Great to see you pitching again, Karl! It's pretty apparent that you have a real passion for Kara and her story, so I definitely love that about this pitch. It's very informative and well thought out. I pretty much feel the same way about this as your others, so I don't want to sound repetitive. Just know that I am very excited for a pilot to get a further, in-depth look on what you've got planning.

Started an Arrow rewatch and man.... they did Katie Cassidy and Laurel so dirty. She was shining in season one.

I love this pitch, and I love this idea. This is so well thought out and crafted in such a mesmerizing way. Everything having to do with magic interests me, so I'm totally on board with this. I love the idea of this Guild, and the interactions between Miles and his students can lead to some incredible scenes and development. I'm ready to check out the pilot, which I'll hopefully do soon. Also, don't worry about having a cast. I actually think it's pretty intruiging that you don't have one, but in the end it's up to you. Casts are great.

Thank you SO MUCH for this review, Jack! That's all I can really say. I think trying to remember everything I was thinking when writing this episode and putting myself in the mindset of why I made certain decisions with the episode would end in a mess of a post. But THANK YOU! I always love reading your thoughts, and I can say with confidence that as the show goes on, everything, specifically my writing, becomes stronger.

OH MY GOD! Thank you all for this incredible support and incredible feedback. I don't even know where to begin. I would like to apologize to Jay and Jon for just NOW seeing your posts. 2016 was a hectic year for me, so they must have slipped under my radar. I feel like I can't properly go in depth with my responses to all three of your reviews, mostly because of my own terribleness and mind currently being an entire blur on what I even wrote up until this point in Audition. So, for now, thank you all. I love seeing your support for this show. Also to Addison, WOW! I'm so happy you stuck all the way through and read over 50 episodes of my crazy little series. Hopefully you continue to enjoy what you read, and thanks for hopping on the Audition train

Hey guys, newbie here. You can call me Martin if you'd like. So I've just finished reading episode 3 and my god, I wish this was a real show. It was well written and I adore the Alcatraz-meets-Sliders premise, Lily and Adam make for a great couple and I've really started to root for them despite them being murder-hobos. I'll maybe get around to writing a more in-depth review of each episode but for now all I've got to say is that I want this to continue. I want to know who did the thing to the traveler, I want to know if Lily and Adam will become better people, Adam does seem to regret the actions that led him to jail and if the last episode was an indicator Lily is on her path to doing the same. Welcome to the forum! I love that you took the time to sit down and read this crazy show. I have so much fun writing and plotting it, and it really allows my creative juices to flow in ways I hadn't thought of. I've never seen Sliders, so any comparisons to thought are completely unintentional, as I have tried to make this show incredibly unique and fresh in terms of following these characters and their interactions in various dimensions and worlds. I'm glad you're left with all these questions, because that's exactly what I wanted to happen! I think you might have inspired me to turn some attention to this series for a while All I can say is that I've tried to take concepts and universes that have been visited before and spin them in a way that was my own (ie. "The Light Man," a serial killer in a pacifist world, and a homage/parallel between 1984 and Lily's past). Like I've said, I've never seen Sliders so I'm completely unaware of what that show has done in terms of different worlds and plot points. Hopefully the dimensions in the future come across as more creative, because I would like to say I've got some pretty good ones up my sleeve!

EXCLUSIVE: A FAMILIAR FACE RETURNS TO HOLLYWOOD! VSGuide has just learned that Liz Gillies, who played series regular Angela Davis for the first two sequences of 'Audition,' has booked a multi episode arc for the webisode's fifth sequence! Gillies is set to return in the seventh episode, "Raven of LA," and will appear for the remainder of the first half, and is in talks to appear in episodes thereafter. When we last saw Angela, she was beginning to emotionally heal herself, with the help of Alisha, after the trial that sent her abusive ex-boyfriend Jordan to jail. "When we meet back up with Angela, she's in a much better, much happier place in her life," says series creator Brady Brown. "In fact, she and Alisha switch roles, with Angela being the one to give Alisha some much needed advice about her life. It's been really fun to meet back up with Liz and write scenes between Angela and other people, and see how much those relationships have grown." "For a majority of the series, we've only seen Angela attached to Jordan," actress Liz Gillies went on to say on her character's return. "This time around, she's free. She's by herself, and she has a clearer head. She's in a better place in her life, and the way she talks and interacts with other people really shows that." When asked on whether or not Angela would be sticking around full time, Gillies had this to say: "You know, I don't really know. I think [the show] has grown exponentially since [Nathan Kress] and I left, but I think Angela coming back really allows a lot of the characters, particularly Alisha, to reflect on a lot of things and move forward. I would love to stick around, but I guess we'll both have to wait and see." Excited for Angela's return? What do you think she'll bring to the table now that she's in a happier place? Want her to stick around permanently? Sound off below, and stay tuned for more Audition scoops, coming soon!

So happy you've pitched this idea again, Guy! I've always loved it, and hopefully I can get around to reading it soon. Everyone's pretty much said the praises I want to give this, so I'll just echo that. Can't wait!

I think the main issue with the pilot I have is that it really relies on a previous existing knowledge of Star Trek and it's lore. A lot of the descriptions of the races go along the lines of "a typical Vulcan" etc, and that's just really hard for me to picture except for pointy ears (which I'm sure is not the only distinction of a Vulcan). That, and there's a lot of description for ships, places, and things like that and it gets overly complex with how its described. Maybe it's only me, but I found myself re-reading multiple action lines because I couldn't get a proper visual of what it was meant to look like.
With that being said, however, the characters are the real shining star. Everyone was so distinct and clear, and I really enjoyed getting to see the reactions to T'Sara becoming the Captain. Standouts for me included T'Sara and R'Nara. Everyone was great, though.

5.03: "Southern Comfort for the Hollywood Soul"This is episodes carries on with the lighter tone with a sprinkle of foreshadowing drama that I think will come forward sooner or later. There was a big moment in here with Alisha who decides to tell her life long best friend a big secret about herself that she has kept from him. And in true best friend fashion Alex is nothing but accepting and supportive of her. Their bond is truly special and unbreakable and I love when you take the time to shine a light on that. I don't see their relationship changing at all but I would like to see how Alex will interact Alisha's potential girlfriend at some point down the line. One of the lines I loves in this episode was, "he’s seen a new page of his best friend’s life being written right in front of him." So I think it would be pretty nice for him to experience this new page. The lighter tone will continue to be there, but expect a slowly lingering darker tone that will really take a half and half balance in the second half. Alisha coming out to Alex was such a huge moment, not only for those characters but for me as a writer. It was a definite highlight in my writing life so far. Alex will definitely be experiencing the new page(s) in Alisha's life, and vice versa in the episodes to come! You're right! Next ep 5.05 is the episode for you! That's when those band auditions shall take place! Thanks, Jay!
