's was Paula. XD But anyways, this was really "her sequence", because, yes, she learned to stick up for herself, and she learned to not be afraid. Her arc has been really fun for me to write, and having such a great response for it makes me reeaaaally happy.
I'm glad you enjoyed the little "bonding" session between Alex and David, because I really wanted to show that they're friends, too, so he doesn't really feel out of the group. And I'm glad you laughed with the whole "50 Shades of Grey" thing, because that was a highlight scene for me to write. XD Also with Michael sticking up for Paula. It really showed that Michael officially considers Paula as a friend, and that he's somewhat warmed up to her, except for when she kissed him on the cheek... Then it went back down a little. XD
Yay! I was really nervous about it, because of the mixed reaction it got the first time around, so I integrated another scene in there, so it wouldn't seem all drag-y. And apparently it wasn't, yay! And, the kiss. XD Oh, that was a joy to write as well. Probably one of my favorites this Sequence, actually.
WOOT! I'm so thrilled you like this episode, and I hope you like the finale just as much as this one. Thanks again, Jay!!

RESPONSE: Jack Malone's Review of 1.11 "Dance, Dance"
Whoa, you went all out in this review... I LOVE IT! There are so many GIFs and... and.... IT'S ALL SO BEAUTIFUL. Anyways...
YAY! Glad this is a shoo-in for your favorite episode so far. It was one of my favorites to write, so knowing it's got such great reception really makes me excited. And balance is something I really try to work on, because I don't want it to drift into the "LOL. ADAM SANDLER MOVIE" comedy, and I don't want it to drift into the "Soap Opera" drama. Those things are like horocruxs to me (YES, I MADE A HARRY POTTER REFERENCE #thuglife).
WOOT! Compliment on chemistry for written characters? -checks off list- That makes me really excited, because... IT JUST DOES, OKAY? Anyways, I really wanted Michael to stand up for James, because it showed that he treats Paula as a friend, an actual friend and that he's sort of accepted her as someone who really wants the best for his family. And with Paula's line about "nobody's ever stood up for me before", will really come into play when her past is uncovered, which will be in the first Arc next Sequence! Or the second... I'll decide later. BACK TO THE POINT, BRADY. Her backstory will come. Fo sho.
I am sooo excited that you guys are liking David/Alisha, because I was afraid that it would seem 'forced' and 'weird' and... NEVERMIND. Okay, so, Alisha and David are a plus. Yay!! Now onto Alex, because you have a very legitimate suspicions, WHICH IS MAKING ME NERVOUS. HAVE YOU SEEN MY NOTES? HUH?! But, I can confirm that Alisha and Alex will have a "conversation" in the next episode, you'll just have to wait and see.
Alex and Alisha will talk, yes. But how the mood/tone between them is something you're going to have to wait and see. Again, your suspicion scares me... It's just... IT COULD HAPPEN, I JUST DON'T KNOW. Haha, glad you have no idea what's going to go down. ALWAYS, going for things like that. Makes me excited people are looking forward to it!
HAHA! Loved writing that scene, because it really showed the friendship that Alex has established with David, and that he's not there just for Alisha. YAAAY! I'm so glad you didn't find this singing aspect drug out, like you did the last, because that's what I was really scared about. But, NOT NO MOE. -shakes hand- Thank you for diminishing my nervousness.
I'm so sorry your day didn't go very well, we all have them. I have NO idea what you're talking about (sorry... >.>), but I wish you the best in your... Um... Condition? That the right word? We'll go with it. Anyways, I'm really glad this made you happy, and that it's been consistently entertaining, because that's something you always want to accomplish. Hope you enjoy the Sequence Finale, Jack, and thanks again for the awesome review!!
